   We were very disappointed and sorry that we made this booking. The wine was OK, but we noticed that there were no price labels on bottles as it usually happens in wine bars and the choice was very small. The person who served us didn't know anything about wine. When we asked to tell us about the nenu, the person who served us went to the kitchen to find out what the chicken rulade meant.There were only 3-4 choices of main in the menu, so I was surprised that this person was not able to tell us a bit about this meal. The meal was salty and not tasty at all, we hardly finished it. We don't think that we will come there again

   Went for a casual relaxer on a Sunday early afternoon with my wife and frail Mother in Law at a quiet time. All of us were made to feel very welcome by the Maitr'e D and staff. We were informed about the wine with the options being expansive (and thankfully not lectured as can sometimes happen at other similarly styled establishments). As is the way with the the MIL we were there for good time not a long time. As we departed after nearly 90 minutes activity at SideBar was certainly increasing and it was disappointing to have to leave. We all had a lovely time pity we had to take the MIL back to accommodation as I think after another round we might have had a great time. Oh well we will return maybe their Thursday steaks!!!

   Great wine. Food not great. The lamb/quinoa salad tasted like it was made days darker - certainly not fresh. We will go back for a drink, but not dinner. Service was not great.

    Good selection of quality wines. I like they have Mornington Brown on tap, as it's one of my favourites. Staff are friendly and the host is particularly helpful. A few more gluten free options on the menu would be nice. Food, although good could be improved. Overall a nice experience.

    We live this place, it is so cool. The wine list can be a little intimidating, especially in the Chardonnay section. Would like to see more from good Chardy areas in Australia, like Yarra Valley, Adelaide Hills, Margaret River, Tassie, Geelong. Why Loire Valley? We liked the Frankland River but didn’t think much of the Terra Cotta aged Mornington Peninsula one The food was great, and the ambience is cool.

    We had a great evening because it was a family birthday. We ordered 3 special margaritas and a beer, while they were in very cute glasses, the size was small for the price, my daughter believes she saw the same drink in a bigger glass at another table

    This little corner gem never disappoints. Staff are knowledgeable and engaging, the varied and oft-changing wine selection is a joy, and the food is of high quality despite a relatively limited menu.

    Delicious burger, great beer at $20 Wednesday night special enjoyed by 4 of us. Great little local wine bar with an excellent drinks range including cocktails and a carefully selected menu of yummy smaller and bigger bites. Highly recommended.

    Very personal and attentive service. The tasting of wine before making a decision on a bottle was excellent. Lots of great recommendations on food and chose a combination of a Charcuterie and Cheese board - fresh, delicious and very generous.
