Soco Kitchen + Bar
Join us in the heart of downtown Toronto, steps from the CN Tower, Roger’s Centre, Scotiabank Arena and Ripley’s Aquarium for our unique spin on simple, fresh and delicious food. Relax during the summer on our patio and enjoy the vibrant and warm ambience of the restaurant during colder months. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just for snacks and drinks, we’d love to welcome you anytime!
SOCO To Go makes life easy as you can grab and take your coffee, tea and so much more!
I have been there a number of times and have always had a great meal and outstanding service.
Nice place, good food, pleasant brunch menu, but... can it really be true that « the capuccino machine is broken »? If I had 25 cents every time I have heard that excuse, I would be very rich by now... So, nice food, but no espresso, cortado, capuccino or latte to go with on a Saturday morning... That’s a bit of a disapointment.
We chose this restaurant for breakfast as it was close to our Airbnb for breakfast. It took 45 minutes for the waiter to take our order even though we spoke to the manager and other wait staff who passed us by without making eye contact .
Great location to conference center for a business meal. Service was nice and value unfortunately fits in with expensive downtown district.
We love SOCO and the food. However, with this recent visit 4 people ordered the mushroom soup and 3 of them ended up getting sick right after.
Friendly service. Good value. I had grain bowl salad with salmon which was delicious. Convenient to have dinner when going to hockey game.
This restaurant is always a great place to eat at. Even when the menu changes and you can't find your favourite, you'll get a new favourite. The booths are nice and private to sit in. The service is always excellent. I like the fact that it's consistent so you can count on having a good meal.
Food and service great as always. No cutlery provided for the shared plates (Soco Salad Special) and the grilled Avocado was served with the skin on, which made a bit difficult to split between guests!
Very pleasant restaurant, good food choices and service. bit expensive for lunch
Good food but too noisy for us at evening time - friendly service
It was convenient.
Before concert dinner. Fast and convenient
Everything about this place was average, except the prices. Way overpriced for such a run-of-the-mill experience. The rooftop was not open - this was the case for the downstairs space.
Made a reservation, was seated promptly. Chose the street side patio, which was surprisingly not too noisy. Staff were friendly and attentive. Portion sizes were good, food was served hot. Had the meatball appetizer as a main dish was a great choice. Great overall, good for couples, families and groups
Rooftop should be open all day. It was a great disappointment that it opens at 4pm and not for lunch.
Great place to grab dinner and drinks before a concert at Scotiabank Arena. The patio is perfect on a summer night. Within the Delta Hotel.
Great time and atmosphere!
Great place close to Scotiabank and outside patio in the shade to people watch. Wonderful appetizers and good value if there between 3-6 pm on appys and drinks.
Consistently good food and it doesn't take too long to get it.
The food and drink were very yummy and priced right. Our waiter was great. Only complaint is that I made a reservation for 6 people and all 6 of us got crammed into a booth.
The server Michael was amazing! The food was awesome and plentiful. The only small Criticism was that the tables were very close and felt like I was having dinner with the people beside us.
We wanted roof top but there was a private event happening. Food was ok. We found it to be super salty. Would definitely go back but for the roof top. Different menu. Service was fabulous! We would still recommend.
Excellent!!! Loved the food!!!
Great place to eat before watching the game
Food was good. Portions on the smaller side and the service/ambiance are just OK.
We weren’t starving but needed a light meal before the show, so we shared the green salad and pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious! The honey drizzle on the pizza was a great twist to an otherwise traditional pizza.
The service was excellent.
We had been here as a company’s team, having a breakout from a conference. We got a nice table, and noise level was low, so the team could have a good chat. The waitress was very friendly and helpful on questions and order changes. The entire team was very satisfied with the food quality.
The food was amazing! Great prices for the quality!
We had a great experience at Soco and ended up eating there twice on a recent trip to Toronto. The food was excellent both times. My husband ordered the duck on our first visit, and I had the salmon. We ordered flatbreads on our second visit and they were wonderful. Good beer selection, and kid-friendly restaurant as well.
Initially planned to sit at roof bar which was far too hot (in the sun) and the music too loud (getting old I guess). Downstairs there are no booked tables outside but our friendly, helpful waitress found a table for us. Unfortunately even the friendly waitress couldn’t do much about the heavy delays on serving ordered drinks. If it hadn’t been for her, the score would be lower. Food was good though.
Great breakfast, and hot bartender!
Overall the foood was good, but it was too loud to have a business conversation. I will go somehwere more quiet in the future.
I’ve restaurant if you can seat down on the terrasse... Inside it is quite loud.
Very nice service.
I tried for the first time of my life a Mac’n cheese but this was too heavy.
Couldn’t finish my meal.
The pizza looked very delicious, next time I’ll try this.
Very good children’s menu.
Had an excellent roasted eggplant appetizer. Our mains were shrimp tagliatelle and a salad, both very good. Service was friendly and attentive. Seating is comfortable and reasonably spacious.
A nice selection of food but I was disappointed with my order. The mushroom soup wasn't hot and very salty. Grilled cheese sandwich was ok - very basic.
Fun for lunch- sat on patio. I originally booked for breakfast but they don't serve all day so I had to order lunch unfortunately.
It’s about the third or fourth time I have been to Soca. Ordered the tuna poke it was so salty I had to exchange it for the grain salad. The waitress did mention that they had recently change the ingredients
