    Busy place on a beautiful, warm, sunny September afternoon. Although we arrived on time for our reservation, we had to wait for someone to great us and show us to our table. Understandably because they were so busy, but disappointing. Cider products were very tasty and a return visit has already been discussed!

    This was not any of our first time to Shale Ridge. They have expanded greatly over the numerous times we have been there, which is great to see. This time around, we paid $21 in advance for 4 people to reserve a swing table. We figured this came with a small glass of cider on arrival to welcome us. It was unfortunately exclusively to reserve the table. It’s pretty slimy to have to pay for a reservation. I get that no shows are not ideal and impact business so allow the cost to go towards the final bill. You get enough free marketing on social media with the amount of swing photos that are shared, you do not need the reservation fees.

    Good experience. The wines and ciders were relatively good. Found the wine a bit on the weak side as I prefer a bold robust red. It might be the youthfulness of the wines and maybe need more time to ferment. Great atmosphere and staff were awesome. Highly recommend

    We had a great time at shale ridge. The charcuterie board was small for the price, we were expecting something a little more. We will definitely be back though, their cider and wine was delicious, staff was friendly and attentive and the vibe was cute for pictures.

    We had a fantastic time, the staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious. The swing table made for a wonderful addition to our meal and visit. The cider was delicious, it was hard to choose a favorite. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful day out.

    We’re always looking for a way to relax away from everyday things. Shale Ridge gives us that feeling of “Welcome “. Since our two fur babies are welcome into the patio it’s a treat for them too. We are looking forward to another visit soon.

    This is a beautiful winery with a gorgeous view. There are lots of different seating options and Instagram-worthy spots throughout. The wines and ciders are very tasty and the food is good as well. The prices are fair and the flight options are great for trying lots of different things. I also appreciated being able to have a sample of something before ordering a glass. I will definitely be back, and recommend this place to my friends and neighbours! My only feedback would be that it would be nice if the servers talked through the menu more like at a wine tasting. Make suggestions based on what people like, tell us about the place and how the wine is made, offer some information about the different wines and ciders. Especially since the swing table has a cost for booking, I was hoping for more information and knowledgeable suggestions from the staff. Our server was very good, but more like a restaurant server than a winery. I still thoroughly enjoyed my experience, it’s just a suggestion for the future.

    We had to ask the staff to move us to an indoor table because the yellow jackets were everywhere. We did not order any food, so I can't comment on it.

    What a beautiful venue and staff. The owner is so incredibly professional and made a point to check in with us. Her staff is also very accommodating and courteous. Shale ridge is a very busy place and we were attended to extremely well. Will visit again and again.

    The atmosphere was exceptional and the cider flight was so yummy. The flatbreads were to die for!!! It can get very busy but that’s to be expected with a great place. Love that we got a free cider can by leaving a review!

    Great atmosphere and drinks, however service was slow or non existent, and our table was often forgotten about; server then seemed annoyed we would go inside to order so if your on a time limit just be mindful but if no restrictions definitely worth a stop.
