   Had some high expectations that I wish it lived up to. The portions were small got the calamari got more veggies than calamari. The mushroom pasta was good small portions again loved the sauce. The half chicken was portioned lovely and the legs were tender and had a nice crunchy skin. The breast was sadly dry and lacked any seasoning it would’ve been nice if they had a nice sauce on the side the oil given wasn’t enough of a wow factor to change taste of chicken.

   Nice rooftop atmosphere. White wine is not chilled appropriately and draft beer is warm. Food is good but not outstanding.

    Unfortunately it was so disappointed. Short menu. High price. Low portions. Nothing special on the flavor. No protein on the pastas and they don’t accept sides of proteins 💔 We ordered the Calamari and came with 6 units of calamaris and the rest was fried onions 😫 The primavera salad came so poorly and over dressing.     Fantastic tucked away place. Service beyond expectations and so casual and friendly. Summer I'm sure it will get a bit steamy in the heat of the day but fans and foliage cover helps. Definitely a do not miss destination

    I was very disappointed in my dinner at Serra by Birreria. The food was mediocre at best. The pasta dish was especially disappointing. There is a big bar scene and the music was loud and grating (more appropriate for a bar than for dinner). I would not recommend this restaurant and would rather eat in one of the restaurants within Eataly.

    Honestly just have the pasta downstairs at the bar. Much better. We ate at Serra and we’re still hungry so we went downstairs and ate more. Limited menu. Food wasn’t great. Service took awhile.

    Took a friend from out of town here to celebrate her graduation. We had a lovely time shared three dishes and dessert. She is sober so it was nice that the mocktails felt like a fancy drink even with no alocohol. It's very busy but you can still have a convo with your party.

    The place is very beautiful. Food is not that great for the price. We ordered a steak and it was the smallest steak I ever seen. Cost $40/- and nothing came with it. Not worth it at all. Over roll it’s a nice place but very pricey and food is not that great.

    We celebrated a birthday with a luncheon at Eataly. It was a wonderful experience. The rooftop is beautifully decorated with flowers. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. The only negative I would mention is that when I made the reservation I was asked if this was for a special occasion and I stated that we were celebrating a birthday. When we checked in, the hostess asked who's birthday it was and said "Happy Birthday". But it would have been nice if something had been brought to the table, such as one piece of cake to share. This restaurant is a bit of a splurge so I thought they should have offered something. Also, the elevator to the roof was out of order and we had to walk up two flights of stairs which was difficult for someone in our party.

    Restaurant was very busy. Waiter was not pleasant at all and was pretty overwhelmed. We did not enjoy our birthday dinner. I was trying my best to be friendly to waiter and warming him up. (maybe he had too many tables to attend) The manager was super nice and made our last 30 min very enjoyable.

    Food is outstanding, Unfortunately the tap was broken. The hostess was not very welcoming. Service at the table was OK. Some of the staff was above average for the quality of service.     this is by far my favorite restaurant and they absolutely kill it every season. their drink, food, and dessert menus are all carefully selected and everything always tastes amazing. the arancini, pappardelle and blood orange gelato were favorites this season!! also, their latte is literally amazing and i’ve never had a better one anywhere. literally obsessed with Serra.

    Food was good, service not good. I don't appreciate that when I pointed out that I had not ordered the escarole salad served to me that the waiter's first move was to go get the menu and point to the salad I ordered. He was trying to show me that I HAD ordered it. Here's the funny and pathetic part: if he had only read what he was pointing to, he would have seen it was the artichoke salad, NOT the escarole salad. I pointed that out, nicely, and he fetched the artichoke salad. Hint to staff: when there is even a possibility you goofed, don't let your first move be to disprove the customer. Just apologize and get them what they want. I don't mind an honest mistake. We all make them. But I do mind a waiter trying to show me up without even reading or checking to make sure he knew what he was talking about. It would have been nice if he had come by with fresh pepper grinder and fresh grated cheese without us having to ask. And he forgot to ask my husband if he wanted a second beer. By that time, we had given up. As for ambiance, it's not as nice as it is in the photos. I didn't feel like I was actually outside. And the fake flowers all over the place weren't the nicest touch. A smaller amount of fresh flowers or fresh greenery would have been nicer. We won't go back.

    The staff was attentive and friendly and the decor was colorful and whimsical. Even the menus coordinated with the faux flowers and leaves hanging from the ceiling. Enjoyed ourselves immensely.
