In 2008, they opened Brasserie Cognac in the Theater District where Chef Florian V. Hugo, a great-great-great grandson of poet Victor Hugo, serves fine French cuisine. Vittorio and Fabio energetically guarantee comfort, excitement and fabulous food at every location!

It was just okay. The food was good but service was just alright. We had a lot of empty glasses that needed water. I was also pretty upset that they didn’t tell us soda wasn’t free refills. It would have been really nice to know that. I blame that on our waiter because it seemed like he was no where to be found half of the dinner.
Pizza was excellent.
Ate outdoors so noise level was higher. Especially liked the foccacia dessert
Yesterday was slow to get the food from time of order to deliver to the table. Other than that, it was good.
Food here is delicious. Service was a tiny bit slow but super friendly and it was a very busy lunch period. Prices have gone up since the pandemic. Still, a really good friendly place where you know you'll get good food. Also, ate outside so flying insects here and there. Not sure how to deal with that.
service and food were fine, i was attacked by mosquitoes though so was v uncomfortable outside. otherwise it was fine.
I've only eaten at Serafina 105 once for dinner, when my broccoli rabe side dish was too salty. I preferred my brunch experience, particularly the food and service.
Nice professional staff. Accommodating of my diet special requests.
They were very accommodating. I made a reservation and in error I made it for the wrong Serafina location. The hostess was very understanding and seated us promptly. The food and service were top notch.
Never disappointed here…staff is always so accommodating and professional. Always a delicious experience
They should have
Food was pretty good & reasonably priced! The inside was totally empty on a weekend so that was nice (outside dining was busy). Attentive staff :)
Excellent food and service and a lovely outdoor area.
The host didn’t realize we were waiting at the door. Our server was inattentive. The food we ordered took a long time and was very bland. The drinks were just ok.
Wonderful attentive staff, food good (grilled bronzino fish a bit dry) ambiance pleasant on a block that has a welcome celebratory atmosphere, colored lights down the street.
Had the Brunch Bruschetta, which was superb - except that the toast was over-toasted to the degree that even a steak knife (which I needed to request) had a very hard time cutting it into pieces!
Passed a board exam
Quality of food was very average. Salad dressing bland
5* Great dinner. Still thinking about the great pizza and pasta I had
I normally don’t write reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience at Serafina today. I took my boyfriend out for a Birthday lunch, and we had the best time. From the moment we walked in the hostess was so warm and inviting, and the waiter took great care of us. We started with the prosciutto and burrata, which was so creamy and delicious, as well as the truffle pasta and gnocchi, which was heavenly. It reminded me of what I had in Italy a few years back. We had a nice glass of red wine and finished with some cheesecake, which was so tasty.
Serafina to me is one of those places that you can go for any occasion and you won’t be disappointed. In general I think it’s a great for family/friends get together based on the portion sizes and ambiance.
The host spilt wine all over my dress and didn’t even notice until I pointed no out. The manager came over much later and was arrogant and told me that mistakes happen. She apologised but offered me nothing more. It was embarrassing in front of our guests who we took to lunch. This experience ruined my lunch and I will never go back to this location.
The gelato and pizza were great. However, the pasta was bland and lacked flavour (we ordered penne a la vodka and spaghetti carbonara). The service was also slow and our waiter was inattentive. We had to wait forever for our check despite trying to waive him down to us.
This was my first time dining at Serafina 105, and I had the most wonderful experience. The dining room is beautiful and very welcoming. The mista salad was excellent. The homemade fettucine with tomato cream sauce was out of this world. And the tiramisu was nothing short of phenomenal. I can't wait to go back for another amazing meal.
I have been here before and will return again. The food is delicious and the staff very accommodating.
We really enjoyed a recent meal in the outdoor seating area of Serafina 105. Service was prompt and good. The food was very tasty, though pasta dishes were a little on the heavy side. The meatballs, bruschetta, and the buratta appetizers were very good. Eating on most NYC sidewalks can be noisy, but it wasn't too bad (it was a Tuesday evening). Serving sizes were healthy, so the fact that we had leftovers for lunch is appreciated.
We ate outside. The ambiance, food, and service were excellent!
The people and the food was great
Always a pleasant experience at Serafina 105. Prices are fare and food is nicely prepared.
The service is excellent and servers always ready to be friendly and helpful. One of the best choices on UWS for a affordable lunch or dinner. Outdoor service is comfortable and nicely designed.
Large portions, beautifully cooked. Familiar Italian cuisine cooked in a new way
From staff to ambiance to food 5 stars!!!
Kind of a bland experience. Service was not bad but nobody took charge of our table as our server. When it was time for a check, I didn't know who to ask. I like to relate to a server who is responsible for taking care of you. Food was OK. Nice big salad. Pizzas were a bit under-baked, so the middle of the crust was soggy from the beginning. Mushrooms were under cooked too, so they were rubbery. The affordable section of the wine list is pretty limited. So, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly good either.
It was a sweat box inside. No AC
Was nice to have both brunch and dinner options available (on Sat PM). Service was great.
I hosted a small (8 people) birthday party for my wife and the manager was exceptionally accommodating helping to make the evening a great success.
We were visiting Serafina 105 for a birthday celebration. We live in the neighborhood and have dined at numerous Serafina locations, including other states and Puerto Rico. This was the WORST Serafina experience we have ever had. Our server was grossly inattentive. He was impatient when we wanted to order drinks and appetizers before the main course. We did not receive our drinks until the appetizers dropped. He also told us there was no bread in the middle of dinner service, even while other tables were served bread. When our main courses came, we asked for pepper and Parmesan for the pasta which the server did not bring until our meals were nearly completed. After we finished our mains, the server dropped the check and did not give us coffee/dessert menus for a birthday dinner!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! There are lots of Italian options on the UWS that offer impeccable service and foster a full dining experience. Serafina 105 is NOT one of them.
The people where friendly
We had a wonderful time celebrating my mothers b-day, everything was great!
Took friends with us to "Opera Night." They loved it and will return on their own.
