This place is top notch. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the options on the menu. The gnocchi was the most pillowy and velvety I’ve ever had. If you’re a non-drinker, they even have non alcoholic Prosecco (and it’s pink!). If you book ahead, try to get a high top table. They are by the windows and tucked away from the main path (which gets crowded and noisy). I’ve been here for brunch too and it’s just as fantastic. Eat here, you will love it.

Good dining experience. A few small items that detracted from the experience were 1) we think it was an employee sitting and chatting at the end of the bar ( closer to kitchen). His dress was such that his jeans were well below his waist, his underwear as visible and his butt crack was clearly showing. Not great from our view point. Literal and figuratively. 2) front end service was very good but it declined as restaurant filled up. Once dinner was served , finished and cleared it was 10 minutes to order dessert 1 Summer Tart. The another 10 minutes to arrive. In fact we paid our bill before dessert arrived. This was a first for us and again detracted from the experience. That sense of “ we served you dinner now time to move along for the next”. Good food just not very polished for a finer dining experience.

If you're having any doubts of whether you should be heading out to Secco for dinner, doubt no longer. Quite easily the best meal we've had since moving to Hamilton just over two years ago. We each got a flight of prosecco and our servers provided us with great tasting notes and a brief backgrounder on each glass. After that, we split four small plates and if you can get to Secco before they change the menu over at the end of September, you need to get the Roasted Scallops. Stunning presentation with a taste to match. Finally, on top of the food and drink being excellent, the service was top notch from beginning to end. What a treat!

Secco is our go to special occasion. The food is beyond fantastic, there is excellent service and a it is a stimulating environment. This establishment know its food, makes everything fresh and accommodates vegan and gluten free options without compromising on quality. Added bonus, great cocktails with an experienced bartender.

We had a great time! The food was amazing the staff was very attentive. The only downside was the noise level, my partner and I where sitting across from one another and could barley hear each other I know I sound old af but it’s a restaurant I want to be able to talk without shouting.

Such a phenomenal experience - vibe was amazing, food was incredible, service was perfect. I dropped a knife and I swear our server replaced it before I could fully pick it off the ground. Had a birthday here and they made me feel so special - 10/10 would recommend.

Nice spot for a cocktail or various shareable plates. We sat at the bar, and after about an hour, the seats tend to get uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great.
