   Delicious food and excellent service but no hot drinks. Not even a selection of teas. A kettle and even a few tea options is a must for me at a restaurant as I typically do not drink alcohol and most other options (pop/soft drinks) are loaded with sugar. Aside from that, an excellent experience.

   We were celebrating my birthday, and the food, that we were able to get, was good, however they were out of almost everything we wanted. No charbroiled oysters, only 2 types of oysters at all, no crab claws (so no seafood tower), no whole crab… by the end it was almost laughable if it hadn’t been such a disappointment. Then the waitress told us she was going to comp one of our appetizers as an apology, but then did not and argued when we asked about it. We didn’t ask for the comp, she offered, then acted like we were a problem for asking about what she volunteered. The bourbon pecan pie and the scallop crudo were amazing, if I was ever to go back (which isn’t likely) I would only get the scallops and pie.

   I enjoyed my meals at Peche and Cochon, but each of those experiences waned as the meal went on, usually with a dish that wasn't as good. That didn't happen at Seaworthy. Everything was excellent and well executed, and I also appreciated how the dining area layout allows for normal levels of conversation.

   We checked in with the host and he was very rude for no reason. 3/24/2023 Food was not that great for the money. We had the cauliflower steak. All it was is cauliflower pan fried and topped with yogurt for $27. I guess that’s why they had tons of open dinner reservations the night of. Waitress was fine..

    Love this place!! I'm so thankful to openable for helping me find it. It has something for everyone. There are some items that are Michelen star worthy. Friendly staff and amazing food. Try a variety of apps. You should also oysters. I got my non oyster co-worker to try an oyster and even he enjoyed. The star stopper dish is the bbq fish. I don't remember the exact name. Its an app. So unique. You wont get it anywhere else and it's amazing.

    Probably the worst service we’ve had a very long time. I hate to give this place a lousy review because the food was actually pretty delicious, but it took forever to be seated in a place that was basically quiet during happy hour, and then when we were seated, it took forever For someone to take our order which was two minutes before happy hour ended. Then it took nearly 45 minutes for it doesn’t oysters and an order of shrimp cocktail to come out. It was served with one wedge of lemon, no cocktail sauce, and we had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled. Prices are a bit steep even at happy hour. I won’t be returning. But the food was delicious.

    Absolutely love their food and drinks. Great oyster happy hour! The one thing I don’t love is that they’re never ready to seat you at the time of your reservation and instead of offering we wait at the bar and have a drink, they make you wait out front or in a dark and narrow hallway.

    If not for our waitress, this would have been a 2 star review. We had a reservation for 8:30 and we were told to wait 10 mins but 30 mins later we had still be waiting for the hostess to come get us. Same as the people waiting ahead of us. The hostess was so unfriendly and clearly unhappy to be there but our waitress more than made up for it. She worked her butt of - alone in her section - taking care of everything even when the kitchen was slow getting our orders out together. She was so kind considering the situation. The food was still delicious and we would come back but it was clear that they were not prepared for the number of reservations they had confirmed.

    We were in NOLA and excited to try Seaworthy, the sister restaurant to Grand Banks in NYC we are familiar with . We arrived early for 615 Resv and sat at hi top in the bar . It wasn’t too busy yet but we awkwardly waited 15+ Min for a server to approach us . Our server was nice , friendly , but our drinks took way to long to come out. In fact our raw oysters came out first and we finished them BEFORE our first cocktail arrived from the bar we were literally sitting right next to . Anyway , signature cocktails were good , I had their Gimlet. Next we tried the scallop crudo, Parmesan crusted oysters, both very nice . Next we tried warm trout dip but it had way too much Mayo to enjoy . We left half of it there . Burger and fries were nothing special, but good. I wouldn’t typically order a burger at a seafood place , but I didn’t want a big entree at that point and looked like a lot off ppl were ordering burgers . I wld go back for oysters, during happy hour , a few drinks but not necessarily dinner .

    The food and ambience were great. However, it was a bit expensive. And our server was clearly having some issues. We got everything we needed, and in a timely fashion, but I think it was because other servers were picking up her slack. I have a feeling she won’t be there the next time we dine there. And we will dine there again. Overall, it was a great experience.

    Food took close to an hour to come out of the kitchen. Our server was nice about it, but didn't offer us anything for the delay like a free dessert or a drink. The outside area is in a small alley that opens to the street. About every 10 minutes or so a streetcar rumbles by, making conversation impossible. I ordered the shrimp and grits, there was about a 1/2 cup of grits on my plate for an entree that cost over $25. Left hungry.

    For the price of the food i would not recommend it. Fish and chips was average. Lobster for being $60 was not worth it, and I like a good lobster but that was not it here. The crawfish sandwich was the better thing we had. Took forever to get out drinks. All of our stomachs hurt after. Try other places in NOLA before coming here.

    Food was average quality and over priced. Our waiter was kind but very inexperienced. Another customer’s menu lit on fire from a candle, which made the restaurant smell bad. Instead of giving her a new menu they left the burnt one for her to use, which made it the space continue to smell bad. This is a trendy restaurant lacking in quality of food and service, praying on tourists. There are a million better places to eat in New Orleans that are more affordable, better tasting, with better talent.

    I like hitting this place for a late supper, & it never seems to disappoint. They had a good variety of raw oysters (Gulf, East Coast, West Coast). I favor Gulf, & although they were out of 2 of the 4 offerings, I enjoyed the Murder Point & Cedar Key varieties. Medium size, very tasty. I went with the Seaworthy Roll as my entree, & it was good…I mean, it’s not hard to make something like that, but still satisfying, & I’m glad I ordered it since I hadn’t tried it before. It came with fries, & let me tell you, they were fresh & hot…excellent. It’s like they fried a special batch just for me right before bringing them out. I also had a McKittrick Old Fashioned & that was delicious. It certainly was on the sweeter side, but had plenty of Bourbon so it had some punch to it. The sweetness had me licking my lips so of course I ordered one to go. Been here many times, & I love the ambience & style of the place. Great for a date or even if you’re by yourself & want a satisfying supper, especially if you like eating late like I do. Service was great as it always is.

    Food and drinks were good; however, the server was terrible. She was extremely off-putting, abrupt, unfriendly, and aloof. It seemed like she had just stumbled into her shift from a long night/morning. Her poor service became topic of discussion at the table and kind of distracted from what was meant to be a nice, chill Sunday brunch. And my intention here is not just to complain but to pass this along as constructive feedback seeing as the last time I dined at Seaworthy I had an excellent experience and a very kind, helpful server. I imagine the restaurant holds itself to a higher standard than what I experienced this past visit.

    Unfortunately, the reviews did not match the experience. The restaurant was open 15 minutes late for Sunday brunch and we had a plane to catch. The facility was dirty and there was a mouse that ran in as we entered. We stuck around, hoping that our initial reaction was not Accurate only to have the server use profanity on multiple locations, put in wrong orders for two of our entrées, lead to a 40 minute wait for four people to have lunch, and a very uncomfortable setting.

    This was my first ever experience where the cocktails were so bad they were undrinkable - which hurts when they’re $15 cocktails. Not the waiter’s fault but the bartender / kitchen were incredibly slow. Would not recommend and we actually left to eat dinner elsewhere the experience was so poor.
