    Service was great, most of the food was great. Sadly my mothers pasta had to be replaced due to a hair in it. But service staff fixed it quickly. That’s a first for us at this location. It’s always very good!

    As always, the staff created an atmosphere of being part of the family. The food is always great, and the mushroom festival of food should be taken in my anyone with a love for this fabulous fungus! Bon Appetite!

    We had a lovely anniversary dinner with old friends who were also celebrating there anniversary. We were able to bring our own wine being that it was BYO wine Wednesday night. The meal was very good. I had veal cannelloni, it was delicious! They graciously gave us two complimentary desserts! We reminisced until closing at 9. The next day I realized they close at 8 on Wednesday. Oops! Nothing was said to us.....Yes we will go again!

    We were celebrating 3 separate special occasions as our family was all together for the weekend, which I told the restaurant about when I made the reservation. There was no mention of either one of the occasions. We choose Sorrentinos for the ambience and were hoping for some acknowledgement by the staff to mention the special occasions. Disappointing.

    First time experiencing Sorrentino, the food was amazing, surpassed our expectations, service was excellent, great personality and great energy! My wife said that it's the best pasta she's ever had and I make my own pasta so, looks like I might have to sign up for your cooking class lol. You can definitely taste the quality in the ingredients, mushrooms mushrooms mushrooms, so glad our first time was during their mushroom harvest... try it for yourselves! See you again soon!

    The restaurant inside was pretty loud. The outside patio, where we opted to sit, was peaceful and beautiful. The server was friendly and her timing was also on point. Too chatty for our liking, but that's just us. The food (mushroom soup, lamb shank and mushroom rizzoto) was a bit salty. The drinks, Kentucky mule and watermelon sangria, were delicious.

    Had our family out to dinner to celebrate. Food was excellent (except for the mussels which are hard to prepare well this far from the sea). All family members enjoyed their selections. The tiramisu in recognition of my celebration was a nice touch.

    If you have food allergies double check your order and food before you eat it, one of our people had a chilli allergy and they didn’t read the order properly and put in it her food. The food was very tasty and plenty of it.

    Pasta Tuesday, I didn’t realize and had booked a table for our anniversary. Food was awesome, our server was great but took 48 min for 2 dishes of pasta and the server was embarrassed and felt bad for us. But, I also realize it is a busy night.

    The server was cold and unfriendly, didnt make any small talk or apologize for any of the issues we encountered. One of the drinks we ordered was salty for some reason. In a party of 4 half of our food arrived 10 minutes after the first half, it was cold and contained ingredients that we asked to left out. We asked for the bill and were expected the debit machine to be brought over with the bill. We waited for the machine to be brought over and after about 10 minutes we got up to ask to pay. Not inclined to return for expensive cold spaghetti. The hostess was exceptional and very friendly.

    We were in the separate room which was very nice. The server was pleasant enough but after she took our order she didn't return to refill drinks, water etc. My brother and his wife were just there for drinks not a meal and he wanted another beer. Thank goodness the gentleman that takes the reservations came in to check on us and he finally got him another drink. We have been to Sorrentinos before and in the separate room but that was the poor service we have ever had. I am sorry to say.

    2nd time at this restaurant. Again, same waitress this evening as last time, she was very responsive fast and efficient and knowledgeable about the menu and specials, offered advice and suggestions when we had questions. Food was excellent, timing served properly between appetizers and hot. Will definitely be returning. Great evening out. I'll attach a few pics of our food we ordered. We had mussels in white wine, beef carpaccio and a bruschetta bread variety.

    Great night out, service was exceptional, food was quite quick to come, it would be nice to not be so rushed. Muscles are our go to for a starter and they did not disappoint. 2 of the 3 dishes were really good, the cannelloni was a bit more than al dente…maybe underdone. The flavor and service overcame that. Always a place to bring mom when we are in town to visit.

    We continue to have mixed experiences with Sorrentinos in Stony Plain. We had a large party this evening. Most guests enjoyed their food. Unfortunately my salmon was overcooked. Sorrentinos is not cheap so I expect a fair degree of perfection. I’ll continue to come but be more selective with my choices.

    Our Anniversary was fantastic. Our server, we couldn't have anyone better. She was awesome, she made sure that we were looked after. Amazing young lady. The food was beyond what we expected. It was delicious. The portions were good. The ambience was great. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Oh by the way the desserts were a nice touch. We will come back. Thank you.

    Gluten free pasta could be better. They use Barilla and its a little cardboard tasting. Garnish was lacking. They need microgreens. Looked like they dashed some stuff out of a plastic box from costco. Wasnt fresh. Service was a little slow but was fine as we were wrapped up in conversation. They could have topped up wine a little more and would have bought another bottle. Not much option for GF desert. Would eat here again but don't have high expectations. If you're looking for a fancy night out, go elsewhere. If you're looking for just an average meal, it will do for something local.

    Overall the experience was outstanding, we (our family went for a Birthday celebration) were happy until the bill came. We always tip very very well. However the tip was applied already. Not a fan of that practice. Then after leaving we looked further at the receipt and the GST was charged to the tip. I'm not even sure that's legal.

    Experience was ok. It would have been better if our waitress informed us that bottles of wine were half off when I ordered an $18 glass of wine. I noticed it on the menu after and asked her about it. I was not impressed. And she didn’t even try to make it right or apologize. That ruined our experience unfortunately.
