    We decided to stay in Salida after we went skiing at Monarch. Found this place had openings on open table and secured a reservation. When we got there, they didn't have it. We waited as they honored the reservation, thankfully! As we sat at the bar and waited...no one addressed us. Walked passed us many times then finally greeted us. Took drink and appetizer orders and we're sat. Had waited 40 mins for the appetizers to finally come. They were delicious. They forgot to come back and get our dinner order. Finally placed that and the meal was incredible. Would've loved to give this place all 5 stars, but the service from the individuals that weren't family that owned it stepped up. Terrible service, but amazing food! If you don't mind waiting and hit or miss service, the food was worth the wait.

    We enjoyed the food, wine, ambiance and especially the wonderful service by Mickie. The menu options were wonderful and the attention provided by the staff was perfect.

    Even though we made reservations through OPEN TABLE the restaurant did not follow procedure by checking us in when we got there. I have my receipt so I can get my points because I did find then dine there because of the listing on open table. I tried to encourage the owner to continue using the service provided by OT by explaining the only reason I was there was because of their listing on OT. According to the owner they have a new menu, I was not impressed.
