A great change from downtown and casual classy offering. The only minor criticism was they had just changed their menu and the server was somewhat unfamiliar with offerings. The presentation was well done but the portions were slightly less. The wine list is great to see.

Had a most wonderful birthday party for my mother in law on Friday afternoon! Food and drinks were delicious and the service was above par. Took some family photos by the Christmas tree. The scenery is so pretty, the family wants to make Seasons our go to restaurant when we go out for lunch or dinner. If you haven’t tried it you should, it’s a hidden gem in Calgary!

We found the facility and location to be superb. The staff were exemplary and attentive, and the atmosphere very quiet. It has an open, airy feeling with large windows surrounding the dining room overlooking the park and skating area. It was a highly enjoyable experience.

Honestly this is maybe the 10th time we have been to Seasons. I have always thought the food was decent but way over priced for the portion you get. I thought let’s try and go down for happy hour as the prices are a bit better. Well the food was horrible, the portion size was embarrassing. We ordered the beef tartare toast. It was actually dried beef on cold cut baguette not toasted at all. Four small Crustinis. The mussels were the smallest portion for $12 I can’t imagine ever paying $18 for them, they were fishy and flavourless. Truffle fries were delicious though. I find this restaurant to be the biggest upset it has the most beautiful location and ambiance they do not advertise so it’s always dead in there. We were the only ones in there when we went. My husband doesn’t want to ever go back and it’s just so disappointing when there’s so few places on the area and it’s so nice but it’s always an upset when we go. The service was amazing this time other times it’s been really bad the place is dead and yet service is so slow and food takes a long time to get. Such a shame

We always have a great meal at Season’s. if you’re looking for a quiet, quaint dinner there are very few places as good as Season’s. The service was fantastic as always

We loved the ambiance of this restaurant; it was conducive to conversation, and the views were lovely. Also liked that the casual décor encouraged casual dress. The service was excellent. The weak link at Seasons is the food. It did not taste fresh, and the presentation was not appealing. I would recommend it for a light snack, but nor for a full lunch or dinner, as the quality is not worth the price.

A friend and I had lunch on the patio on a sunny but cool fall day. Sitting next to the lagoon made it feel like a special occasion. The food was good, service was friendly but our server seemed overwhelmed and we waited a long time to place our orders. Will definitely return.

Love the location and the food is decent. Wish there were more coffee options. I found the French press coffee to be quite pricey.

A ladies luncheon Seasons was a lovely, quiet place to meet. The food was good, but not the best I’ve had there. However, I would return and try other meals on the menu.

The ambiance is fantastic - a high end restaurant in Bowness Park! I think the location is even better than that of The River Café. I loved the intimate but super-casual decor.

Service was ok, but not great.

We ordered a bottle of 2016 Tinhorn Creek Cabernet Franc. Every red wine fan should add that one to their repertoire.

The charcuterie platter was just right in size for the four of us. I thought the paté was a little bland and the cheeses were rather mundane. The house-made compote was outstanding.

My companions all raved about their main courses: two had the Pork Rack, and one had the Fish Pot. I tried a bit of my wife's pork with the sauce - oh yeah!

I had the Farmers Sausage Ragu. This gets a D- only because it did not actually taste bad and I was hungry enough to eat the whole thing. Now that I have re-read the menu, I think the problem was that the kitchen did not actually add the 'spiced tomato sauce' mentioned on the menu,. Had I thought of that (or had the server noticed,) I would have sent the plate back. As a result, the dish was incredibly bland. To add insult, the pasta was terribly overcooked. My main kitchen tour-de-force are grilled-cheese sandwiches, and I could have done better.

The Swedish Chocolate Cake for dessert was fine, but to me, they were just well-prepared brownies.

I was very disappointed in the food at Seasons. Our group of 10 went to the restaurant on my recommendation. The meatballs were overcooked ad tasteless, the salads were all sub par and the prices were very high considering the quality of food. It is a shame, such a lovely setting and nice restaurant.

You need to expand your beer menu, don't like craft beer, canned beer or draft. Could you include some Canadian beers in bottles or MGD? our server was great food was good.

I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a relaxed meal in a beautiful environment. I can hardly wait to go back and try the brunch menu.

I would not recommend as they are inconsistent. One week I had smoked salmon blt and it was excellent the following week I had the same and it was not smoked and very thin. My friend had as $26 steak sandwich and it had 4 smallish meatball sized pieces of steak. Also the salad dressing had no taste. Tasted like straight oil. The waiter insisted all was good. Later when I called back, the waiter answered and said oh well.

Great ambiance on a summer evening. Service from James was excellent. Menu selection was limited, but that's OK as long as there is something on there you like. The main issue is main course portions. I had the Seafood Broth. To call it a broth would be generous with very little liquid hiding at the bottom of the bowl. About 7 clams was extremely modest to say the least. So while the flavor and spices were an excellent blend, there just wasn't enough. I don't mind paying a premium price for a good meal, but the portions makes the Seasons a poor value for money. It required both an appetizer (good Charcuterie) and dessert (good Pavlova) to make sure I didn't leave hungrier than before I arrived.

The restaurant could really be amazing, as the location is stunning! We were a table of 2, arrived at 7:45pm for our reservation and didn't leave until almost 10pm. It took ages for the food to arrive and the restaurant wasn't busy. The server was friendly and attentive, but I'm not sure what was happening in the kitchen. The food portions were small (but tasty) for the cost and the Crème Brûlée was sad with no crunch on the top. Having spent a fair chunk of change, we left hungry and disappointed in the experience.

The baby gem salad was uncut romaine lettuce, with fried gruyere, bacon and croutons, I thought it could have been more interesting and easier to eat with cut lettuce. The tenderloin was a bit tough. I thought it was overpriced for the quality. The spot is amazing and romantic.

We sat outside on the patio. It was a beautiful warm night which added to the experience. The food was fine, the portion sizes were perfect. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with the food but there was nothing about it that made it outstanding. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. I love the location and will certainly go back, I just hope they can do something to make the food a little more of an impactful experience. We had a great night, I just needed a bit more out of the food to really rave about this restaurant.
