   Good bar for watching games and getting together with friends. A bit loud so hard to talk cause there is/was a DJ doing music.

   The service was very good from our waitress. The table was hardly big enough to fit our drinks let alone a tray of food. The chicken with the spicy tequila sauce was great. I would NOT recommend the beef ribs. There was not a lot of meat on them and the meat was chewy and hard to bite off. Not what you would expect for a smoked BBQ rib. Mac cheese and brussel sprouts were very good and tasty, good portions.

   The maple bourbon sauce for the ribs is spectacular - they could sell this. Ribs are fall off the bone and the salad was super tasty. Not crazy about the beans - did not like the peppers in them, but that is a personal bias. It was a very enjoyable evening and we'll be back to try out the brussel sprouts.;)

   Went there for downtown dinning week. The food was very good but our group of 3 ordered three meals and all arrived at our the table totally wrong. From the $50 menu not the the $35. Manager gave us the lower price.

    The service was amazing. Our waiter was super friendly and very helpful. The food was AMAZING. We would definitely go back. It's too bad no minors are allowed because our son would LOVE this place.

    When I read the restaurant’s description I thought it was going to be an exceptional place with an experience not offended by other restaurants. The place in fact is just another noisy sports bar. The food was indistinguishable from any average pub. The brisket was ok, but just average. The burger was not even salted properly and tasted like hospital food. The noise was exceptionality loud. I think it is a good place to go to after work for a quick drink with some friends, but absolutely not a place for a date night out and it certainly does not stand up to its promise. Flatly disappointing.

    Ordered appetizers and food. Restaurant was about 1/4 full when we arrived. Apps came out very quickly and were good. Mains never came. Server said that they got busy all at once, which resulted in our food being delayed. Other parties who arrived after us got their food without problem. Asked again and still no food after over an hour. We cancelled our food and paid our bill. Were told that they rain out of pork, which resulted in the delay, but our entire table ordered brisket.

    Great place to meet up before a Rogers Place event. Service was very good. Brisket was good . . . but was definitely better on my previous visit. I still recommend it as a top place in the Ice District.

    What a great vibe for a bar and bbq. Service was prompt and happy to make sure we walked into a place that took a lot of pride in what they are doing. Good crowd on a Sat. night. The brisket was thick sliced and tender. Warm potato salad, beans, beans and rice, ribs, coleslaw. The best of comfort food. We brought friends from out of town that will be spreading the word. Thanks Smoke.

    Ate here before Oilers game. Cocktails were pretty good (although bartender messed up on one of our orders), brussel sprouts very good. However, for a place that features meats, we were very disappointed in the portion sizde and quality of the meats. I had the pork sliders. The pork was extremely dry and there wasn't very much of it - the majorioty of the slider filling was slaw. The maple bourbon sauce I ordered on it was almost non-existent. My companion ordered a double portion of chicken. He received 4 small pieces of cut up chicken - again, very small and dry. Will not be patronizing again.

    I dined here before an Oilers game. The decor looked cheap and grungy. It looked like a bare bones pub. The high table pub stools were backless and uncomfortable, with no where to hang your coats. The menu selection was limited, but the food was good. However, the noise level was very loud causing most people talking loudly to each other in order to have a conversation at their tables. It is unlikely that I will return.

    It was a busy night as there was a concert. We had reservations but had to wait to be seated. There were 2 other sets of people who arrived after us who also had reservations that were seated before us. When we were seated the tables on either side of us were empty and were seated after us. Both tables received drinks and food before us. We also received the wrong food item and had to wait for that to be made. Food was ok, the server might have just been having a bad day which is why our orders were so delayed. Not sure we will try eating here again.

    There were 8 of us out for a birthday dinner and drinks. Our server was great. She was very professional, had great recall and was upbeat throughout our evening out. We had burnt ends, riblets, and Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. All amazing! The burnt ends fell apart so nicely! I saw my family devour Mac and cheese, handheld sandwiches, fries, and tomato bisque. We are beer and wine drinkers for the most part, but the few cocktails we ordered looked amazing and were consumed quickly! Cozy atmosphere and quiet. Planning on returning on a night that I am not driving to have one of the many Old Fashions on the menu !

    Everything was really good. We just ended up not getting our brisket which worked out because we ordered so much food. Music was good, our waitress was so nice. But overall would highly recommend.

    Food was terrible. The riblets were bland and overcooked, I had ordered jalapeño mac n cheese and received regular plain mac n cheese… cornbread muffin as cold. Server agreed that the food was definitely sub par - I sent it back and she did not charge me.

    We tried the smoked brisket, chicken, back ribs and andouille sausage. All were very good. In fact, the food was a lot better than the last time we ate there. The venue is extremely crowded and noisy. Not a place to go if you want to enjoy conversation.

    Dinner was amazing! Our server was very sweet, but unfortunately forgot 2 of our sauces, only 1 i bothered to ask again for, and seemed distracted talking to staff who were off shift. Would have liked her to check in on us a few more times!

    We found this place for new years by chance. Was an overall decent place. Most of the meal was amazing. Brisket, fries. Hose made pickles and pecan pie. Could have been better. But avoid the beef ribs. You can’t even chew them. Then sauce was so good though you really wanted to eat them. And for price this place is totally worth going amazing. Just done so the ribs

    It was New Years Eve and very busy. They put us in 15mins early so nice. The staff were top notch The food was good but there was not enough meat in the brisket hand held. We did enjoy our experience and had a wonderful time

    Food Pretty good Beef brisket fell apart Pull pork was tender and flavourful Andouille sausage was over done and dry would not recommend. They give you a small sauce per item which is not enough. Brought to you in a small plastic container 2/3 full. Fill it up a least. Potato salad and brussel sprouts were very good. Portions are plenty big enough. Atmosphere Poor lighting as hard to tell what you are eating sometimes. We sat at a table that was bench on one side and stool on other. Would be nice to sit in a chair with a back for the money you spend. Feels more like a bar not a restaurant. Made reservation and was seated 15 minutes late. New Years, I get it but that’s why we made a reservation. Overall, will repeat.

    Smoke is an amazing place for meat lovers! The manager/owner as well as the serving staff are friendly and professional. We will be back again and again. Just moments away from Rogers makes for a great choice before any event. Parking is available along the street as well as in the parking lot on the next block. Great place!!

    My husband & I were heading to a concert at Rogers & wanted to grab a bite to eat before we went so we picked smoke on a whim as we’d never been before or heard about it. We love all things smoked meat & the food did not disappoint. It’s got a cool bar/saloon atmosphere. Our waitress was really great too. If you’re in the downtown area & love a good smokehouse/bbq joint check this place out. P.S. the brussel sprouts with dill sauce are freakin amazing & for a starter it was a huge dish. Enjoy!!
