Really good gluten free options. Had the option of gluten free penne or spaghetti noodles. We had the maple scallop starter and, while it is a good dish, it's been on the menu too long. I honestly don't want to eat it again. Butter poached lobster on risotto wasn't as good as I had hoped. The lobster was tough and over cooked. The creamy seafood penne was great. It was a very nice sized potion and the flavours were fantastic. It is our "go to" restaurant, but I wish the menu would grow and change more often. Still, it's one of, if not the best, in Thunder Bay.

Business lunch was great - the tables are arranged well for private conversation at a booth or open for meeting others. Food was perfect with great taste and many options to choose from. Service was not slow and not rushed...well timed. I'll be back!

VERY attentive staff, right from the making the reservation, to being greeting upon arrival, and being attended to throughout dinner. Staff are very 'customer-focussed', friendly, knowledgeable, competent ... answered all questions, and made excellent recommendations re: wine & food. We missed the 'complimentary bread & garlic', as it has been a long standing tradition. Overall GREAT experience! Will return!

Amazing food and excellent service! This was our first time at Seler and we will be returning. The atmosphere was very inviting and intimate. The food was beyond delicious and had wonderful presentation. The service was impeccable! We will be back!

Our server was amazing. Some long drink times but they took care of one of our drinks even though we didn’t complain, it was very nice they were proactive about it. Great experience, friendly, nice, delicious food.

When at the others that the Seler I had the braised beef and had mashed potatoes and it was a much better presentation for $42 than what I got last night was a bit disappointed. I don’t need fingerling potatoes I can make them myself otherwise everything else was great.

4 appetizers cooked to perfection. Subtle flavours with delicious outcomes. Maple scallops, rich tomato with Smokey undertones shrimp, creamy rich arinccini and tender pork belly and apple fennel slaw. Filet mignonette so tender no need for knife and lobster risotto was rich and creamy with smoky tomato and red peppers flavours. Will be a repeat customer

The ambience back in 2015 was way better. The music tried to drown out this loud fridge or fan noise or whatever it was - it was annoying. Service was good. But if your interested in a better seating area. Call ahead. No bread at the beginning either.

Had the tuna tartar and my wife enjoyed that, I had Caesar salad and it was dry, no flavour or seasoning. I had short ribs and they were hot, the lamb came to the table RAW!! Then the redo came out grilled and cooked in sauce. Not okay for the price we paid for dinner. Our server was stellar tho.

Our waiter was excellent and very knowledgeable about the menu. Sorry though I can’t remember her name. The food was really good too! And I loved the blueberry mojito! My only minor complaint, would be our table. Very direct to the entrance.

This was our first visit to Seler, we have previously gone to Bistro One over the years. Service and food and atmosphere were impeccable. Everything was top notch. A must to visit. We will definitely be back!

It felt very unorganized. When we arrived there was no one to greet us or welcome us , we had to find someone to let them know we were there . We had to begin our meal at the bar then move to our table would have been nice to not have to move . food was ok . My fillet mignon tasted like a lump of bloody meat it was very bland It was not peppercorn crusted . I would have mentioned it to our server but she didn’t return to ask us how everything was . For the price we paid for our meals I’m quite disappointed with the whole experience .
