My wife and I went to Soif for dinner as we celebrated her anniversary and we truly enjoyed this experience. This is much more of an experience then a straight dinner. The ambiance , the food, the wines and the service are all outstanding. Highly recommended while remebering that this is an expensive Restaurant/Wine Bar.

La bouffe est excellente, le choix de vins évidemment magnifique mais, le très gros plus est le service. Je n'ai jamais vu cela dans aucun autre endroit. Exemplaire! On a quasi l'impression que les employés se battent entre eux pour venir nous servir. Et le niveau de connaissances qu'ils ont est impressionnant.

Bon vin, bon service. Pris moitié moitié. A mon goût, j’ajouterais des confitures d’oignon, des cornichons mariner. A 16:00 c’est très tranquille et surtout un mardi! Ce fut une belle expérience. A refaire un jour, possiblement plus tard en soirée

This was such a special experience. First time at Soif, but certainly not the last! Food, wine, service was all fantastic. Lucie was our server and she was delightful and very knowledgeable. Roxanne, the sommelier that evening, was a walking encyclopedia on Quebec vineyards and varietals. All in all a delightful evening of fine but unpretentious dining.

Première fois chez SOIF. Très belle expérience. Nous sentons tout de suite la passion intacte quand Véronique Rivest nous parle du vin avec beaucoup d'humilité et de professionnalisme. Tout le personnel est à l'image de sa dirigeante, agréable, sympathique et professionnel, même les chefs viennent nous présenter leurs plats à table avec la même gentillesse et passion. La cuisine est originale et inventive, et bien sûr il y a de nombreuses pépites à découvrir en termes de vin. Si vous passez par Gatineau, ne ratez pas l'occasion de vous attablez chez soif.

Always a beautiful experience, we were on there backyard patio which is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city! Food and wine are always a wonderful tasting experience ! Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Service took a while to come by and noise was loud but the food was tasty. Plates a little too small even if they are tapas style, maybe a little more food would be better for two to share. Wines were lovely.

Un excellent endroit pour découvrir les vins des quatre coins du monde. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la formule "trio" (trois demi-verres) qui existe en blanc (orange, rosé) et en rouge. Leur tartare de bison est excellent et les assiettes de fromages et de charcuterie sont généreuses. Bref, si vous aimez le vin, le bar "Soif" est un incontournable !

Very nice place, cozy and relax with a magnificent back yard. The wines list is endless and of very high quality. Two lower points: 1) As most restaurant these days, almost no more paper menus. we had to fight the person that welcomed us to get two of them for a table of 6 people. 2) The beer choice is somewhat limited. I know, I know it says "Soif, Bar à VIN", but still with all the current offering there is a way to offer more variety, especially in the lower alcohol range!!! Not every one drinks wine, but we still like to eat well and accompany our loved ones that loves wine :-)
