Exceptional from the first minute we got there. Was for our anniversary and they treated us like royalty. Everything was perfect, steaks, drinks....
Screaming children, overcooked steaks. Not my preference in steakhouses.
Nothing exceptional but good
Having avoided Sidecut for more than a year due to a bad experience, we gave it another try on a Monday night and were pleased to experience all the characteristics that made Sidecut one of our favorite dining spots in Whistler: great steak, exceptional service, relaxing setting.

Service & ambiance were great, but the food was just ok. We did have some great cocktails and wine, but the food did not live up to expectations from a high end steakhouse. Not worth the price and I wouldn’t recommend.

Food is typical of a higher end steakhouse. What’s not typical is the underwhelming selection of overpriced pedestrian wine. They need a new Sommelier or F&B manager.
Sidecut is one of our go to restaurants while on vacation in Whistler. The Service is by far some of the best in Whistler. There is usually a band playing close by in the bar which provides a lovely ambiance and a lively celebratory environment perfect for a vacation atmosphere.
The cocktails are amazing, the Caesar Salad is the best I've ever had, the steaks with choices of rubs and accoutrements are outstanding!
Take the time to 'get-away' and enjoy what Sidecut has to offer.

What a hidden gem for dinner in Whistler. We ate at a number of 5 star restaurants and left the last night to eat ‘in’ at our hotel and were pleasantly surprised at just how good the meal was.
Great steakhouse right in the four seasons. Just amazing steaks and food

Service was Slow, did not have the wine on the menu. Portions were small for the price.

I’m not sure how Sidecut qualifies to be steak house if they grill your meat on a space heater aka an infrared grill. I called ahead to inquire about the type of grill and a clueless hostess promised to inquire and revert, but never did. Just next door at Fairmont, Wild Flower, offer gas grilled steak, which isn’t ideal either, but it least it’s cooked in an open flame with proper smell and taste. Very disappointed.
This was my 3rd time eating at Sidecut and I was not disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and always cooked to perfection. The staff is well trained and deliver premium service. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a wonderful meal in Whistler

Lots of confusion about where our table was and we unexpectedly ended up in the lounge area. Food and service were very good but we didn't have access to the full menu we expected.

The table waiter was very attentive and explained the restaurant's specialty dishes.
The waiting time between placing the order of our dinner selection and the presentation of our meal was quite short. The meal was delicious; we asked for the tenderloin steak and it was beautifully cooked according to our request. Our choice of accompanying mushroom and broccolini vegetables in flavour-filled sauces was outstandingly prepared by the chef. This is a restaurant that we have returned to year after year for the past decade on our annual winter vacation because we have never been disappointed by the quality of the meals, nor by the courteous and attentive table waiters. Bravo! See you next year!

Overall a high end chop house. Steaks cooked perfectly. Sides fantastic. Nice ambiance and gorgeous location.
However misses big marks on service.
Wrong cocktail brought to table. Long wait to be greeted. Long wait for cocktail correction, long wait for check, don’t remember a check back for dinner, however service overall is forgettable.
If you’re a large party you’ll get prompt service. If you’re a small one prepare to feel inferior.
Service assistant was the best part of the dinner.

Amazing food and service!
The steak is excellent at Sidecut and my favorite for steak in Whistler-Blackcomb. The sauces and rubs are also excellent and once sat, the service is great.
The experience can be a little clunky on arrival which is disappointing.

Everything delicious - soups salads etc - except that my steak ordered medium rare came out blue to rare, almost raw meat.

Perfection! The mussels are always a hit, this time I tried the mixed seafood platter which is amazing and very generous. Don't overdo it on sides, they're quite big. Bob our server was very attentive! Thanks!
Overpriced for the quality of the food. The service was attentive. Three of the five of us left with indigestion that lasted about 6 hours after leaving the restaurant. The kids meal was sent back but we were not charged for it. Not the same Sidecut that we remembered from our last visit when it first opened.
Amazing food and service. Still quite expensive! But seriously delicious steak.
We went for lamb. Apparently they just switched to the winter menu and didn’t have it. Slightly disappointed given that’s why we chose it.
We ordered the 52oz ribeye. It was nothing special. Any smaller cut meat would have had better taste. We were celebrating our 2 year anniversary and in our four season chat we were told that we were going to receive free dessert and we were charged for it. I feel that it’s an over priced restaraunt. It’s the only thing I didn’t like in Whistler. Everywhere else was great.
Best food I’ve tried in Whistler! The funghi risotto was beyond delicious. Great experience, I totally recommend it
We really enjoyed our meal and service at sidecut. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Was dissatisfied to say the least. Restaurants official website mentions a fall special menu with no mention of any blackout dates. Yet when I arrived this special was turned off for the weekend. If it was not available why not mention this on the official website? Total bait and switch. Extremely dissatisfied that a hotel restaurant of the caliber of the four seasons would even try such a trick. Will not be returning.
