It was our 31st Wedding Anniversary. The mussels are the best in Halifax. The broth the mussels came was like soup and I consumed every bit of the broth. My wife had the fish chowder and she loved it, rich & creamy. The Black Mamba Sushi was outstanding and truly the Best in Halifax. Nice ambiance, beautiful view of the harbor with boats coming and going. Fire table was nice and made us linger. Service was a bit slow, busy night though and the food was excellent . Over all a very nice evening out.

Absolutely wonderful experience, nice wine selection, great service, we had sushi which was outstanding, my step dad loved his lamb, and on a note of service my moms halibut was over cooked (no big deal accidents happen) and they promptly fixed the situation. I’m visiting from Montreal and I would absolutely return. Thanks Stephen and team!

We were happy we got a table outside. Service was very good but food came out waaaay too late. Waitress was awesome. Food was delicious. I am a designer/stylist/cook and appreciate your restaurant very much. Well done!!! Just get the food out faster please ;)

Waited around 40minutes for food being a 10pm table, food was lukewarm when it arrived, server was no where’s to be found when we wanted to close our bill out, Buffalo roll was dry and tasteless, calamari was delicious, oysters weren’t shucked properly and had shell in them but tasted good.

Great evening with friends. Oysters and dips were great. It was raining heavily so we didn't get to experience the fire tables but the ambiance was beautiful inside as well.

The noise was brutal had to yell across a table for two to have a conversation. Tables also way to close together. Food was just ok. This was my third visit and thought it may be better this time but no luck.

Amazing culinary experience for my first time with sushi. Our server was phenomenal - she was attentive to our needs all evening. Please give her our thanks- her background was Asian although I don’t remember her name. Sushi was tasty, fire pit at the table was great. Only thing I would change is that there was a An amazing acoustic guitar player playing on a bench next door and the restaurant was playing their upbeat/fast music over top of it.

This place is extremely casual and not smart casual as listed. This would not be a place to impress a date. The decor is tired, the food is generally mediocre although I did enjoy the mussels that have a nice touch of spice. The service was spotty. I could not recommend this restaurant and will not return.
