I went with my fiancee and another couple. I had made a reservation but when we arrived the manager on duty couldn't find a place to seat us except the table closest to the bathroom, which is unacceptable. I asked if we could wait for another table and he seemed annoyed by that , however, he directed to sit by the fireplace while we waited. We got a new table after a 10 minute wait, which was fine. Our server was nice but I think he might have been the only one working. He seemed to be rushing us, but wasn't rude about it. Our food was hit and miss. My fiancee and I got the Valentines Tower (oysters, lobster benny and smoked salmon tater waffle) and everything was cold. Obviously the oysters should be and they were delicious, but the cold lobster and shrimp on the benny with the cold avocado made the egg and the hollandaise luke warm and not very pleasant. The tater waffle got cold with the smoked salmon and creme fraiche on top. If the waffle had been hot before the salmon was added, this wouldn't be a problem. Our friends had the steak (which was delicious and perfectly cooked medium rare) and the fried chicken sandwich ( I didn't try it but she really liked it). It took FOREVER to get our bill and by that time we were the only people in the restaurant ( by this time it was 2pm on a Saturday). I probably wouldn't go again and I would tell my friends to proceed with caution. It is weird to me that a seafood restaurant did better with meats.
The service is phenomenal. As a new restaurant, aiming to please, they have done a wonderful job of staffing. And the Spanish ham!
My husband and I frequent Privisons for brunch and love our meals. The staff was great on Fri Jan 31, despite a very busy and hectic dine out evening. The main meal, the hen, was a bit dry; otherwise, the food was marvelous. We will always be happy to return to Provisions.
We started off our brunch with Prosecco suggested by our server. It was perfect. Eggs benny was exceptional as was the gnocchi. The tots were devoured by four ladies and were yummy! Friendly customer next to us had oysters which she said were the largest she's had and really delicious. One more thing to try. We'll be back.
First time at this new local eatery. Not disappointed. Interesting menu and well presented. Went during Happy Hour which was great. Will go again.
The tapas menu is too weird. The same sauce appeared on two different dishes.
A very expensive mistake on our part!
Maybe your raw bar is better.
Will not return.
