The restaurant is much too noisy. The food is a LITTLE better than most restaurants. However, the price of the food is MUCH higher than food of similar quality in other restaurants. The service is good to very good. The staff is very friendly (This is perhaps the biggest asset of the restaurant.)

Good food but $ for what you get! Small plates as entrees averaging $25, and $3 for 3 tiny pieces of baguette to complement the way small salad that should have included bread. We went out for dessert elsewhere to save money.

Probably would not return after a very expensive and pretty mediocre meal for BC seafood. I was looking forward to visiting for quite a while. The sablefish was pretty well overcooked. The spot prawn aguachile feature was a served by itself - basically prawns in a bowl of lime juice. The oysters were great! But at $4.25 each you can find them anywhere and typically much less for local Fanny Bays. A few shared dishes and 3 drinks and the bill was $250. Did not feel the value for what we ate. The servers were friendly and attentive for the most part. Overall a dissapointing meal for the money spent.

I didn't think your food are all cook in butter as one of my friends have allergies to dairy. There is not much choice of food. Also my order of panfried oyster came.. it was cold and it falling apart. We were not impressed at all. Drinks are good that about it

Went for happy hour. No greeter at the door. Stood around for a bit until we go the bartenders attention. Sat on the patio. Water glasses provided were not cleaned properly, lipstick marks and spots on both. Tap beer cold be colder. Clam chowder was weirdly sour, not sure if that's just how they do it but I've never had sour chowder before. Raw oysters were good. Deep fried oysters were my favorite. Panfried were ok. Mussels were good. Waitress was attentive. It was an overall ok experience.

Most of the time this place can be counted on, but this visit I found the Sablefish risotto a little salty. They also need to work on “seasonal vegetables” being more appetizing. Some weird rubber fungus and a some green thing that was tasteless. Also, the staff needs to learn how to allocate their time to all their tables, not just concentrating on 1 table (which she admitted to).

Nice patio. Nice selection of raw oysters, but overall brunch had limited variety. Portions are relatively small. Hash cakes were dense and over-salted. Server was nice. Food came out slow. One of our dishes had a hair in it, and it was replaced without issue. Overall, it was OK but nothing that would draw me back.

First visit and we are impressed 👍 Nice options during Happy Hours. Oysters are super fresh! Staffs are awesome. Also found out there is Paella cook out on the patio. Anyone can order for the staff. We definitely will come soon again!

I loved the oysters!! The broiled ones were so delicious and the raw ones were so fresh. We just stopped by for a small dinner but ended up ordering more food because it was so good. I LOVE the all day happy hour on Tuesdays!! I'm definitely coming back

Good food, but a little overpriced for the portion sizes. Oysters were particularly expansive compared to other oyster houses in the area. Don't visit if you are looking for a quiet spot as it's quite loud in there.

Service was nice and attentive. Food was okay - we went there mainly for the raw oysters and we appreciated the 6 different types of sauces to choose from. For hot food, they were just average in our opinion, small portions and pricing. We did like their crab cakes, but for $22, we got 4 bite-sized crab cakes. The mussels were quite good too. We spent $40 per person (1 happy hour drink per person) and we weren’t full. Also, the noise level was too much for us. We think it was a combination of low ceiling and we being seated next to a big group who had obviously been drinking for a while before we arrived. I don’t know if I would go again; maybe try another location and see if the experience is better. Not sure.

First time going there and was a little disappointed. It was my friends birthday and he was excited to try the mussels but they were sold out. They were sold out of 2/3 types of west coast oysters and 3 tap beers. The service and food was good, just wished they had more things in stock

A nice new treasure on Main Street. Seafood was fresh and beautifully prepared and the wait staff was attentive at just the right times. And most delightful was the mix of the bar crowd - from committed bar stool sitters, to small groups of friends and couples enjoying romantic oysters. It had it all.

Ordered from dinner menu and happy hour menu. Good service and fun casual venue. Fannybay oysters offered on h/h menu for $2.50 each. Paella offered on Friday with cooks making it by the front door. It was great to compare different paella. It was $24 for a one-person portion - a big high comparing to other places and a bit light on substance.
