Originally established in 1974, Smuggler's Inn has been serving Alberta prime rib to several generations. Always a popular place for Calgarians to gather and celebrate, we are the preferred dining choice for birthdays, anniversaries, milestones or just meeting friends and family. Our prime rib is the main feature of our diverse menu, available all day, every day any way you like it. From a 9oz. prime rib, all the way up to a 18oz cut, our succulent prime rib is sure to please any appetite. Of course there is a creative selection of steaks, chicken and seafood to satisfy everyone. The overall experience was good however, it was super cold (as noted by all at our table), it was quite pricey, and there were only two main course choices for gluten free and my guts were telling it was indeed not gluten free. The others enjoyed their food.

I was so impressed by the changes that have been made. Very clean and the food was terrific. The wait staff were great. What a great meal and time we experienced.

I am glad to see this restaurant is well and operating for many years! Brunch is good and price is at great value point. Would live to see coffee refills for the brunch!

Have not been in Smugglers for a number of years. Expected good things and was not disappointed. Service was excellent, food very good. Worth the slightly high prices will be going back soon.

Our meal was delicious but the dessert buffet was disappointing...the desserts were not that good.

All the desserts are produced in house in our Pastry Shop and the culinary team only uses the best and freshest ingredients. Wait staff and manager were all attentive to my food sensitivities (including the ingredients in the drinks). Were sat promptly (with reservation). Cool renewed vibe with 70s steakhouse throwback. Would go back to try the desserts (too full to eat the last course because of the large starter salad and a steak bigger than I usually eat at home).

I had the smoked brisket sandwich. Very salty, smoky and greasy. Would not order again.

English Cut prime rib was Paper Thin for $38 - completely filled with Fat. Maybe the other cuts would be better, but for $38 it was literally 3 bites of meat. Not recommend. Sorry but that’s a Rip off.

We’ve been wanting to return to Smugglers since lonk downs. We finally decided to try them again for our anniversary and invited another couple to join us. On our reservations we noted the special occasion, however, that notation was ignored. The whole evening we felt the server was trying to upsell everything, without disclosing that it was an additional charge. My husband and I both ordered our prime rib asking it just be pink on the inside. Both came well done. We were extremely disappointed with the “new” Smugglers and we are nit planning on returning.
