Sat at the bar and really enjoyed a great experience. Staff was very friendly and prompt. Have you ever had Lobster tots!!! BOOM. Also had a killer Poke bowl and the sushi is legit, like legit! An unexpected pleasure overall.

The mai tai's were great. The lobster roll lobster and the lobster boil meat was over done and a bit tough to chew. Wait staff was great. We were just traveling through so we aren't able to give them a second chance.

Excellent bartenders made delicious cocktails after listening to exactly what we wanted. We shared the crabcake appetizer which was positively delicious. Then we moved on to excellent Caesar salads mine with grilled salmon and my friend’s with grilled chicken. We both enjoyed it very much.

I had a fantastic evening catching up with a friend at Sea Level NBPT. We started with speciality cocktails and calamari; I had the excellent Baja Tacos and my friend had the scampi. Both Tina and Garrett looked after us all evening, and they're both fantastic, attentive servers. Thank you!

What an awesome experience! We were with another couple who has never been before! They loved it! We were all very impressed with the freshness of our food! Our server Mark was exceptional! He never rushed us and was also very attentive! Love Sea Level! We will be back!

We had a lovely dinner at the Sea Level. The crab cake appetizer was large and had the right proportion of crab to breading. My husband loved his fish sandwich which came with delicious piping hot fries. My pepperoni pizza was very good. The IPA made for the restaurant was cold and tasty. Our server worked very hard and was friendly. A little on the pricey side for the pub food we got but that seems to be the case everywhere these days. Highly recommend!

I had halibut with lemon beurre blanc sauce which was good. For $29 dollars small portion. And the vegetables are always the mixed vegetables with summer squash and zucchini which I am tired of. The risotto was very good. My husband wanted fried fish or fish tacos but they use pollock. Neither of us like polluck. It’s a seafood restaurant in New England they should be using haddock or cod, especially with the prices they charge. Service was very good.

We went to Sea Level prior to a show at the Firehouse. It is such a convenient location when seeing a show there. Upon our arrival, our reservation was unable to be found at first. We were seated outside by our choice as it was a beautiful evening. Our table was a bit wobbly, which had us struggling a little bit. Our waiter was friendly and efficient up until we received our food, which at that time it started to get busier, and he seemed as if he was rushing us out. He did give us the dessert menu but we decided we were going to get another cocktail instead of dessert. So when he came back to ask about our dessert order, we said we were not going to get dessert, he took the menu, and walked away. He came with the bill, quickly dropping it off with a tray of drinks for another table before we could get his attention. We waited several minutes to try to order another one but then just decided to go into the bar to get one. We paid our bill, went to the bar, and unfortunately had to wait many minutes to get acknowledged or service. We had to quickly drink that cocktail before heading up to the show as it took way too long to wait and get it. I can't say they were short staffed because there were many people working around. The food was delicious and the cocktails too! We had the mussels, and Red Sox Maki-(yummy!!) and the crab cake sandwich-it was huge and delicious! We will go back and hope that the service stays great through our whole dining experience!

Ordered fisherman platter asked to have clams lightly cooked, T hey we’re overcooked like rubber bands, scallops overcooked, shrimp were onion rings all stuck together, should have sent it back but did not want friends have to wait , just not impressed with food at all.

Hostess was pleasant and accommodating. Our server was kind and attentive. Nachos weren't' spectacular, but our entrees were excellent. I highly recommend the roasted haddock, the crab stuffing on top was more like having a crab cake on top, cooked perfectly. It's hard to find a place with pleasant staff AND fair prices these days, but Sea Level exceeded our expectations.

The food and drinks were excellent and the wait staff were very good with perfect level of attentiveness. Only improvements would be something to din the noise level a bit-way over the top for dinner and also pay attention to the notes I add in my reservation-I wrote standard seating and still got the high top which we hate. Would be good to understand more clearly if we can request outdoor seating on the app-perhaps I misunderstood but once seated we requested outside to get away from the noise and discovered it would be a 45 minute wait. We skipped it but still unsure if I can request ahead of time or not.

I wanted to go to Sea Level-NBPT for PLUM ISLAND CLAMBAKE- First of all, staff were all really nice. We were early and asked to sit outdoors, it was 5:15pm- I ordered a bowl of clam chowder which took really long to come out. Maybe it was staff shortage, ok that's fine. For our entree, I had the clambake and my husband ordered blackened mahi tacos- I was disappointed with the clambake, mussels, clams were overcook (dry). I've had a few clambakes and it usually comes in broth based but this one was prepared steamed (dry). I can see why the market price for the clambake as $42, there wasn't much. It would have been weird to send it back after it came out. My husband said his Mahi didn't taste fresh, he was disappointed as well. I give it a 3 star because the staff were great.

Ribeye steak was tough and did not look like a ribeye cut, was undercooked and had to go back on grill; crab cake sandwich was undercooked and fell apart, seafood tower overpriced for what it was

Our server was excellent! He was friendly, helpful, and paid attention to details. The location can’t be beat. So service and ambiance were excellent. The food, however, was disappointing. The corn salad was great, the calamari was average, but the sauce with it was watery, the oysters we received were small and inedible, Lobster was just ok, for the price and hype, the food was not with it.

Food was very good. Caesar sale was a bit skimpy for the price. The roasted haddock and halibut were both very good. The halibut was just a tiny bit overcooked but the seasoning was good. The risotto and vegetables were also very good.

Service was not the best. He was not very attentive. Had to ask for drinks, place the order, second round, check. Pretty much everything. Outdoor in the back area could use a facelift. Looks run down, trees overgrown, wood chipping and peeling on deck. Fried pickles were mushy. Calamari was okay. Roasted haddock was very good. Was there to celebrate a birthday yet the server never suggested anything to celebrate the occasion. Overall, first and last time we will be there.

We had a reservation for Sunday at 5:45 and was seated promptly. The menu has a wide selection but is mainly geared toward seafood (as expected by the name of the restaurant). We ordwered three appertizers and they were alll very good. For the main course, two of us ordered the Seafood plate which were huge and very well prepared. They were enough for two meals. The fish of the day was Halibut and it's also well prepared. I ordered the Seared Seasame Seed Yellowfin Tuna and the fish is cooked just right. I would have like the fish to arrive sliced instead of two chuncks but that's a minor nit. Overall the experience is very positive.

Awesome lunch at Sea Level in Newburyport. Outstanding Service from the hostess and the BEST waiter we’ve ever had, Gary. He was working hard to make sure we were happy the entire time. Food and drinks were incredible especially the sushi, the lobster roll and the fish sandwich. Easy to make a reservation . So glad we chose Sea Level.

We always enjoy our visits to Sea Level in Newburyport. The service is always excellent and you are never rushed out. The food and drinks are always good. I want to acknowledge our server Stephanie M. She was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Also, kudos to the hostess station. They are so organized with the summer crowds and always get you seated promptly.
