We made a reservation for 10 not realizing the place is small and we basically had the entire cafe! So the kitchen was a little overwhelmed with all 10 of us ordering at once. But the food was very good and the service excellent. A nice little find. We will go back with a smaller party next time!

The restaurant sounds interesting. We went to try their brunch and ordered their veggie burger and perogies. Both dishes are very delicious and farm fresh.

The burger costs $28 but it actually comes with 2 patties which patrons have no idea. The hallomi cheese inside the patties are the most delicious that we ever tasted. Most hallomi is over-salted.

Will definitely be back if we are in the area.

Secret Lands Farm is a wonderful little find. It really is quite tiny so if you want to sit down give them a call or reserve a table to ensure there is room for you. The origins of the restaurant ( family tragedy, new immigrants to Canada) are compelling enough, but they really have created a very unique experience focused on organic products from their sheep farm and/or other local farmers and producers. The menu is not huge, but it is well done. I would certainly recommend as a starter the cheese board; this gives you a wonderful introduction to the various types of cheese ( all from sheep's milk) that are produced. The lamb burger was excellent as well. Being quite tiny, the service was excellent and friendly. A little unsure of exactly what white wine ( all from Niagara, keeping with the local theme) was available by the glass, the server pulled the various bottles out of the fridge and set them on the counter for us to peruse....it was very cute and just felt like a genuine effort to ensure we got what we wanted.
Secret Lands is also a retail store selling their cheeses, baked goods ( some made there, others brought in). We took home a jar of the sheeps milk kefir....outstanding !
I'd give it a try-- we had a fun night there.

This place is a tiny hidden gem! I highly recommend this spot to anyone who is trying to eat and shop sustainably within the city. The quality of the food is incredible and the staff went above and beyond, giving us samples, helping us pick out items on the menu and just generally being awesome.
