    Being Mother’s Day, it was not even busy. As in tables where not full, no line ups to get in even though we had a renovation. Communication is not very good there as two separate people called on two separate days asking to confirm details. Unfortunately with it not being busy, was still a long wait between being sat and anyone to check on us. Then it took a long time get get our food, almost 45mins and was lukewarm. We were checked on once between receiving our food and getting the bill. During our time at the table, another table was sat well when we ordered. They were sat, ordered, ate and was paying their bill the same time as us. The food did actually taste very good though!

    With friends we have a "breakfast club" - been to all the "name" hotels and restaurants for a few years. We all agreed that this was the best food and service we had received to date. We do not normally repeat with the same restaurant but it will be difficult to stay away.

    It wasn't very busy, which made it quiet enough to have a romantic dinner. Melanie wasn't supposed to serve us, but she stepped up and made it fun. My bison was so tender and yummy!

    The food was amazing, so flavorful, so well balanced. The service was just lovely. Lesa was so kind. The atmosphere was just perfect for brunch and we can't wait to come back.

    This is a hidden gem for a weekend brunch. Locals pay attention. If you have 4+ people and do t want to sit at a bar for brunch. This is the place. Menu has some nice treats like cherry ricotta French toast. Enjoy.

    Overall very good , we had a good brunch waitress good considering not area she usually worked in ( filling in for someone else ) . Only disappointment that they didn’t have a real birchbark canoe to go with David Thompson theme . All definitely good will return.

    Timing for drinks and food was not good. Drinks came just a couple minutes before food, we didn’t even have a chance to enjoy our drinks before the food came. Appetizers came at the same time as our mains. Chicken burger was lacking sauce. Coffee was horrid, like it was sitting there for hours. This is our second time here and was disappointing compared to our first time.

    I ordered the Bison Poutine. I was surprised the potatoes weren’t fried or crisped as expected with “smashed potatoes”. The bison wasn’t amazing either, but there were lots of cheese curds and good gravy. Service was alright.

    I had the grain bowl and it was delicious! My fiance had the chicken sandwich and he said it was really good but could use more sauce. The service was really good too. We shared the poutine and both loved it. It was a little bright and open in the room for my taste but would be a good setting for lunch!

    Wonderful service, food, and environment! It was very quiet and cozy over by the fire and our amazing server was there to fill our coffee before we could even finish half! The food was fast, hot, and excellent tasting! It was a good value for what we paid and how much food they give you! I would definitely go back and recommend it to others as a great brunch spot!

    The service was excellent as the woman who served us was warm and professional. The atmosphere, though there were very few people dining, was great. Fire burning, good lighting, good company. The food was not good. My Grain Bowl was cold and lacked flavor. And that sort of dish is my usual go-to.

    My sister and I dined at 4 pm...our stomachs were not good. We asked for eggs for our dinner, and kitchen said, no way...we ended up with salmon and mashed potatoes..both were very nice, but was about the only thing on the menu that was semi stomach friendly... we ended with diet pepsi, and we are coke drinkers..

    the salmon was fantastic! so was our waitress! wings and beef pasta were good too, vegan forever was a little dry and a little salty, otherwise overall we had a wonderful experience! loved the atmosphere and hotel stay was excellent also.
