Soco Kitchen + Bar
Join us in the heart of downtown Toronto, steps from the CN Tower, Roger’s Centre, Scotiabank Arena and Ripley’s Aquarium for our unique spin on simple, fresh and delicious food. Relax during the summer on our patio and enjoy the vibrant and warm ambience of the restaurant during colder months. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just for snacks and drinks, we’d love to welcome you anytime!
SOCO To Go makes life easy as you can grab and take your coffee, tea and so much more!
The whole staff was welcoming and very accommodating. Amanda and Kimberly made our evening so special. Now let’s get to the real good part. Our server Michael was with out a doubt one of the best ever. Fun and seriously enjoys his job.
Good service, staff was very helpful. Good alternative to the much pricer Elleven.
We had a great experience. We received a free app because there was a game day special posted but we were informed it was only for after the game. But our sever spoke to the manager and came back and offered us a free app and let us know that they would change the wording on the website. Great customer service!
The pizza was great but a bit overcooked...so the crust was hard to eat.
Wonderful, diverse menu. Something for everyone. Perfect place for a bite before any event at the Scotiabank arena!
We always have excellent, well presented food. Portions are small, but surprisingly filling. The servers are attentive and happy to help. Best tables are by the windows, as when you're further inside and facing the window it's hard to see your companion. Overall, never disappointed.
This has become a go to for me when going to the Leafs games. Always a good meal for a responsible price
Fire alarm was disruptive. Not their fault but made for disruption.
No prompt for tip upon payment with card.
Overall, great food. I will return!
I would recommend Soco for a bite to eat before an event at the Scotiabank Centre. it is very convenient since you can walk indoors from the Delta Hotel to the arena. The only criticism I have is that the menu at Soco is not very elaborate. The tuna poke is my favorite dish!
Great food and great service - thanks again! Definitely made NYE a delightful experience
Nice place good service
Burgers and fries were so tasty
Nothing special, i had the white fish and portion was fairly small, but taste. Wife had pasta and it was a more reasonable size. Would not rush to go there again.
Loved the mushroom/squash soups. Orchiette Pasta was a bit too salty. Shiraz wine we chose from Australia was excellent! Service was good. 🎅🎄☃️
Sorry, server made us wait way too long for the bill and then payment. I needed to get up and seek her out. It was a bit loud but not overwhelming.
Had a reservation for 11am. Got there on time and was informed that it would be five minutes to get our table ready. 20 minutes later still hadn't heard from the hostess, so went up to inquire upon which she said that the table was ready. Who knows how long the table was ready and would have been nice to know that when it was actually ready, and the onus shouldn't be on me to inquire.
We had a charcuterie board, can’t believe they put beef jerky from the corner store on it!
Overall, we were disappointed. This restaurant has zero ambiance: it is the breakfast room for the hotel, and it feels like it. They seated 5 of us in a booth that would have been fine for 4, and in hindsight we should have asked to move to a table which I think would have been more comfortable. The food was ok - some was excellent (the soups and salads); some was fine but nothing special. Service was friendly but a bit on and off - we had to flag down our server repeatedly. I was expecting more and we would definitely look for something else before returning here.
Great breakfast spot.
Very loud and hard to have a conversation with music and loud conversation . Otherwise staff great.
I have been there a number of times and have always had a great meal and outstanding service.
Nice place, good food, pleasant brunch menu, but... can it really be true that « the capuccino machine is broken »? If I had 25 cents every time I have heard that excuse, I would be very rich by now... So, nice food, but no espresso, cortado, capuccino or latte to go with on a Saturday morning... That’s a bit of a disapointment.
We chose this restaurant for breakfast as it was close to our Airbnb for breakfast. It took 45 minutes for the waiter to take our order even though we spoke to the manager and other wait staff who passed us by without making eye contact .
Great location to conference center for a business meal. Service was nice and value unfortunately fits in with expensive downtown district.
We love SOCO and the food. However, with this recent visit 4 people ordered the mushroom soup and 3 of them ended up getting sick right after.
Friendly service. Good value. I had grain bowl salad with salmon which was delicious. Convenient to have dinner when going to hockey game.
This restaurant is always a great place to eat at. Even when the menu changes and you can't find your favourite, you'll get a new favourite. The booths are nice and private to sit in. The service is always excellent. I like the fact that it's consistent so you can count on having a good meal.
Food and service great as always. No cutlery provided for the shared plates (Soco Salad Special) and the grilled Avocado was served with the skin on, which made a bit difficult to split between guests!
Very pleasant restaurant, good food choices and service. bit expensive for lunch
Good food but too noisy for us at evening time - friendly service
It was convenient.
Before concert dinner. Fast and convenient
Everything about this place was average, except the prices. Way overpriced for such a run-of-the-mill experience. The rooftop was not open - this was the case for the downstairs space.
Made a reservation, was seated promptly. Chose the street side patio, which was surprisingly not too noisy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Portion sizes were good, food was served hot. Had the meatball appetizer as a main dish was a great choice. Great overall, good for couples, families and groups
Rooftop should be open all day. It was a great disappointment that it opens at 4pm and not for lunch.
Great place to grab dinner and drinks before a concert at Scotiabank Arena. The patio is perfect on a summer night. Within the Delta Hotel.
