   Wonderful atmosphere on the patio. Visiting from Minneapolis with a group of 6 and this restaurant was a favorite of entire weekend! Tasty drinks and the salmon might be the best I've ever had!

   Food was excellently prepared, tasty and pleasantly presented. The service seemed slow but in fairness they were busy. Our waiter was gracious and unpretentious, made these English-speaking tourists feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend as long as you have time to slow down to enjoy the experience

   it was not a great night. the restaurant was short staffed by at least 10 people. the food took forever. we asked for plates and they were never brought to us. one waiter, i believe the owner was running around trying to do too much. the menu has only 20 items and 5 of them they did not have any more. it got to the point that we needed to walk over to the waiter and get our bill so we can leave. unless they hire more people, you will be frustrated by this restaurant.

   We got the seafood platter for $285 shared between 4 people. Was worth every penny. Could also have been shared between 5 if you get sides. The crab was a little dry but was still good. Everything else on the platter tasted great. Would get again.

    Tourist trap. Service could have been better to help out the overall rating but sadly they seemed not to care. Food was suspect at best, they were out of alot of alot of food items and we were not told upfront. They looked to have a inexperienced bartender helping out who made multiple mistakes making our drinks. Two of our party had to send their drinks back multiple times. This restaurant is a nice place to sit and have a bottle of wine.

    Expectations were high but not met, unfortunately. First off I would never expect a restaurant this highly rated, with dinners exceeding $100 per person to use inexpensive paper napkins!! How cheap can you get. Started dinner with calamari, excellent. Then I had the lobster with what the chef call risotto. However the chef didn’t believe in traditional risotto preparation (or something close) so he added some additional Japanese spices which were”god-awe-full”. Very disappointed. Lobster was cooked perfectly but risotto missed the target by miles. Me wife had the sea bass, which was probably Branzino and it was very well prepared. However the cook experimented, again, with the sauce and vegetables which ruined the flavor. Why would you add a Japanese flavor to these dishes. Sorry but we cannot recommend. Server was great and tried to explain but was unconvinced himself.

    The food was very good. They should work on their portion sizes though. We had to order two main meals each since the portions were too small. And we are really normal eaters. (XS and M, LOL) Gilles did an outstanding job, trying to keep everyone satisfied and everything under control!! Thanks

    An amazing evening out in Montreal. The location is perfect and the space is nicely designed- a blend of Old Town Montreal feeling with a French coastal vibe. Our server was warm and charming, and made us feel very welcome. The oysters (from New Brunswick) were some of the best I've had in a while.

    Food and drinks are amazing, Gilbert is awesome! The seafood plateau was very good, scallops a tiny bit overcook and unfortunately no half portions available for a small appetite. But overall it was an absolutely delicious experience.

    We booked at Seasalt after reading all of the enthusiasm online for the food and service. The restaurant certainly lives up to the reviews. We loved our food, I had the sea bass and my partner had octopus. Wow what a great chef!! Our only complaint is the techno music. It was very hard to talk over and the style didn’t quite match the sophisticated menu and space. In my opinion there would be more people in the restaurant if the sound was adjusted. I mention this because the food is outstanding and deserves a calm space to savor the flavors. Our server was lovely, he made great suggestions, was attentive and professional.

    Foods are tasty but very small quantity for the price. Waiter, waitress are very amateur. We have to wait very very long time for the main dish and when we were served, they were already cold. Another experienced waitress (orner ?) apologized us very nicely, so we appreciated for that. But the waitress for our table seemed really doesn't care. When we asked to fill the water, a waiter filled only mine and ignore my husband's almost empty glass, so we had to ask again. Maybe we were bad timing to be there.... if we served by another persons, we could be happier.... ?

    It took an absurdly long time to get our appetizers (45 minutes), but our waiter, Francis, more than made up for it. Everything we ate was delicious! Apps: crab cake and oysters Mains: lobster risotto and octopus We would definitely return!
