Pretty place, good food, insanely loud. Like eating in a disco where you have to strain to hear your companion and talk above the din. Why???? Why must restaurants ruin the experience with deafening music? I don’t get it.

Food was absolutely spectacular. Both my friend and I cleared off every last bit of food on the plate! Ambience was lovely - the floral pieces hanging from the ceiling created a wonderful atmosphere; and the lights they turned on once it got darker was an extra little touch. Near the end of the meal (closer to 8pm) it did start getting a bit louder so had to raise my voice more to speak, but nothing unmanageable or above the ordinary expectations of a NYC restaurant at night. Will 10/10 be returning!

My chicken came out undercooked. The waiter took it away, apologized, brought back a new dish, and didn’t charge me for the dish. I thought that was great service. Overall it took too long though. We were there over an hour before our food hit the table.

The roof top is nice, great decor and vibe but the food was a let down, very bland in flavour. Taste didn’t meet the amount spent. Other then that waiter and table were nice

Honestly I wasn't sure who our waiter was, they were not around much and we had tons of different food runners. I did not feel the service was very attentive. We were a large party of 8 for a work event. I will say the host was very nice in accommodating us on the phone. Food was good and I would go back but hope for a more luxe experience on service.

Server didn’t really talk about the menu at all. Just asked what we wanted. The gnocchi weren’t hand made and generic. The antipasti and the bone marrow butter were sensational. The chicken scallopini was something I could make at home and not fun at all, thought it was gonna be breaded. 6/10

Our service was slow and the food ranged from awful (some radicchio salad thing that was all stalks, no flavor), to average (hanger steak). The bread was solid? I guess that was the most redeeming quality. For a few minutes we joked that we might be ghosts because no one even looked at us, checked in, cleared anything for about 30 minutes after we finished our entrees. I've been here multiple times, but this is the worst it's ever been - definitely won't be coming back anytime soon.

Service was excellent, as well as the cocktails. The calamari appetizer was slightly over cooked. The papardelle entree needed a little salt— but no salt or pepper on the table. Fresh parmesan or parmigiana reggiano would have been nice but was not offered. Dessert was great. Atmosphere is incredible.

It was just okay and nothing special. The restaurant seems a bit dated, and is more of a tourist attraction. Service and attention was alright a nothing that special on the menu. I think visiting Eatily is amazing, but would reconsider eating at this restaurant.

I'm sorry to say that our experience was a disappointment. Our reservation was for a party of 4 at 5:15 pm, but we were not seated until 5:30 pm, despite our repeated explanations that we needed to depart the restaurant at 6:30 pm for the theater. There was a DJ playing loud house music, which made conversation at our table nearly impossible. Our waiter introduced himself quickly - we explained our need to order quickly - and then he disappeared for 15 minutes. He was also quite delayed with our drink orders. Because of the delays, we thought it best to order only appetizers and no main course dishes. The food was good, but the whole experience was stressful.
