We arrived on time for our reservation, the hostess told us it would be a moment and we moved to the side. Another couple then gets sat only to find out that it was supposed to be us. We were sat 20 minutes later. The manager was of no help, when presented with this problem he replied with “what am I supposed to do? Kick someone else out?” We were sat and had a great server, unfortunately our food came out before we even got our drinks. So needless to say the bar was super backed up. My husbands tacos were great. I ordered a salad and couldn’t even eat it, it was so spicy. Who would have known that “spicy greens” is like eating a jalapeño salad. We will not be returning.

I will never return. Would give 0 stars if this was an option. Absolutely awful service. Took 40 minutes to get a drink. Tons of people working there, yet no one actually working. The food was terrible. The ambiance is non existent. And expensive.

First visit to Solita did not disappoint. We had the grilled corn appetizer which was perfectly grilled & seasoned. Our waitress even kindly cut it off the cob for us! Our food was delivered in a timely manner and was delicious. Our whole party ordered off the Sunday brunch menu. It had a nice variety. They also had a guy singing and playing the guitar. He was good and not too loud.

Ambiance, service, food, and drinks were all excellent. The happy hour is a fantastic value. We’ll definitely be back. Live music started around 6:30pm on the Friday we were there; it was pretty loud and hard to converse during it.

Great experience! Went before a show at Dr Phillips and they were fantastic! We had a reservation and they sat us right away and in time for Happy Hour! Great Happy Hour appetizers and drink options. Delicious entrees. Great service and out in plenty of time for the show!

I'm not sure why thgey take resrvations here. I made a reservation of r6:15, arrived at 6:15 but waited another 30 minutes before my table was ready. So it didn't start out so well. However, once we were seated the server was very good and she was attentive. The food was better than I had expected and the proce was much less than I expected too. They should just not take reservations.

We got sat at our table and was never talked to or approached again. After numerous servers walking by and no one coming to even greet us we walked out. Waiting for 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and still left unattended we would rather spend our money somewhere else.

I don’t usually write negative reviews because restaurants can have a bad night just like anyone else. But, this time I’m feeling obligated to do so. This was our 3rd time coming to Solita’s. The first experience my husband and I had brunch right after grand opening and it was pretty amazing! Service was top notch, food and drinks arrived in quickly and the ambiance had a great vibe to it. The second time we brought our adult son and chilled on the sofas with the large coffee table setting. The drinks were taking forever but we chalked it up to a busy night. Still felt upscale and the vibe was kickin! Now this time, (and sad to say, the last time) I decided to invite my whole family to celebrate my birthday. Again, I had always enjoyed the ambiance at Solita but this time it was not there. We were a table of 8 with reservations at 6:30. Other than our table, I think there were maybe 5-6 other tables seated and a couple of people at the bar. (No other large groups!) We placed a drink order for 5 members of the party and it took almost 30 minutes to receive them!! Yes 6:30 reservations and at 7:00 we got drinks!! That was the first sign that things weren’t right. We asked the manager about our drinks because we saw them sitting at the bar - they had been there for several minutes. We watched the bartenders doing dishes and cleaning while leaving them there to sit! Our waitress took forever getting back to us, and later we discovered she was the ONLY one working tables. I felt bad for her and tipped her well, but the manager on duty should be instructed on how to handle being short staffed.. Pulling up shirt sleeves and helping out versus walking around and observing would have made our experience AND our waitress’s night so much better. I fear the demise of Solita is imminent with the continued decline of service.

Our 2nd time there. The food was awesome both times. The first time the service was great. The service at brunch yesterday was not good. The food was extremely slow to come out and were not even served together and it was just two of us. Drinks also were very slow. I will give it another try only because the food is amazing.

We made a reservation for 6:00 PM. We did not ever get a seat, and we waited for almost 2 hours. A seat finally opened up at the bar and we were finally able to eat dinner two hours later at the bar. After we ordered at the bar, they finally offered to sit us at a table.

Soccer game and concert same night nearby. Restaurant was not prepared for amount of traffic they were going to get. Long wait for table, with reservations, 45 min past. Ran out of glasses and ice. Staff did best to manage up, but management should have been prepared and and extra staff on hand.

Absolutely underwhelming and completely disappointing. Parking is tough b/c it’s downtown and parking garages are stupid there. We were a few minutes late for our reservation, and the host immediately greeted us by saying ”you’re late so your reservation is no longer good.” he claimed he was just joking, but made us stand over to the side and wait 10 minutes for a crappy table to be cleaned off. The table was closest to the kitchen and beverage area. It was awful. Then we waited 15 minutes to be greeted and given water by our server. When he came with chips and salsa, he apologized for the way the chips looked, and that there were so few in the basket because. “Our chip machine is broken” Once we finally ordered - about 20 minutes later, the food came out in about 3 minutes. Seemed like a fast food experience at an understaffed poorly run overpriced restaurant. The live music was loud and (sorry) not good at all - the singer was more interested in hooking up with women at the “birthday table” than I’m providing quality entertainment. It was a hot mess with mediocre food and bad service. We will never go back.

The potatoe nachos are flavorful and filling. The rainbow mimosa bucket is definitely worth it. And the bread pudding was great with the ice cream!

The food was mid at best. I’ve had better burritos from home. The burrito was dry and the sides were small. I mean baby portion small. I’ve served my baby son bigger portions. The service was ok. She was polite but I’m not sure if the kitchen can handle the capacity of the establishment. FYI, this was a Friday night and the place wasn’t packed. If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican experience then this isn’t it. If you want to enjoy a date night out in downtown Orlando with decent drinks then this might be your place but if you’re looking for good food then look elsewhere.

First timers. We will be back! Roberto the bartender was the best. Fantastic tacos and drinks. The singer yesterday was great. A tad bit too loud but really good. Bar chairs were a little low. Could be adjusted a few inches taller
