Great Burnt Ends Benedict, bought Kansas City sauce as well and made ribs over Labor Day weekend. Nice place, good food, cool blues playing....reminded us of lazy Sunday brunch in Austin Texas at Lamberts.

As usual, overall, I enjoyed my visit to Smoke Shack. My only concern during this trip was the size of the smoked wings (they were way too large, and I’m not usually a fan of such large wings. just a personal preference), and the mac and cheese, which was kind of cold. I know I’ll be back because the wings and the mac and cheese are my favorites, and I’m hoping this was just an anomaly.

I visited the Smoke Shack for my birthday and to tell you it was one of the best birthday dinners I've had my wife had the pulled pork and I had the ribs they both were very tender juicy and the smoke flavor was outstanding and for our side dish we have the smoked mushrooms first time having them and it won't be my last they were outstanding our waiter was outstanding he was very helpful and kind and told us all about the different sauces and was very intensive to our needs parking might be a problem but we went a late afternoon and parked by a meter outside which didn't work but the gentleman from the Smoke Shack actually came out helped us and actually paid for the meter wow what's service I would highly recommend this for any occasion or just a great meal

The restaurant was almost totally empty inside, but the host seated the only other guests directly next to us, despite there being LOTS of other options. I asked if we could be moved to a less crowded spot, and they accommodated while rolling their eyes. The food was fine, but they had run out of a lot of options for 5:30 on a Friday. Definitely won't be coming back.

They made the same mistake that management makes in a lot of restaurants and that is this: 1 My wife and I had reservations and were seated in an almost empty restaurant but no one came to our table before they served 3 parties that were seated after us. 2 Sensing that the 2 bartenders and 5 wait people on the floor were not at least acknowledging us, we complained to the manager. 3 A waiter soon appeared and apologized for not coming to "his table" sooner. 4 This problem is easily fixed by assigning the next available servers to each party as soon as they are seated, no matter if it is a table usually assigned to them. The floor manager should make sure this happens 5 No one wants to be ignored just for the fact that they are doing the restaurant a favor by giving them business.

We had 6:45 reservations and we arrived early and seated immediately. We liked the ambiance and all the staff were very friendly. The kansas city eggrolls were very good, but it went downhill from there. My son and I had the baby back ribs. They looked overcooked and were dry and tough to eat. My other son and husband had sandwiches which were mediocre. The macaroni and cheese had no flavor, I needed to spruce it up with salt and pepper. Our waiter was very nice but not attentive.

Parking at this location is very hard to come by, and my parking space cost almost as much as my dinner. It was too chilly to eat out comfortably, and even with reservations there can be a wait for a table ... just FYI. Food is good.

The appetizers were great. Get the nachos and egg rolls for sure. The drinks were great as well. Unfortunately it stopped there. Food was cold when we got the meals and the server looked so disinterested that she never asked us if we wanted more drinks, how are food was or even a thank you for coming today. We were there for nearly 1 3/4 hours for BBQ? Ribs were dried out, and the sandwich I ordered was supposed to have sausage, pork and brisket on it. Both of us at the table were missing the brisket. Too bad, we had high expectations based on other’s recommendations…

Chloe B was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted immediately with warmth and seated. Ordering was a breeze and efficient. The other server (so sorry no name) was friendly and courteous. First time here. Visiting Milwaukee for a concert and decided to get some smoked meat prior to the show. We had the brisket with beans and smoked mushrooms. Everything was outstanding. First time I've ever had smoked mushrooms, and I wonder why?? They blew me away. Try the bloody mary, too. Will come back. I strongly suggest making a reservation.
