Truly, an amazing restaurant all-round! From the beyond delicious meals, to their lovely presentation, the 5-star service and the cozy European ambience, it couldn't have been better! Thank you for preparing the gorgeous and delicious, dessert tray for my son's 30th birthday celebration! We had a lovely evening! Looking forward to our next visit! Bravo!!

Fantastic service from when we walked in till we left - had some rather loud guests right next to us that were slightly distracting but that is the luck of the draw in a restaurant. We will be back - from Cafe Roma on the shore till now the family has always delivered great food - thanks for another great memory…

My friend and I shared the Tropical Salad, which was fresh and excellent, and we both ordered the Shellfish Risotto. The food was very exceptional, high-level Italian, with beautiful presentation. We saw on the patio on a slightly cooler day, and blankets were offered to cover our shoulders. Our servers were both professional and attentive. We will definitely return in the near future! Thank you, Culinary Team at Sempre Uno! 👍🙏

First time here, I’ve been waiting for it to open and definitely worth it. Great service, delicious food, a great selection of Italian wines and i even had desert which isnt normal. Great size portions, great value. Recommended.

The service was not as attentive as I thought it should be. For example, we were finished our coffees before dessert arrived. Long gaps before order being take. Server was very nice. Food was very good.

This was my first visit to your restaurant. I decided to bring a good friend visiting from The Netherlands to celebrate her last evening in Vancouver. We both enjoyed the. Menu choices and definitely enjoy our lovely meals. I will definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely meal, unfortunately we did not try a dessert so will look forward to that next time.

This experience was outstanding! The lunch menu was one that I would have written if I could have chosen my favourite ingredients. Things were perfectly fresh and exquisitely presented. Service was warm, friendly, and competent. Combine all this with a seaside patio setting. What more could you ask for? I will certainly go back!

We’ve been enjoying here since they’ve first opened. Attention to details from all of their staff and their hospitality made the entire dining experience memorable. The new patio merging the understated yet sophisticated quiet luxury interior together without the pretentious atmosphere. We had a positive previous experience dining at the restaurant so we thought we’d celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary there. When we were seated, our server brought us a glass each of a very nice prosecco -nice touch! I ordered another one! Our food was very good. My chicken in a lemon caper sauce entree was very delicious and it was a good size portion. My husband’s veal in wild mushroom sauce dish was also very good. The only fault we could find were the tomatoes in my husband’s caprese salad could have been riper and the peaches in their special salad I ordered —burrata/arugula salad were also not ripe enough. Otherwise, the service couldn’t have been better —I liked the music too— a bit smaltzy but fun —Sinatra and some great Italian hits and others from the sixties! The interior is clean Italian—simple, neutral colour and comfortable. You can tell they invested some money in the decor—great addition to North Shore restaurant choices and right across from the Polygon Gallery and access to transit and the seabus—

Our dining experience was great. The host told us there was valet parking but when we arrived there was no valet parking. Service is ok but you can tell is a new restaurant. Waiters/waitresses are not train enough. They can improve in this area. Overall it was a great evening.

This was our first visit to Sempre Uno since it opened. We had dined at Gusto di Quattro several times prior to the restaurant renovation so we were curious to compare the before and after. Sempre Uno exceeded our expectations! The food, service and the ambience were top notch. Highly recommended.

Our experience was amazing! The host was communicative and let us know there was valet before our arrival. Service was so smooth, food beautifully presented, seasonal and delicious. We sat outside. The vibe was beautiful, a little traffic but when the awning is up. Great privacy and great people watching! Upscale but not stuffy.

We split a peach burrata arugula salad which was tasty however it was diminished by the burrata which was firm and dry - not creamy. I had the bolognese pasta which I found to be excellent, and my wife had one of the many pasta specials with prawns and corn, which could have used a touch more sauce. The tiramisu cannoli for desert was a bit disappointing with a very hard shell - difficult to manage with a fork, but the tiramisu filling was good. While the service was excellent, it was apparent that our server could benefit from a little more knowledge of the menu and the plethora of specials on the menu (perhaps a pared down menu is something Sempre Uno should consider). Over all we enjoyed the decor and tasty offerings and would definitely go back.

We had the most delicious meals and the location was perfect to walk around after dinner. My husband had the duck entree and I had the lamb entree, both were absolutely delicious and served with tasty veggies as well. The 'gem' salad was also tasty, we shared it and they brought out two plates and serving tongs to make it easy. The wine suggestions were a good match with our meals. The outdoor seating is nice and clean. I would go back again.
