My server was so welcoming and was versed on items that were on the menu. I had a scallop linguini special. Scallops were some of the best I have ever had and the linguini noodles were tender with just the right amount of parmesan. I had just arrived on late arrival and staff could not have been any more accommodating and helpful. I'd absolutely visit Sea Port again for a meal!

Service was great. Food was over priced, steak was over cooked and sent it back which came back still over cooked and then the vegetables were cold.

We stayed at the Westin while in the city attending the comedy festival. We had both Dinner and Breakfast there. Both meals were fabulous. The service was outstanding. In my opinion people usually avoid in house dining because they feel that the food is overpriced. I feel the prices are reasonable and very comparable to prices at other restaurants in the city. The vibe is a little more intimate and the service is outstanding. We love their eggs Benedict and the coffee is so good. My husband had their fish and chips and he said it was the best he has had in the city. I had the Reuben which was also delicious. Highly recommend trying this place out!

This is our third visit since last April. We live in Pictou NS and love to introduce our family and friends to your restaurant. Rhoda or Rhonda served us for the second time. Always smiling, always kind and always looking after us. The service is impeccable as always and what can I say about the food. Succulent, beautiful plates.

Five staff members ignored me while I waited to be seated. My calamari arrived cold and soggy while the waitress chatted up another table. The rest of the food and cocktail was fresh and delicious.

Children’s menu should be offered at seating, not after waiting 20+ minutes while a young child tries to figure out what could possibly be tried on the adult menu, or with having to ask two different staff members for a children’s option. If “complimentary juice” is offered while awaiting a table, it should not appear on the bill as a charge afterward. Server check ins are necessary, but not every three to four minutes.

Steamed mussels were the best we've had in a long time and the charcuterie board was spectacular. The presentation was a visual feast. Portions were generous. The ambience is relaxed -- leather chairs and well-spaced tables. Prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the excellent quality of the whole experience.

Very good service, delicious meals. Mussels were gigantic, fried pickels phenomanal. Lobster roll is one of the best in Halifax. We also had our breakfasts here, it is not your ordinary breakfast.

We, four of us, found the restaurant to be a real nice place, excellent service, excellent food, pleasant, quiet, atmosphere, attentive staff. Just real user-friendly, so to speak.. Only one small quibble, the fish piece that came with the fish and chips was a bit underdone, but then, it was a chunky piece and I would guess would be difficult to do evenly both inside and outside. But generally, a good experience. Thanks to the staff

An excellent setting for quiet conversation. Our dinners was amazingly good. The chef made mushroom ravioli and beet salad were the absolute best! Our waiter was so pleasant and helpful in suggesting both food and drinks! This will be our place to go!

It was an amazing experience as always. Our waiter Maxim was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. The service was simply perfect. The cocktails suggested by Maxim were spectacular. The food was awesome. We only had multiple appetizers and those were all excellent. Strongly recommend.

We arrived for 11AM, a brunch plan. We must have hit the end of the dining room's "breakfast" because it was noisy at first and the servers were busy and then quiet...and the server was hard to find. We had to remind twice for a coffee refresh, and then follow up on an "extra" we'd requested for our meal. My meal: the fishcakes were ok. I'd asked for fruit instead of potatoes and didn't receive either. The bacon "jam" was a cold, flavourless paste. The coleslaw was soupy and the cabbage slice really large. The coleslaw dressing bled into the remoulade, which was disappointing. Overall the plate was a great concept, but the individual elements did not all work, or work well together. My friend's egg benedict was good. We shared a side latke. The outside was almost crisp and the inside was undercooked. It could have used another 30 seconds cooking. The Americano coffee was excellent. The brewed coffee when it came needed cream because it was bitter. Overall, it's a nice space and the menu was pretty exciting. We had high hopes. With the cost of going out and the variety of options in town, I'm not sure if I'll try this out again any time soon.

The food and our server were absolutely outstanding! The service was slow BUT, BY NO MEANS WAS IT OUR SERVER’s FAULT. There was only one server on to serve many people/tables. She was actually running to be as quick as possible. Her smile and demeanour never changed. She was cheerful, friendly, and efficient. In my opinion, more servers should have been working Tuesday evening.

A wonderful Thanksgiving Buffet. Five full tables spread with evrything you would expect and more, traditional carved roast turkey, roast striploin, seafod, breakfast, desert and on and on. Service was above and beyond. Would go back!

This place was PERFECTLY located. We stayed at the Westin the night before an early flight the next morning. It was pouring rain and we couldn't face having to go outside again. We elected to have dinner at Seaport Social and it was 100% the right answer to a day with a lot of driving and wet roads. We all ordered a bowl of their seafood chowder and two ciabatta loaves. The chowder was perfectly herbed and delicious. The bread complimented things perfectly and was warm and crusty. After, we all felt like dessert was a good idea and all got something different. Each dish was a hit. The ambient music was present, but not overwhelming for my mother and her hearing aids. Our server was speedy and attentive. I fully recommend this spot for a delicious and comfortable meal. If I'm ever in Halifax again, it'll definitely be a spot I'll try to revisit.

Service was wonderful. Setting beautiful Food was not exciting. Flavours muted and bland. We had fish cake Benedict. Eggs were perfectly done but the rest of the dish was uninspiring. Hollandaise was flat and boring . Fish cake was over cooked and flavourless
