   Evening began with an introduction to our engaging server, Chloe. For “old fashion” lovers the Flagstaff Old Fashion is a must try. Their fish tacos are better than Rubio’s and that is saying something. The spaghetti bolognese amped with southwest flavors. Just loved our visit!

   We normally love Silver Pines! Last night was not the best though. They were way understaffed, so the service was really slow. Our server was great about communicating this and was doing best! Food and drinks were good though, and the outside patio was beautiful!

   The food and service was excellent. We had turkey dinner with mash potatoes. The turkey thick and well prepared. We also had Fish and Chips accompanied with white wine. Also excellent.

   We didnt get the shrimp cocktail we had ordered for appetizer. Kitchen was out of chips so substituted fries which was fine but no mozzarella meant we couldn't order the pesto panini which we were looking forward to.

    The food at Silver Pine is good, and the atmosphere is very nice. The service is good, too. Prices are a little high, though ($40 for a grilled salmon dinner with rice and vegetable; $18 for a salad). Happy hour saves a bit, with good drink prices.

    Little America Hotel and its Silver Pine Restaurant and Bar are both unexpected jewels that I found in Flagstaff . My husband and I had just experienced some very disappointing, mediocre at best, and overpriced meals at the El Tovar Dining Room and the Arizona Steak House at the Grand Canyon. The Silver Pine Restaurant is beautiful, elegant, and modern. When we were there, I didn't see any children. I had the Flat Iron steak, and my husband had the prime rib - both $40+ meals served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Perfectly cooked meals. Both of us had prickly pear margaritas which were wonderful. Our waitress was professional and helpful. A great dining experience, and a restaurant and hotel I highly recommend.

    The starter was good (bruchetta board). The $42 rib had very little meat on it. Was able to scrape four small bites ($10 per bite). The staff was not empathetic. Very poor value and overall fair quality. Drinks were more expensive than other bars in Flagstaff.

    The food was good, nothing special. Quite expensive for what we got, but that is the way of the world now in most restaurants. Service was good- server was very kind and attentive but not overly, which I like.

    Service was good and staff was nice. The food was tasty, but a little pricey. The shrimp cocktail was not worth the cost. The restaurant was clean and the window seats were beautiful with the surrounding trees in the area. I put in the reservation it was a birthday dinner and the hostess inquired about the birthday, but the waiter did not say anything about the birthday.

    I was solo for dinner and they seated me right next to a table of four (tables were in a line and I was literally about 10” from the table next to me), so I had to listen to their conversation while I ate my meal - no privacy, awkward, and uncomfortable. I ordered the Little America Turkey plate with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and cranberry. One would think this would be an easy meal to get right...and one would be wrong. That was the driest, toughest turkey I have ever eaten and was devoid of flavor. The mashed potatoes were ordinary, as was the gravy, and the green beans were like eating little, thin sticks. Honestly, the best things were the rolls and the cranberry, of which I could’ve used more than a tiny tablespoon-sized amount. It was way overpriced and I will not go there again, even though I love Little America and stay there when I am in the area. It just isn’t worth it.

    If you are looking for a fine dining experience, then Silver Pine Restaurant and Bar is a very good choice. We wanted a restaurant that would allow us a leisurely dinner to have with out of town guests. We were very much impressed with the service and the food as was our guests. Stephani was excellent, allowed us time to order and then enjoy our dinner. We will use Silver Pine wherever we are in the Flagstaff area again.

    Great restaurant! Our waiter was excellent- personable yet professional. The only problem was the noise level- but not the fault of the restaurant. There happened to be a gymnastics meet in town and the hotel/restaurant was full of kids- good kids but Loud kids! Food was good but seemed way over priced- but also something we have encountered elsewhere due to the post pandemic era. Overall great place. We have dined there two times and will definitely go back again

    Celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday and they did a romantic, fancy dinner with rose petals. I would totally recommend, the service was great and the wine there is amazing.

    Staying at the hotel, it was a snowy night. Two selfish, low class, sleazy women, decide to start a bar room brawl punching each other, then cops came so zero ambiance, we were also in a booth cutting off any beautiful snowy view of the grounds at Little America, The food below average and expensive...the waiter was missing in action, had to ask him for everything, when we saw him, "refill drinks", "where's my drink?" "Where are the condiments?" Waited 30 minutes for food. The food was not special in any way. $17 for a sandwich...$11 for a basic alcoholic beverage, $9 for a side salad that was inedible.

    We ate and drank on Friday, Sat and Sunday of Christmas weekend. The Friday night bartender was great. The Christmas Evening bar waitress Chloe was very personable and provided great service. The special craft drinks were delicious. The breakfast services and food were excellent both Sat & Sun. The breakfast servers and the buffet cook were friendly. Christmas dinner was menus was delicious and server was efficient. It is obvious that this facility has excellent management by the positive attitude of the restaurant and bar staff. The facility is not as luxurious as it once was, and it was very busy, but the people we interacted with were amazing. The morning hostess and wait staff were lovely. Only one night hostess seemed like she was quite confused and not too organized.

    This was the most amazing restaurant I have been to in a while and the serves was amazing !!! I think our waiter was Matt or max anyways he was the best ever and so on top of it !!! Not even mad he worked on Christmas Day … which made it even better ! The food was so perfect holy cow I will be returning for New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day !

    Our food was very good, and our waiter was excellent. We had a pre-fix menu for Christmas day dinner. What we were disappointed in was that drinks (alcohol or otherwise) were not included. For $68.00 per person, you should have at least been able to get a soda or coffee and not been charged extra. I had chicken and my husband had prime rib. We had a choice of soup or salad and cheesecake or cream brulee for dessert. I think the meal was overpriced.

    Christmas dinner this year was a dumpster fire. We have eaten here many times over the last few years always had a consistently very good/excellent meal. Christmas dinner last year was excellent in all ways. But this year was the service was just awful. It was very slow and disorderly. It was an hour before our cold food showed up all at once (soup, salad and entre). And the food wasn't anything like it was in 2021. All for $65 per plate. We are going somewhere else from now on.

    We were there for Chritsmas eve. Decorations and lighted trees were a delight. We ordered cocktails and the Bruschetta ($16) which offered a choice 4 of 7 different toppings. Wonderful starter but filling. We decided to split the Chicken Picatta and ordered it with an Alfredo Fettucine side. Delicious.

    Waiter took over 30 mins to come to table after being seated. Waiter seemed like he was having a day day for something was impatient and not nice. Took over an hour for food. 5 of the 8 peoples food were sent back due to incorrect or cold. Manager was nice and fixed meals. Waiter was still not nice.
