The Seven Stars is a 16th century country inn situated in the heart of Surrey, close to both Dorking and Reigate, with Gatwick airport seven miles away. It has wealth of character which includes a large inglenook fireplace, beamed ceilings, recently renovated gardens and patios along with ample parking.
An extension that now forms the main dining area was completed in 1996 and won the British Heritage Development Award for that year.
The Seven Stars has a great atmosphere, we have strived to keep it a village pub where friends and locals meet up to wine, dine and and enjoy freshly cooked food, sourced from the local area. We also pride ourselves on our Gluten Free and Vegan options

What a lovely pub in a beautiful area and the food is delicious. I went there with my sister and we both decided to go back again. Really friendly staff too. Just can't fault this pub in any way.

I booked a table for lunch with my sister. I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were professional and attentive; the food was outstanding, well prepared and presented. I will come back in the near future. I would recommend the Seven Stars inn to family and friends

The food and service is always consistently good. Your Sunday lunch is my favourite with a great choice of veg and massive Yorkshire pudding! Plus love the corgi & queen salt and pepper pots - shame you don't sell these.

Lovely, friendly atmosphere, good choice of music at a perfect volume. Food was excellent, coffee piping hot in a thermos cup - nice touch I hate warm coffee. Service was great. We'll go back.

Excellent offering . Clear parking - Lovely homely and friendly atmosphere. The Team were all working seamlessly together . The menu was top class and we were spoilt for choice of a few gorgeous starts, mains and deserts . We went for the Calamari and Ham Hock terrine, followed by Sea Bass and Hungarian Goulage. Both were excellent. The dessert we chose was the fruit topped crème brûlée which had a very creamy texture. Good quality house wines - Rose and Merlot both top shelve.

I don’t usually like a Sunday lunch out as nothing beats a home cooked roast dinner … normally. However, the roast dinner we had here Sunday gone was 5*!! Beautiful to eat, presented well and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will be returning and highly recommend everyone else to give it a try!!

Roast dinner was amazing and couldn't of asked for more, great value for money and left you feeling happy. Carrot cake was a little disappointing not nasty by any means just not up to the standards of the roast

Great Sunday lunch and excellent service too. Always a friendly and great pub either just for a drink or a meal. Roast dinner was very good. Sat at the oval table for 6 and it’s always nice to have a more rounded table for groups rather than rectangular. As we now live up the road, this was our 3rd visit and we will be back soon. We always recommend the Seven Stars to others as well.

The food was really tasty. So many places have reduced portions and cut back recently, but not this pub. I had fresh plaice = delicious. Others raved about the fish and chips and the pork belly. Starters and puddings were very good too. The service was great, attentive, friendly and they went the extra mile saving us a space inside in case it rained. The best meal I’ve had in ages.

We had the best cod and chips we’ve ever had, the cod was beautiful and the batter nice and light! Crème brûlée for pud was to die for so delicious, can’t wait to go again! Staff were very attentive too 🤗

Perfect evening. A catch up with a friend during a meal. We both ordered different meals and it was all excellent as was the service. A lovely pub/restaurant. Shame about the weather as the garden and patio area looked good too!

An absolute credit to all. We had 5 different dishes and all were absolutely spot on. I personally had the fish and chips, a dish I have had at many a pub without complaint but nothing compares to what I had at the 7 stars. The fish was whiter than white, piping hot and cooked to perfection.

Recomended to try Sunday lunch at the "Stars", absolutely spot on! Great food along with helpful and knowledgeable staff. The wine menu didn't disappoint either. Will defiantly be returning on a regular basis. A great find.

A pleasant evening in a lovely od english inn. Unfortunately they were short of staff and service was slow. The wine list seemed to bear no relationship to the contents of the cellar - English sparkling substituted for Tattinger champange and Romanian rathe than French Pinot Noir.....
