We went there for our recent anniversary. With all the unease about the Covid-19 pandemic, we were looking for something quieter. The Friday we went was very cold with recent snow which also kept people inside. We shared the restaurant with one other couple. With the new snow and lights on the trees around the lagoon, it was very pretty and relaxed. Our server was attentive but not over the top, food was excellent, wine was great as was dessert. We had a very enjoyable evening which was the just the thing in these unusual times.

Sadly although the service was friendly, the food was sub par, chicken underdone with rubbery skin, cold lamb, meal took more than an hour to come from the kitchen. Beautiful location, food could improve.

We had the French onion soup. It was quite good. Also had the beet and kale salad and the artichoke salad. We were recommended to add protein to our salads since we were having them as a meal. It cost $9 each to add chicken or salmon. That was quite expensive. Other than that, it’s a cute place to go on a date and the service was great. Overall we felt that the price $85 for 2 soups and 2 salads was quite steep. Probably won’t be back but thats completely based on the price.

Seasons is a beautiful location and the environment is stunning. BUT....the menu could be so much better.
People are generally looking for quality good tasting food but good value. The portions here are small, they are over priced, and the taste of the food isn’t fantastic. My Quiche was fishy smelling, 😏there was little taste and I wouldn’t order it again.
Bring in good quality food for brunch, lunch and supper that taste fantastic and leave you coming back for more. People want good food that tastes amazing. They will pay for it if the portions and quality is there. This place just Hasn’t been able to deliver. I keep going back because the space and service are fantastic but if the food doesn’t improve it might be my last!!!

Good value and better than average food. Great ambience with fires outside and pairs well with skating.

We made a reservation here for Valentine’s Day, and as our first visit here this was a great impression! Our waiter was excellent, and the food was amazing. Will definitely return here. We were able to go skating on the lagoon before dinner which was also beautiful!

The ambiance and location was great. But the food was mediocre at best and they charged $3 for a tablespoon of jam. Extremely over priced for what it was.

Beautiful dinner and service was exceptional. The arancini and beet salad were delightful. Capped off by lamb shank and Quattro Leches cake made this a meal to remember.

Seasons of Bowness Park is truly a place to come at any Season of the year! It has a very quaint atmosphere inside the restaurant with wonderful views of the pond. We all felt very special as our waitress was very attentive yet not bothersome. Thank you! I really like the food and selection offered. There really is something for every appetite. I recommended the chicken pot pie to my lunch companions. Now they don't have the biggest of appetites, but they ate the whole Chicken pot pie! I would truly recommend the truffle fries....Mmmmm.

We love to dine at Seasons of Bowness Park. It's like a slightly scaled down (less snooty) River Cafe :-) The food is excellent, as is the service and the ambience. The music they pipe in is perfect for a romantic date. It's a very relaxed place. We love the charcuterie board, the lamb, the chicken dishes. Have never had a bad meal there. We find it slightly pricey, but worth it. The only negative I can think of is that the dessert was pretty skimpy for the price. But very tasty. Perhaps they said to themselves: she doesn't need dessert!

Amazing intimate experience! Went for my birthday, with two kids, inlaws, and grandparent. We went skating before dusk, the trees were lined with twinkling lights, and we warmed up by the outdoor firepits.
We then had happy hour drinks, leading to an incredible dinner. We were thrilled with our meals, the wine was terrific, beer on tap was superb. Would highly recommend the restaurant. A hidden gem, with a multi-season appeal.

Seasons of Bowness never disappoints...amazing cocktails (the cranberry Moscow mule is the best around!) and delicious food. If you love French onion soup then you have to try theirs, so, so good!!

The star is for the view and the dessert. The food was too expensive and portions were very small for the price tag. We asked for medium well steaks but got medium rare steaks. They did not even offer to reduce the bill. They actually over charged us, but we were so tired of complaining that we just paid and left. Loud annoying disco music on top of all these. Overall very bad experience. Definitely the first and last time visiting this place.

Hi Sean, Thanks for the feedback. We try our best to accommodate all requests and to assure all guests have a wonderful experience at Seasons. I'm sorry to hear you feel we fell short of this. I believe my team at Seasons went above and beyond to accommodate you during your visit with us on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately OpenTable only allows a maximum of 500 characters for my reply. Such a wonderful little gem of a restaurant! The service, ambiance and decor were outstanding. The food was very good but the desserts were a little disappointing as everything else was so great.
The location and setting would be perfect in any season and I look forward to my next visit. Overall I would give Seasons of Bowness Park 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5.

We consider Seasons of Bowness Park a regular destination and favourite place to eat for its consistently good food, ambience and location. Though the menu is simple, there is always a good variety of options, and the food is fresh.
Whether we visit in the summer, fall, winter or spring, the experience is never a disappointment.

Location is gorgeous, beautiful building and amazing scenery... too bad the actual “restaurant” part is such a let down. Service was very slow, despite there being only a few tables seated on a Saturday night. Our pasta was cold, and took forever to come out. Portions for pasta and deserts were laughably small. Food is definitely not worth the price, despite the gorgeous locale. Will not be returning.

We've never been here before. We quite enjoyed it. We were there for brunch and the ambiance was relaxing and the location is wonderful. I think it would be great for supper especially in winter. The food was really tasty and the portion size was just right.

Service was okay, choice of drinks was fine but quality and quantity of food was poor. Had the Charcuterie and it was not worth half of the money we spent on it. They need to do better.

Beautiful location and the Christmas lights are beautiful! Service was quite good.

I ordered the tenderloin and my son ordered the pork chop.
I ordered my steak medium rare and it arrived blue rare. I sent it back and it came back medium and they did not allow it to rest so my potatoes were covered in blood.
My son’s pork chop was good but it was served with an apple chutney that was extremely bitter. His beans were inedible.

We shared the chocolate dessert and it was very good. There was a second dessert we wanted but they were unable to accommodate no coconut.

Probably not on our list of restaurants to return to.

A great change from downtown and casual classy offering. The only minor criticism was they had just changed their menu and the server was somewhat unfamiliar with offerings. The presentation was well done but the portions were slightly less. The wine list is great to see.

Had a most wonderful birthday party for my mother in law on Friday afternoon! Food and drinks were delicious and the service was above par. Took some family photos by the Christmas tree. The scenery is so pretty, the family wants to make Seasons our go to restaurant when we go out for lunch or dinner. If you haven’t tried it you should, it’s a hidden gem in Calgary!
