There is no way that they are serving “fresh pasta’ as advertised in the menu. It was very obviously boxed/dried pasta. Had higher expectations based on all the reviews. Service was very good and ambiance as well, they just whiffed on both my and my wife’s pasta dishes

It is a mom and pop restaurant. We went for AZ Restaurant week. One of the owners was making the rounds to each table to talk to the diners. Really nice personal touch. Everything is homemade using very fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the eggplant rollatini. Outstanding! We had pene two different ways. The cheese and meat boards were very popular. Heard a buzz from a nearby table. Although it’s quite a drive for us from south Chandler we will be back. Need to try pizza and other dishes.

Pollo Picatta was extremely tasty with lots of lemon and butter. Side of spaghetti added to deliciousness of entree. Salads frest as always.Cannoli was the best. Very attentive servers.

My husband and I had the veggie pizza, but added pepperoni. It was delicious. We also shared the specialty salad. Also, very good. Our server was outstanding. We have been here twice and plan to return again.

Went with my family. I wanted a small portion of spaghetti and was told I could not get this. Truffle garlic bread did not have any truffle taste to it. My daughters pasta was very ordinary and my husband’s was a little better. Staff was attentive, but a bit rude.

Those in my party said the food was bland. All ordered something different - bruschetta, pasta, lasagna, and a salad. Wish there was a spinach salad offering. Service was outstanding. All were attentive, professional, kind, and working in tandem.

A hidden gem. I was initially put off by the small tables and cramped space. However I was pleasantly surprised once the food arrived. Our appetizers and main dishes were excellent. The pasta was freshly made and reminded me of great Italian food from NYC.

This would have been a 4 or 5 star review. The issue... We had a table for 4 at 5:15. Happy hour runs til 6 :00 and is served only at the bar. There was one person at the bar and noone at tables in the restaurant at that time. With 4 people, that bar is not condusive to talking .... so we asked if we could at least get our drinks or something off the happy hour menu, because we couldn't sit at the bar and chat. The staff, although very kind, declined us. So...instead of $6 we had to pay $12 for a cocktail. Our waitress was great, our food was great, the staff was nice. It's just a ridiculous policy when literally there was noone else in the restaurant at the time. How hard would it have been to say, "sure, order your drink at the bar and just sit down where you can chat."

It was so refreshing to find happy hour with wonderful selections of delicious food and incredible service on a Sunday! If you were going to see a show at the MIM this is the perfect place to stop for dinner beforehand.

Although the restaurant is quite noisy, the food and atmosphere are great. We had an excellent waitress who really knew the menu and gave us good advice about what to order. Also, if you want something cooked to your specifications they will do that. For example I wanted a marinara sauce instead of a cream sauce. Most of the pastas are homemade and delicious.

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The chicken piccata was excellent. My friends enjoyed the gnocchi and small plate eggplant dish. Although we did not order the pizza, the one at the next table looked beautiful. I am sure it tasted as good as it looked.

We were 4 last night for dinner. Pizza as appetizer was wonderful, better than Bianco. All the entrees were great, seafood pasta , chicken parm, short rib rigatoni. Service was spot on and nice to be able to get a Super Tuscan by the glass. The only downside is that it's a 45 minute drive, but we will do it again.

Tables are all too small. We had a group of 4 and had to hold our sakad plates so they would not fall off when entrees arrived. Staff over worked the table, by trying to remove plates and glasses before you were done with them. Food and drinks were good. But staff needs to relax abot.

We had an excellent pizza for lunch recently; therefore, we decided to return for dinner. We were impressed. The meatball appetizer was unexpectedly good! The bolognese sauce on the lasagna and tagliatelle was excellent. The home made tagliatelle was, however, coarser and thicker than anticipated. The limoncello cake and limoncello drinks are worth a detour to find the Sfizio Modern Italian Kitchen. We will definitely return for both lunch and dinner.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. They offer nice wine options. Waitstaff was courteous but service was VERY rushed (seemed unnecessary on a fairly quiet Sunday night). Another note: the tables are too small!!! 4-top table was crowded with 3 cocktails and 4 wine glasses, and 4 waters (before any food arrived) and became almost impossible almost impossible with a wine bottle, 2 appetizers and 4 small plates on the table:-/ Would definitely go back for the food but not to dine at an impossibly cramped table with rushed service.
