Excellent New Year’s eve: staff made everything perfect...
Exceptional staff. Professional, engaging and classy. The food was beyond ...dont miss the scallops or the ceviche. The kitchen cooked them both to perfection. The wine pairings were spot on too. Would fly back just to eat here again.

More of a dive bar atmosphere than anything resembling fine dining. Portions are small and come with a premium price. Atmosphere suited to college students for a night of drinking. If you’re looking for a fine dining seafood experience, pass on this one.
It was my friends 30th birthday and we had surprised her with a cake. The host allowed me to drop the cake off early and they completely set everything up. We were able to completely surprise my friend. Our waitress was very nice. My French was a little rusty and she was able to accommodate.

Reserved seats for 7:30 but the entire reservation system seems to be fake and / or not working. It is an insult to your clients to make them wait for a reserved table (for more than one hour). Organize your restaurant or otherwise why would we wait again? The only reason we waited is since we had already payed for the oyster mania tickets. We say over a dozen people leave before coming in, (some with reservations) because of how bad the system was.
Nous y sommes allés un vendredi soir à l’occasion du festival Oystermania. Il y avait foule et le service était débordé mais très attentionné et aimable.
Les huîtres étaient excellentes accompagnées d’un verre de prosecco. La carte des vins est éclectique et cher, Vieux Montréal oblige. Les assiettes mettaient beaucoup de temps à arriver et nous étions laissés sans même nous servir du pain! Je pense que le pain est devenu démodé mais lorsque le service est débordé, il faut donner quelque chose au client.
Le ceviche de butterfish était excellent. De même leur plat fétiche de pieuvre aux saveurs vaguement espagnoles était bien exécuté et très intéressant. Les gambas n’en étaient pas! C’étaient simplement des crevettes sautées à l’huile (qui ne goûtait pas l’huile d’olive) et dont l’ail était quasi absent.

The waitress told us that we tip her poorly. We gave 15% tip and the service was terrible and the food was unbalanced (way too spicy) and the portions were really small. I should have tip her 1 cent to give her a lesson on how to treat customers.
we had an early supper on a Sunday, so it was pretty quite. The service provided by Ahmed was excellent, chef in the kitchen accommodate our menu to gluten free, The oysters were delicious and the sea bass and grilled octopus and seafood salad was divine. we had Wine to rinse down everything . Enjoy
It was a beautiful experience!! Perry wowed us as per usual. I HIGHLY recommend the octopus, it was mind blowing. Great music, I brought outstanding company, so we had a flavorful experience on so many levels! Thank you

Horrible Service. We were seated and waited 15 minutes and no one ever came to our table. We were not acknowledged, the servers only cared about serving bottle service on the patio. The couple next to us had been waiting even longer for their server to bring their bill. After talking to them about their meal - which they said was just OK and not worth the wait - we left. It was also very loud and was trying to be a club. It’s too bad because the menu looked good and this place has so much potential to be a good restaurant, but they did not seem to care about anyone unless you were drinking bottles. We ended up around the corner and had a fabulous meal elsewhere.
it's kind of a classic tourist trap...… food is not bad but it is expensive and very limited choics… a formula of tapas, old and like a rerun of old recipes …..

We had the rudest waitress and she couldn't care less about any of us.
Overall great experience. Service was excellent, atmosphere was very nice. Food was very good. A little pricey for the portion but worth it overall. Drinks were amazing but more expensive than average. I loved the overall experience and would definitely go back.
It was our fiends birthday and we had a blast !!! The food was delicious ! The waitress was amazing, very friendly, very helpful and funny !

Aussi j’ai eu l’occasion d’y aller un vendredi soir en mode after work c’était génial aussi cocktails très bons et décors super mignon.
Worst service I had in a restaurant in Montreal. The waitress didn’t talk to us all night and I had to get our drinks at the bar by myself because the waitress was useless.
Great food! We ordered ceviche butterfish because I had never had butterfish before, patatas Bravas, croquetas, paella, and octopus but would have been nice to know from server when we ordered that the octopus was served with potatoes since we had ordered patatas bravas as well. Would have liked to start with ceviche but that was served at the end. The service was mediocre but the food was very good. The octopus was so tender!
This place has the best oyster shooters! Must try.

Caesar salad with Halumi was delicious! (and I have had my share of “ok” Caesar salads...)
Gambas was ok - could have used more seasoning - a little more salt even!

For a seafood restaurant, you’d expect more than minced lobster in the lobster roll. The atmosphere on the patio was lovely, but the servers were over-taxed.
I’ve been to this place several times .... but this time I was really disappointed. Went with my boyfriend and immediate family. Felt like this resto became a tourist trap because of its location.
Food was very average and the service was not omg special.
My lobster roll was stale and not very tasty.
Anyhow we are done with it, tons of amazing resto with incredible food! Unless we start hearing that their food has improved Ed we will pass on it!
It’s overrated. The food was ok. We waited so long for the waitress to notice us every time we needed something. I guess because she was a beginner.
If I ever go back it would be for a drink but not for the food that’s for sure.
I travel solo for work quite a bunch so I like a spot where I can sit at the bar and eat and not feel too out of place eating on my own. The bar here worked well enough for that. If I return I will sit on the left hand side instead since behind my seat on the right was an extremely busy corridor to the kitchen. The food was good - I had the seafood paella - and the atmosphere was lively and exactly what I was looking g for that night.
Just the terrace worth a visit at this place. It’s a summer place. Food is average, service is average except for the hostesses who make sure you get a nice table. So it depends what you are looking for. Good in general.
Service is very bad, food is very salty like the name of the restaurant. Will never go back.
We were a party of 6 and never got our main courses. There was a private party and they seriously forgot to bring us any food. Why not close the restaurant on a Saturday night instead of leaving us hungry????
We reserved via OpenTable, where one of the options clearly was "Table" or "Bar" seating. I went with my older aunt, who has knee and back problems, so we clearly requested a table. Upon arrival, the very snotty blonde hostess told us that we'd be at the bar since"they didn't guarantee any table seating". I talked to her manager and she promptly found us a table. Sadly this table was right under a speaker with pretty loud music right above us (this was also 7 PM). I asked the hostess again if we could change seats or if they could lower the volume a tad, which was met with an icy "No...".
Our server, however, saved the night. He was fantastic and understanding. He managed to lower the volume a bit to normal restaurant levels, and was very friendly throughout dinner.
Now, food-wise, I am south american/spanish and I can say that it leaves a lot to be desired. The "Ceviches" are extremely expensive for otherwise 4-5 slices of sashimi (not really a ceviche at all). The paella was salty and soggy. Everything else was overpriced.

We went here during the Grand Prix weekend to enjoy some drinks and food on the patio. It was very busy, but our server was great and attentive. The patio was lovely, and had an energetic atmosphere. But the menu prices were jacked up for Grand Prix, which for a local was pretty annoying knowing that what we ordered was costing us $5 more per item than if we went on a regular weekend! We ordered the ceviche which was very flavourful and tasted great! But they had run out of tortilla chips, and we had to ask to get bread or something with our ceviche. And then it took about 20 minutes for our bread to come! So that was a bit disappointing that they didn’t think ahead and bring the bread with the ceviche. But Overall we enjoyed our meal at SeaSalt!
Food was very very good, however service was slow even though their wasnt a lot of people. Also, we asked the waitress to split our bill a certain way but it was way off & they did not have anymore oysters. Furthermore, the food was too expensive for the portions we got.
