Our server was friendly and aware that we were going to that night’s Maple Leaf’s game - she made sure that we were served our food in a timely manner. Everything tasted great and I would definitely go back!

On Leafs game night, don't change the TVs mid-way through the game and don't play loud music over the game. This is a Sports bar not a nightclub.

The only reason we went to this restaurant was because of their happy hour deals. When we got there, the staff told us they are not honouring the advertised prices for happy hour because of inflation. We were then told that we would be paying full price instead of the advertised price. When the legality of this was put into question, they offered to honour the drink prices but not the food prices. Left a sour taste and bad first impression, I don't think we'll go back. Especially with plenty of other great establishments in the area.

Courteous friendly service. We had fish and chips and chicken cordon blue. Very tasty. Good beer. The large beer could have been topped up a bit more, but not bad. Great sports screens. Good place to hang out at prior to sports events, concerts, etc. Good place to wind down after events. Downtown prices -- yes, but not too crazy. Great folks. I'd visit Shoeless Joe's (SJs) on The Esplanade again . . . and probably again. Best to make a reservation around predictable busy hours, before Leafs games and popular concerts. Very nice. All was good but the service staff was the best. dcb

One meal was forgotten. When it came it was entirely wrong but we needed to get to the game so we just ate it. Service was slow for a night that wasn't busy. Food tasted good.

Traffic was bad so we arrived little late. Server accommodated us so we made it to our concert on time. one problem we ordered appetizer and it came after the main course - I understand that was because they were trying to help us make it on time. So Service overall was good. As far as value, 8 oz glass of wine (Wayne Gretzky Pinot Grigio) was $15.49. I don't think it should be that much...other than that it was good experience!

The food was okay but the service was pretty bad. We had a few mistakes in our orders like the wrong drink or side. One of us is vegan and ordered a beyond meat burger but was served real meat. They apologized but didn't seem like they understood how bad the mistake was. Wouldn't recommend this place

It seemed as if on this day the restaurant was a little under staffed. The staff that was on hand did their best and the experience didn't suffer. The tv volume was too loud requiring people to speak loudly.

Had a fantastic time at Shoeless Joes before a concert. We ordered a nacho platter with chicken for three to share. Everyone loved it. Two of us had the half rack of ribs with fries and coleslaw. Ribs were very meaty and tender. Fries were delicious and not always the case at other places. The fish and chip platter was enjoyed by another person in our group. Our server was very pleasant and quite attentive always checking in on us. We mentioned we had a little extra time and we’re in no rush. She explained that was perfectly ok and never rushed us. We will definitely be back next time we are in Toronto. The only thing I can think of that could be improved on is the coleslaw. I think they need a new recipe!

Drinks took 20 mins to arrive at our table despite literally 1 table occupied in the entire restaurant. We ordered off the happy hour menu but were tricked in to the larger menu items at triple the price - which we learned of when paying. The waitress disappeared for 30 mins and I had to finally go the the front of the restaurant and ask the 5 employees standing there chatting for my bill. Terrible experience and really validates why this was the only reservation available at short notice on game day. What a waste of $100.
