Sea Flame Seafood & Steakhouse
There are only a few ways to make perfect better.. and we think Dry Aging is one of them as it adds even more tenderness and the distinct roasted, nutty flavor of a properly dry-aged steak
We only Dry Aged the best USDA Prime Steaks. Dry aging takes time, a keen eye for quality and a precise technique for the perfect ripening climate. We have it. A proper dry-age steak is expensive and usually found at only the best steakhouses.
Our USDA Prime Porterhouse is the best Angus beef has to offer. This means you will always get beef with moderate marbling, grade "A' maturity and it is sourced specifically from a couple specific farms in the MidWest. Our Porterhouses are Dry Aged for about 30 days

Restaurant has been renovated since I was last there. Really nice inside. Really thorough Steak and Seafood menu. Prices were higher than what I was expecting. Service was great. I’d go back just for that. And the food was equally as good. Just expensive.
What a pleasant experience! Our server Freddy really was a highlight to our evening. If we could we’d eat here every day and request his tables. The food was delicious! Our steak was cooked perfectly. The oysters were phenomenal. The slab bacon was perfect. Even the steak fries were so satisfying! The only dish I didn’t care for was the creamed spinach but WHO CARES?! Probably just a personal preference. Overall 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!
The chef is unbelievable. The Alaskan King crap is better then City Island. The steaks are cooked to perfection. The asparagus seasoned just right and not soft or to firm. It's worth more than 5 stars.
My fiancé ordered a steak with request of it being cooked medium. Once he cut into it was clearly well done. Notified the manager, he offered to make new steak but we had already been there for a while since we ordered apps and were not interested in waiting longer for another one to be prepared. The let down they didn’t comp any of our previously ordered drinks off our bill. Would not recommend the burrata waste of money. All in all, would not be returning. You are better off going to a more established and better quality steak house for value.
Everything was excellent 🥲
Christmas Eve dinner. Wanted some seafood items. Oysters on the half shell were so good, as was the linguine with calamari, clams, shrimp, and a scallop. Yum. The chocolate mousse cake to end was perfect.
Everything was excellent
The service was good, they were short staffed because they could not get help on Sundays, felt bad for them. All the food was excellent. We got the 28 day dry aged 28oz Ribeye, was cooked perfectly and was very tasty, German hash brown and broccoli on the side were excellent. My wife had a delicious pinot noir , I had a great Gin cocktail. We will return soon.
Just went for dinner. Very noisy, but the food was decent. Wait staff was good.
I never write reviews but felt I had to.. we were expecting an expensive meal since it is a steak house however we were also expecting good food and service.. service was awful!! Sat for at least 15 minutes before asking us if we wanted a drink, never came back, food was mediocre at best.. ambiance awful , noise deafening.. not sure how they stay in business.. felt like we were in a cafeteria.. steak fries were tasteless, Brussels sprouts no flavor, steak tasteless..even cocktails and wine mediocre…Go elsewhere!! Waiter knew we were not having a good meal, two large , loud parties there, he acknowledged that the place was deafening.. could have offered a cup of coffee on the house…we wouldn’t have take it but he offered nothing after acknowledging that our dinning was not an enjoyable experience. What a waste of money!
Great food and the Alaskan king crap was better than any on City Island. The service couldn't have been better.
Food and service are stellar
Went as a last minute dinner option. We will def be going back. Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive.
Great food and great service
Excellent service & cuisine!!
Great, quaint venue for friends celebrating a birthday. The service and food were superb!
Outstanding as usual
We had a wonderful meal at Sea Flame. The steak was superb and the apps and sides equally good. The service was excellent, including a warm welcome and timely attention. We can't wait to go back.
Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Food was expensive but very delicious.
Great experience at Sea Flame. I’m usually not a fan of steakhouses but this place was great. Interesting most of us had seafood and it was delicious.
We went Restaurant Week and wanted to try someplace new. We were Pleasantly Surprised! Service was very good, Friendliness was Tremendous, and the Food was Excellent! Peter couldn’t be more Accommodating or Concerned with making sure you were having a Good Night! Very Pleased, Everyone of 5 in my party, Enjoyed their Dinner! Will visit again!
Excellent food. Five of us, who each had something different, agreed everything was terrific. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service was extremely attentive. Just a bit noisy. We will be back!
Fabulous experience from start to finish. Delicious, well-prepared meal with lovely desserts. Staff was wonderful and attentive. True quality.
We have been here before, a few times. This visit was to take part in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff is very attentive and professional. Peter does an amazing job of managing it all and making everyone feel welcome, and checking on each table a few times during your visit. The food was delicious. We have decided we need to put Sea Flame on heavier rotation when we dine out.
Sea Flame is one of our favorite local restaurants. The food and service are always top notch!
Excellent food and service.Wait staff is very well trained.
Food was delicious! Waiter was good. But overall disappointed because had to wait over 45min even with a dinner reservation. Plus very loud atmosphere!
Very overpriced with extraordinary noise, even though we had a “quiet table”. If they are going to have $70 entrees in a strip mall, they should turn off the TV and tone down the kitchen noise.
Very expensive but the food and bar wine was delicious. It did not disappoint. Peter, the owner was present and took all table orders, while there are ample pleasant servers. The noise level is a bit high. The steak, fries, and sautéed spinach were yummy. The risotto and sauce were delicious but at that price, it was a bit skimpy on the scampi, as the shrimp were not that big. Top off your meal with the yummy hot fudge sundae!
I am not much of a steak person, but when steak is good I really do enjoy it. I had the ribeye with a side of Bernaise sauce and it was really quite excellent.
The service at Sea Flame was ok, but certainly not the level I would expect at that price point. However I would not say this is a criticism of Sea Flame, as service is struggling at practically any restaurant we have been to in the last 18 months. From that standpoint I'd say Sea Flame is better than most.
That being said, I would probably dine here again.
Pricey but the food is excellent. The service was a little slow but attentive. The drinks are strong. Casual atmosphere, which we enjoyed
Delicious food and attentive service. But quite overpriced (cheapest steak is $55 w/no sides) and noisy and dark with no candles on tables. Went there for Restaurant Week to try it out but no price fixe menus on weekend nights after 6. Which was not disclosed prior to arrival. Had a good time with my friend but will not return.
Food was excellent. The calamari melted in your mouth. They didn’t rush you.
INCREDIBLE SERVICE. OURSTANDING FRENCH MARTINIS. LAMB CHOPS ARE TO DIE FOR!
My hubby and I decided to try Seaflame for the restaurant week. Came early so we sat on the bar and lo behold they have $1 oysters for happy hour. Of course, as oysters lovers, we can't resist and had 2 dozens. So before our dinner we are already stuffed. The bartender , Ada, was super amazing. She made me a wonderful mocktail.
Now on to the food we ordered for dinner:
French onion soup - excellent.
Shrimp scampi - very good , a bit salty for my taste but was perfect to pair with the broccoli I ordered extra
Chicken Parmigiana- just okay.
Desserts ( chocolate mousse and cheesecake - very good)
Servers are attentive. We will be back.
We loved our dinner and looking forward to going back soon. The owner Peter was amazing
THE BEST SERVICE I have EVER experienced in a restaurant in New York! 10/10. Food was incredible. Steak cooked perfectly oh and did I mention the service? My goodness. So amazing.
