Siddharthas Indian Kitchen
Our ingredients are sourced from local farms and businesses. We believe everyone must do their part for our future generations and we are active in promoting sustainability – we use local, fresh and seasonal produce – our food reflects the pure taste of nature and the love it was grown with.
We use only the minimum amounts of fats and salt in our dishes to create healthy and nutritious meals. We always marinate our meats for deep infusion, and braise to a plump and mouthwatering finish. All of our menu items are created to keep you healthy and happy.
This was our first time and we were pleasantly surprised! Food was well prepared with beautiful seasonings and portions generous.
Our server was attentive and pleasant.
We will be back!
Siddhartha provided tasty food and gracious hospitality. Although they were busy, after we'd finished out meal we didn't feel like we were rushed of.
Minimalist little place, typical of the drive. Young fellow looking after the patrons was very good....tried his best to make sure everyone was happy. Food was mixed.....my husband did not like the taste of the Rogan Josh( actually neither did I), our friends found the aloo gobi and biryani “ok”, while I thought my tandoori chicken was delicious!.....though the salad with it could have been a little more and not “under”the chicken.
Great food and service.
The food and ambiance were good. The service was noticeably lacking though. Even though the restaurant was only half full and they seemed to have 3 servers working (so high ration of servers to tables), we had to ask for our drinks, which we had ordered shortly after arriving to our table, but came well after our appetizer was delivered. We also had to ask for our naan twice. It came at least 10 minutes after the rest of the food arrived. To the point that some of our party stopped eating their meal because they wanted to eat it with their naan.
Siddharthas is our go-to place for Indian on the Drive. The restaurant has been renovated since we last visited and it seems their menu has also changed. Gone are the slouchy velvet armchairs replaced with standard tabletop chairs; more modern decor touches as well as increased seating at the bar. The menu has variety of standard mains including seafood and lamb dishes (3). My companion had the lamb korma. The portion was modest for main entree. While the featured special butter chicken described “with chicken pakora, salad and rice” came with plenty butter chicken, there was only one pakora, and salad was lettuce & cucumbers. To be fair, our host did say it would be “sample” and it was tasty for the price. Service was friendly without being intrusive. If we are back on the Drive, we would definitely check out “best lunch buffet” is true or not.
food was great except roti was a bit too hard for my kids and lamb dish had like 6 pieces of lamb in it :( service was extra slow and we were the only big table...don't think i would go back booking a big party...
otherwise curries were tasty!
Food was great.
Light staff but attentive server.
No lamb dishes that night? In an Indian restaurant?
But food was delicious. I will go back to try the lamb dishes assuming...
Very open dining area with bench seating against one wall. Overall a clean establishment and the feel was casual at best. We ordered samosas, they were mini and quite delicious. The portion sizes are quite small, butter chicken had 1 breast which I felt was too little considering we were sharing. The coconut rice was excellent!
Although we won’t be back it was nice to experience Indian food outside our neighbourhood.
Very average experience. Returned one dish as it was not at all what it was suppose to be. Will not return unfortunately.
Poor service, dirty dishes, sticky bathroom. Felt very rushed and uncomfortable the second we got there. Forgot half our order. Would get delivery or takeout tho as the food itself was excellent.
