Historically, the Silk Road ran through the heart of the Uzbek territory. Along the caravan trails, and later the sea routes, fruits, vegetables and spices, in addition to sophisticated techniques of cooking the raw produce, were transferred from one civilization to another.

Had some amazing food and drinks after a while. Came to Toronto to visit a friend and ended up at Silk Road in the evening. The lamp chops were FIRE, so good, juicy and tasty. We were seated in their back patio, good vibe and I must say that the staffs take good care of their customers.

Im so glad to have come across Silk Road. I loved the Barg steak and the kabuli chicken which were seasoned perfectly and the sides were so much that we could not finish and had to ask for take-out boxes. Thank you for the great service as well.

Went for late night drinks with a couple of friends. Enjoyed the infused cocktails, quite unique in terms of aromatic and flavours. My favorite, the silk road martini as I learnt from the Bartender that they make their own gin in house. Will definitely pop in for the tempting food selection.

We just came across this resto while walking on the queen street and to our great surprise we were amazed with the inspirational dishes and the attention to detail each plate contained. Loaded with flavours. Do try the chicken baos, the mongolian ribs and their cocktails, my favorite was the habib pasha and silk road martini. thank you for the wonderful service.

The patio is pretty. The staff seemed too busy,it took forever to get the bill. The drinks were good but very expensive. The food was not very good. My friend's meal was extremely small whereas mine was 3 times bigger. My chicken did not seem fully cooked in the middle and the rice had no flavour.

Went to celebrate my mother's birthday on a Sunday evening, and my group was the only table outside of one other. We all really liked the food, especially the fish, the lamb chops, the couscous salad, the mezze medley and the fresh bread. However, given that there weren't many patrons, I was a little surprised at the slow service. All in all though, definitely worth a visit. It's so great that there's a halal sit down restaurant in the downtown core. 4/5. Would go again but only for a special occasion as their prices are up there.

Food was average, my friend tried to order shrimp but the waiter said it can not be done without alcohol (which i am sure it can) despite us asking him to do so multiple times. At the end when we asked for the bill, the waiter did not ask how we want to split it and "assumed" that I was paying for the shareable appetizer. All in all it wasn't a great experience and I wouldn't go there again.

The lamb shank was outstanding! We tried the chicken baos and shrimp appetizers and they both blew us away. I had the silk road martini and my partner had their Habib Pasha, super creative, and super delicious. We had a seat on their patio and its cozy atmosphere is perfect for dates. Highly recommend this spot

Went here for dinner for the first time and it was amazing! Drinks (Silk Road Martini and Shaytan cocktail) were delicious and the food (lamb chops and chicken bukhari pilaf) was flavourful and satisfying. They had friendly and attentive staff and the overall atmosphere was intimate yet inviting. We look forward to trying out other dishes.
