   Food was ok. Ordered the chefs tsble. Some dishes/courses better than others, but overall small portions for what you paid. Very loud restaurant it was hard to hear the server. Probably won't go back any time soon

   Excellent from beginning to end! We had the chef’s menu and it was exceptional! An intriguing variety of foods to enjoy. Meal was well paced and the service was excellent. Definitely returning again soon!

   Went for Mother's Day brunch experience. Was such a great idea, and I loved the space. I found the food/value lacking for the price- for example we only received one piece of bacon each, and this was the only meat served. Overall was a fun experience but will not participate again.

   I visited Smokey Bear with my mother for their Mother’s Day brunch celebration. The meal did not disappoint! The brown butter soft scrambled eggs were to die for and the fixings that followed were bursting with flavour. Overall, each of us were happy with our meal and will be visiting Smokey Bear again to see what the rest of their menu has to offer. Thank you Smokey Bear for a wonderful meal and mothers days celebration!

   The service was fabulous and the ambience and location are great. But the restaurant sells itself as a share style of eating and then gives you the most minuscule amount of food. We were a table of 6 and were told 6-7 dishes would be adequate. There was barely enough for us to even sample each dish. For $450 I expect to feel satisfied, not still hungry.

   Had the tasting menu, it was fantastic. A lot of unique flavours. My partner had the wine pairing and almost all of them enhanced each dish. Definitely for special occasions as it is quite expensive but it’s a worthwhile experience.

    It's not just about how good the food is! Had the wine pairing it's the conversion and fun you have trying all the great and interesting food and wine! It's a dining experience like no other so much fun! Really grab a few friends and treat yourself it's a great evening!

    Still somehow feels like a hidden gem! The food is amazing…sort of progressive, sort of oldest of school…but always worth it! Creative and delicious. With pretty much everything used is created and made in house, the outcomes are usually fantastic. The wine list is super cool and well considered. A select few cocktails, also fantastic. And, although not overly into beer, they appear to have a nice little interesting selection there!

    Unfortunately, the experience at Smokey Bear was a bit of a disappointment. The food was not good, out of 6 dishes we ordered, there was was only 1 dish that our group enjoyed. For the price you pay, there are much better smoke houses that we have been to. The short ribs barely had any meat on it, the majority of it was fat, which when you are paying $40 for it, was disappointing. The salmon was a little too rare for my liking (which some people may enjoy) and the chicken lacked flavour in my opinion. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. I think for the price point there are wayyyy better restaurants in Edmonton that you would leave satisfied by the service and food.

    I found the service and atmosphere to be excellent. The flat bread dish was incredibly well balanced, the carrots with pomegranate were sweet and delicious and the ricotta complimented them both well. The Brussels sprouts were without a doubt the best I’ve had in my life. Unfortunately the short rib, while delicious, came out like warm which was moderately disappointing. The dessert was phenomenal, however the inclusion of so much candied peels resulted in every bite leaving the chewy residue stuck between my teeth.

    The service was amazing. The servers were very well educated in their product, and it was clear They also truly enjoy the menu items. We ordered approximately 10 items, and every single one was scrumptious. The highlight of the meal was the beef short rib, which is some of the best beef I’ve had in the last 15 years.     We booked a table for 6 people for the NYE dinner. The quality of food did not suffice. We felt rushed. The server wasn't knowledgeable with the wine. Overall we won't be back. When we think of good dining in the city. This place just doesn't match up for us.

    I have to say, this is an outstanding restaurant in Edmonton. As a visitor I am so glad we decided to eat here and it won't be forgotten. My suggestion is to sit at the bar if you are a small party. I wish I had to take in some of the crafting of the food.

    The ambiance and service was excellent, the place is very cool. The menu is pretty good but there are definitely dishes that are better than others. I would recommend going but asking your server for their favourites or the most popular ones. A very cool place that is locally owned and should be checked out! Everything is also cooked on an open flame so the flavours and smokiness are delicious.

    Every time I've been here, something has been surprising, and the combinations always work. Open-flame cooking makes an astonishing difference. From chicken to ribs, creatively combined vegetables and the wonderfully charred flatbread...delicious! Best pork chop of my life. Portions are generous for two people.
