Whilst generally good, very disappointed with the sommelier who tried to up-sell a very expensive wine and, once I declined, he never returned to assist in a more reasonable alternative. A decent sommelier should be able to offer advice whatever the price, not walk off in a huff when a client won’t accept his up-selling!!

Horrible experience. Booked weeks in advance, birthday dinner for my husband with family. Requested booth, street level at time of booking. Was instead placed in lower ground (which has the ambience of a school cafeteria), at a table next to the server station and beside a table of Kardashian wannabes that could not stop obsessively taking flash selfies. Complaints and request to be moved did not result in resolution. Very expensive unpleasant experience. Will not return.

I’ve been once before and the service was absolutely terrible so I was curious about returning. We had Sebastian as our waiter and this time it was very different. He gave us bold recommendations in both food and wine. He was attentive and helpful. The food was incredible. It’s a noisy venue so that’s the only thing to keep in mind.

We came to celebrate Thanksgiving. Dinner was nice but the level of noise in the restaurant wasn't enjoyable to have discussion with our guests. A party of 20 adults was very loud.

I made a reservation for dinner here on Thanksgiving at 5:15 pm. I arrived in the lobby and just stood there. A hostess looked at me and then went about doing something else. Shortly thereafter a group of five men came in and she immediately asked them how she could help them. Completely ignoring me. Then once I got to my table my water glass and my wine glass was always empty despite buying a bottle of wine. Service was terrible. Food was good but overpriced. Won't be back.

Entrance & greeting all very slick and well managed. A little heavy on asking for our orders within 3 mins of menus delivered and came back three times in 10 mins. Then a reminder that we only had the table for 2hrs max. That felt mis-judged. Food and wine all good.

Loved it! Took our two children for a pre-theatre meal. Expensive but such a treat and the kids were treated really well by staff. Relaxed atmosphere, perfect noise level (we like it busy!), beautiful set up and the food was perfect.

What a pleasant surprise to be at S&W in London. We are frequently in the NYC restaurant and had never been considered going to S&W in London. At the spur of the moment, we desired a rare Kansas City T-bone and went a looking for a restaurant in London. S&W here did not disappoint. All was as good as in the NY site. We will be back. Thanks for taking such good care.

This is probably one of the nicest places that I have ever eaten! It isn't cheap, but the quality of the food was exceptional, made even better by the service that we received from our waiter Alex! Great atmosphere and decor, would definitely return.
