    Service very slow. Need more staff. Took 45 minutes to get a drink. Waitress was lovely but I think they are just short staffed.

    To celebrate my husband's 80th and 81st birthdays, we chose Seasons of Bowness because it is our favourite restaurant and always excellent. Staff are friendly and courteous. Dinner selections were more varied than we experienced pre-pandemic, beautifully presented and delicious. Accompanying wine was also delicious. Historic photographs of the building and lagoon displayed on the walls of the disabled washroom are fascinating! As it was a lovely warm May evening we chose to eat on the patio, overlooking the side of the lagoon. This was a little disappointing: we both have back problems, but there was no handrail on the steps down from the restaurant to the patio, making access risky. The seats were very hard until our friendly server found cushions for us. While we accept that patios are normally more rustic than eating in the main restaurant, a little more safety and comfort would be appreciated by diners celebrating with an expensive dinner!

    Very nice place and good variety of menu options. View to the lagoon and inside the beautiful Bowness Park, with the river and paths. Parking. Tables indoors and outdoors. I will go back , excellent atention.

    We arrived and the inside tables were empty except for one couple. The service staff behind the counter had a lot of trouble deciding where they might seat us. It left us feeling awkward, almost that it was unexpected that we were there- even though we had a reservation. It was odd and did not feel welcoming. They were going to seat us right beside the one other couple. My wife suggested perhaps we could sit on the other side of the dining room so as not to intrude on the other couple. That seemed to ensue another big discussion. It was a very unprofessional way to greet and manage the hosting of guests. While this place seems to have much potential, not sure we’ll return. We had guests with us from Victoria … as I said it was really awkward.

    The salads were smaller than before but tasty. The puff pastry from the lemon dessert was tough. We had to get knives I order to cut it. Again the flavour was spot on.

    Lovely ambience at Seasons and our server was attentive and friendly. The wine and food were delicious however the margarita was mediocre. We enjoy Bowness park and value having a great restaurant like Seasons available. Disappointed that the online menu was outdated and some menu items were no longer offered.ie mussels!

    My friends and I were so happy to return to Seasons of Bowness Park. It had been some time since our last visit. The location is beautiful, very special. Our waitress greeted us at the door and took very good care of us in a friendly fashion. Two of us enjoyed the fish and chips, a good sized portion, well cooked, and certainly sufficient for lunch time appetites. Most enjoyable

    The food was very good. My husband found his duck a bit over cooked but the rest of our group really enjoyed everything. Service was SLOW. The manager was completely unaware that it took 15minutes for the server to take our drink order and another hour for food to arrive. I’ve worked in this industry for a long time and the manager should be far more aware of these things - but I just saw them chatting with the hosts who were also not really assisting the servers who seemed to be struggling to keep up. Manager - please take note as I so want this restaurant to succeed. It’s so beautiful!

    Provide paper menus or physical alternative in a restaurant. The QR code option relies on phones and networks. The waiter provided a tablet to however network connection was questionable. Furthermore visual accessibility is important and mobile devices and screens are not helpful.

    It’s a lovely location. Enjoyed being on the patio More umbrellas are needed for shade. . The service was not as good as I thought it would be. The brunch was basic but good. Beverages were great. Would come back.

    I was able to book online very easily and get a reservation for exactly the right time that I wanted.We were greeted and quickly led to our table and received amazing service.The food was outstanding the waitresses checked in often to refill our drinks and they were prompt and bringing the bill. I will definitely return again.

    I love seasons, have been coming for years ! Great food, love the ambiance, especially outside!! The ladies are all great, (didn’t have any men servers today) but they are always great too! Glad spring is here, will walk down for happy hour often! Yay!

    What a wonderful experience. We sat in the shade on the large deck with a beautiful view of the river, geese and ducks. So relaxing and no rush. Excellent fish and homemade chips. We’ll be back soon!

    This is a lovely place to go for a romantic or casual dinner. Our food and service were both outstanding. So nice to sit on the patio, have a relaxing drink, and just watch the goings on in the park!

    Very attentive and pleasant service. However, the menu is not adaptable for people with dietary restrictions. Although I indicated on my reservation that we had guests with dietary restrictions, they were not really available. Great space and location, but ensure your party can all enjoy the menu before you dine here.

    Love this little hidden gem. As with much of Calgary’s fine dinning, the service was subpar for what you would expect, but I imagine this is due to new staff post Covid. Our server was kind, but was lacking in service overall. The kid menu definitely needs to be revised to include items kids will actually eat - the pasta is spicy, the pizza is drizzled with green basil sauce (not a favorite among kids).
