   Kansas City has tough competition in BBQ, and Smokehouse holds their own. Cheesy corn is good. Staff was really great. Nice venue.

   Smokehouse has always been an amazing restaurant to go out to with my family and it was the first choice to host my graduation celebration dinner because the food is too good to pass up. The ambience is amazing to the stained glass ceiling to the decor and the smell of cooked meat makes it even better. The service has always been wonderful every time we go and on that night out server was amazing and friendly! Would definitely keep recommending this place!

    We had a party of 10 celebrating my husband’s birthday and a kickoff dinner before we all embarked on a weeklong cruise in the Caribbean together. The food, the table service and the bar staff along with the hostesses; all contributed to a wonderful meal and experience for all.

    Spare ribs were a bit tough. Baby back ribs were tender. Meat not very smoke flavored. Sauce was a bit ketchup tasting. Unimpressed with the cheesy corn really no flavor to it. Potato salad was drab. Over all not bad prices but the meal was meah. Not bad not great. I will look for different BBQ when in KC again.

    Our service was excellent, the appetizers and beans were great, but the actual barbecue was not good. Burnt ends were overcooked and tough, also wish there were sauce options instead of so-so sauce all over everything, but I guess that’s how they were trying to hide the fact it was over cooked. Kansas City is known for BBQ and we had a party of 10 with out of town guests, and us locals were disappointed, luckily the out of towners don’t have much to compare to. We most likely will not go back.

    Wonderful experience on Christmas Eve. Had a reservation. Walked in and was taken immediately to our table. Food was great. Service was great. Restrooms clean.

    The food was great I had a sandwich with fries and it was way too much for me and I'm a big guy ..well worth the money ..when I come back to Kansas city I'm definitely going to eat there again .
