   Food was not good at all. Our server was very nice guy but was pushy to get us to pay the bill. Though we stayed under 1.5 hr Was ok. Experience not worth the price

   Overall I don’t think the food was as delicious as I would’ve hoped. We got calamari and oysters. Fairly average for the most part. We got their mango cocktail and the last one on the cocktail menu CANT remember the name. That was ok. For mains we got wagyu and the strip loin. Both tasted fairly bland for the most part. Would I go back again? Maybe but most likely not. Bill came to $400. Would’ve been nice to walk away paying that price knowing I had too notch food.

   A great starting place if you want the Yorkville experience. Definitely more on the louder side if you preferred something more intimate. We had the special: Gnocchi with 4 cheeses+ the fettuccine lemon pasta, grilled octopus, sea bass and banana brulee. The fettuccine needed a little more citrus and the bass was plain for our preference. The staff were friendly and we had great service.

    Beautiful restaurant with wonderful ambiance. The food was excellent and the service was superior. Was there for our first time specifically to see Errol Fisher but enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Highly recommend!

    Food very delicious. Had the Wagyu, sea bass, oysters and scallops. Dessert is an absolute must! I always order the one with pistachios and cherry. Perfect place to eat to celebrate a special occasion or with a large group.

    The ambiance, the service and the food was absolutely exceptional. We loved the DJ music as well, as we were there Saturday night, however the only minor do better is to not have the music volume so high especially during dining hours as it makes it very hard to talk and hear others.

    I went to celebrate my anniversary and the service was amazing, they brought us dessert with ‘happy anniversary’ written. It’s my second time at Sofia and I’d go back again.

    A just-okay meal for a relatively high price. In terms of food, we both had pasta dishes and felt that the pasta was slightly overcooked, well beyond an al dente level you would hope for from a $30+ pasta dish. The fettuccini was relatively bland and the 'limone' was basically non-existent. The garganelli was overcooked & the sauce was gritty and blander than expected from San Marzano tomatoes. Overall, both dishes felt like something you could've made at home and gotten better quality. The cocktails were far too heavy of a pour (although for $20, hard to complain with getting tipsy off one drink!). Cocktails with 5-6 ingredients were reduced to tasting like doing shots of whiskey & gin, you couldn't really pick out much of the complexity in the alcohol until you let the ice almost fully dilute to mellow the alcohol burn out. Service was excellent, though. Our server was very attentive, friendly, knowledgable about the menu, and patient with us having difficulty hearing her over the high noise level of a busy bar & live music. We came a few hours from out of city to go here because we had heard good things, which was unfortunate. It would be a totally fine dining experience if you were paying $18-$20 a plate but for a higher-priced Yorkville establishment it was definitely disappointing. There is better dining for cheaper in the same neighborhood.

    I celebrated my birthday here and Sofia accommodated all of my requests and it was absolutely stunning and such amazing service from all of the staff there and especially our server. Will definitely go back and recommend 100 percent

    Love Sofia and the food and ambience is great. We had an issue this visit when paying the bill at the end of the night that wasn’t our fault that was a bit off putting and not in line with a 5 star dining experience.

    Truly exceptional - cannot wait to return. Worth the drive from Buffalo just for dinner. The food and service were both amazing. The burrata was fantastic and the bolognese was exceptional.

    The vibe, decor, service were all exceptional. It's a lively, joyful atmosphere and really feels like a party in an art gallery. The appetizers we had and cocktails were fantastic.! My husband had lamb which was delicious cooked perfectly. The CARROTS I would eat as a meal they are soooo good. I had scallop fettuccine, the pasta was clumped together not really that tasty and there was only 1 scallop but it was cooked perfectly and delicious. Tiramisu really good, the pistachio cookie my husband did not enjoy. The service, excellent, lived up to what we expected for the price. We will definitely be back. Will try more things on the menu. Loved our experience! Not everything on a menu will be suited to everyone's tastes. So please don't let reviews deter you from trying new places.

    Sofia is ALWAYS my Go to. If you’re looking for great ambiance, food and drinks…Sofia is the trifecta! Sunday brunch is always a hit! I either get the pancakes or the wagu burger. Also, is brunch ever complete without the bottomless mimosas?! Try the passion ginger Bellini…you won’t be disappointed! Also ask for Lauren as your server! She’s VERY knowledgeable on the menu in full. Sweet, bubbly and attentive. She is simply the best. I think I even go to brunch for her more than the food lol. Overall Sofia 10/10 recommend !
