We went here a few years ago and it was very good. This time we booked a 9am table. We were rushed to order by 9:15pm: very early for an Indian on a Friday night. The food was OK but very expensive for what it is. The wine prices are rediculous. No wonder it was virtually empty with no ambience at all. It has lost its lustre and very pricey for an average curry. I can’t see us going back.

The restaurant lives up to Atul Kochhur’s excellent reputation. Every course was delicious. We both enjoyed monkfish in particular. The staff are professional and the view of the river makes a lovely backdrop. A bit on the pricey side, but a wonderful treat.

7 course tasting menu vegan and vegetarian …..badly cooked ,badly flavoured ( over hot burnt my mouth ) ….. tofu slimey and inedible ….Aubergine course was too bitter to eat …..dessert awful . Felt like it had all been thrown on a plate before tasting . It’s a shame we’ve been to Atul Kutchers restaurants before and fantastic meals but this one at Marlow would not recommend and will not be visiting again .

Our lunch at Sindhi was excellent with perhaps the best food I have tasted outside of India. The service, ambience and views outside of the window were all fabulous and the Goan Prawns that my wife and I both ordered were simply delicious. The rice and roti bread accompaniments were perfect and afterwards we both remarked on how good the whole lunchtime experience was. Can heartily recommend to anyone who loves quality Indian food.
