Located in the heart of the emerging East Cobb neighborhood dining scene, Seed Kitchen & Bar combines a modern playful approach to American cuisine in an atmosphere as casual as it is stylish. The seasonal menu reflects the ingredients and hard work of local farmers and artisans whenever possible, in combination with an uncompromising pursuit of quality, all beautifully presented.                                                                               We sat on the newly renovated patio for a birthday lunch. Our food was delicious and the server was attentive. Consistently good, this is our go-to restaurant in the area.

                                                                              Seed is always excellent but it’s the little things that count- we were celebrating a birthday dinner and the staff was so attentive, kind and we loved the personalized menus and desserts that came out. Thank you for a beautiful night out!

                                                                              Restaurant was very busy with it being a Friday night, but service was unusually slow. Server made a few errors, but was very apologetic. Overall still a good experience. We will always return to Seed for date night.

                                                                              Made reservation for 6 pm. When we arrived, we were given the worst table in the restaurant. When I asked the hostess to switch, and the restaurant was still empty, she said very rudely that all the other tables were spoken for. I told her that there was no way we were going to sit in that space she gave us. After a few minutes of discussing the issue with her manager, we were finally assigned a batter table. The check-in experience really soured us for the rest of the evening. We did the prix fixe menu. Taylor, our waitress, was excellent and really salvaged the evening. Food was average. Always wanted to try this place as we heard good things about it. Probably won’t be back as they are better value for your money in town in my opinion, and more importantly better check-in process.

                                                                              Trout was generous and excellent. The accompanying sauce was also excellent. The bourguignon was slightly oversalted at first (maybe a double shot of salt or a heavy hand at the pass?), but it settled down into an excellent dish. Oysters were not as good as they usually are, but I don't think the restaurant is to blame.
