Service was below average with things forgotten. Food was average to good but the venison was tough as old boots. What really let the side down was the drinks list, it was extremely overpriced and poor quality which detracted from the whole experience.

We are in London visiting from the US. Som saa was recommended on many of the traveling apps .. The food was excellent and wait staff very professional . We highly recommend.

Food was excellent as usual. The highlight was the deep fried seabass and the palm sugar ice cream. Ambience was fairly chilled for a Sunday lunch and the service was attentive but non intrusive. For authentic Thai food with nice vibes, I'd highly recommend this restaurant *****

The best Thai meal I have ever had. The food was outstanding. So perfect and well balanced. Even the herbs and chillies on each dish were spot on. The fried fish is the best fish dish I ever had. Everything g was perfect. The service outstanding. The restaurant is beautiful and airy. Not stuffy even on a hot day.

som saa is probably my favourite restaurant in London and the nahm dtok plaa thort (deep fried seabass) is always outstanding so this more than makes up for any other short falls but I was slightly disappointed by the service on my last visit not for a lack of pleasantness but a lack of attentiveness including a considerable wait for our bill.

Fantastic restaurant, the food is the most authentic i have eaten outside of Thailand. They have everything right at Som Saa, i have never had a bad meal, the service is always great, it has a nice atmosphere and they do good cocktails too.

One of the best meals we've ever had. Came here for a birthday meal, with my girlfriend who is Thai - so she is very difficult to impress with her home cuisine. Every dish we ordered was incredible and portions were plenty (we had come one time before and the portions seemed quite a bit smaller), so I dont know if we got special treatment for the occasion, got lucky, or they improved their experience. Our waiter Pedro was also fantastic, personable and attentive - we asked him to cancel a dish because we were too full slightly late, and he did it no problem. Then when that dish arrived anyway, the manager kept it off the bill but allowed us to keep it! They also brought the dessert with a candle in it as per my request when I made the reservation (I didnt need to remind them). All in all, definitely the best meal we've had in London, and made a special occasion even more memorable so thanks to Som Saa!

Hands down the best Thai food I have ever eaten! Everything was just perfect...the scent of Thailand when you walk in, the mod yet old decor, the lip smacking food. I started taking pics of my food but then I got to engrossed with the taste explosion in my mouth I forgot to take pics of everything. I highly recommend the tasting menu! I can’t wait to go back

Food was amazing however our waitress was overly insistent and wouldn’t let us order what we had intended as it would affect our ‘experience’ of the food, but did not offer helpful suggestions otherwise. They also did not have a record of our booking, despite having received a confirmation. Overall it made the visit less pleasurable. Would recommend just for the food albeit on the pricier side.

Excellent Thai food with dishes not found at other London Thai restaurants. Great cocktails and dessert as well. Prices are reasonable for the authenticity of ingredients and service was attentive. Highlights include the trout curry, grilled prawns, fried sea bass as well as the lovely palm sugar ice cream with caramelised banana!
