Sorrentino's Stony Plain
The Sorrentino’s in Stony Plain always delivers.
Great food! Good service! And nice atmosphere!
I can’t help but keep coming back. 😁
Excellent food and the waitress was awesome! We look forward to coming back.
Greet food and wine...we enjoyed the appetizers, pasta, prime rib and pear tart. Delicious! The service was on par and we were impressed with the portion size, we all were satiated and pleased with our meals. The only downside was the constant noise made from the bar area, we think it was as a blender?! It was very loud and disruptive for a special occasion dinner, perhaps sitting in the dining room would have been a better choice.
We have tried your place for 3 running years for valintines, it's the last visit for us. Server was very good, but its extremely noisy with no privacy and lack of respect by others but it's the close table that are no good, lack of privacy, tables way too close together, hate your layout and some people have a complete lack of respect staying between tables for several minutes right beside us, also blocking the way for the waiter. Why is it I have to speak up when you have a restaurant manager, suggest you do something. We dropped 160.00+ at your restaurant and didn't feel good after leaving.
Great food, excellent service. Was a night to remember
The food was very good. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. The service was quite good. We weren't rushed. We had a very nice evening out.
There were four of sharing a booth ,had a reservation on line worked out very well booth was waiting for us. We had our two granddaughters with who are very familiar with many different restaurants in the world especially Italy and Great Britain they both were impressed wit h Sorrentino's. Thank you for a wonderful evening as usual, we have visited the restaurant a number of times.
Nice restaurant but best of all was the food. The entrée of Ling cod and lobster with roasted potatoes, carrots, beets and broccolini was supperbly cooked with delicious flavors! Will be back very soon.
We sat in the pub area which actually seems to have more "ambiance" than the dining room. Perhaps the dining room had a special event on Sunday, Feb. 10, necessitating rearrangement of tables but it seemed to be too open. I enjoy having more privacy. Some decorative barriers would be a plus. The service was very good and overall experience requires a second visit. Thank you.
Great food, great service. This is a great little restraunt.
We had made reservations for our 20th Anniversary, and were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was great! For starters, we had the prosciutto wrapped figs, which are so delicious. We also shared the Salmon Carpaccio, one of our favourites. And then we both ended up having the Tenderloin, which was cooked to perfection how we requested, medium rare. My wife had one of the desserts, which she really enjoyed, but I can’t remember the name. It was similar to a pudding/custard, I believe. We will be going back!
The buffet was excellent. good value for the money.
Great overall dining experience. Was a girls night out for me, with a very close friend of mine who was in from out of town. We had reservations for 7:30pm - got in as soon as we got there, no wait. Our server was very pleasant & our food was top notch. Good portions for great prices! Will be back!
Very good as usual. Food was fantastic as was the wine and the service. We will be back again soon
First time at this location. Five stars in all categories. Great food, service and value. We will definitely be back.
Always great food and great service no matter what time of day you go!
Met expectations. Too noisy for me. Server ,Yuno, was a delight and made the experience rise above ordinary.
Our last visit to this local eatery was over a year ago . I am glad we came back .
Each of our family had different dishes and everyone said " outstanding "
Make sure you don't miss the lavazza coffee
Great food , Great service, Great place
The Tuesday special of our chosen pasta/wine meal and our server’s attentiveness, were both very good. The choice of background music, added to the ambiance of the dining room. The carrot cheesecake, is always our favourite dessert.
Great meal! My favourite Sorrentino restaurant
It was very nice.
Our last visit was on New Year’s Eve... booked a Booth for 8:00. Pm but when we arrived the two young ladies were still siting talking. They had finished their meal, no longer drinking, just talking. Manager told us to sit at the Bar while we waited. Ordered drinks, & finally after 30 mins. The manager told us he had a table ready for us. He mentioned that the drinks were on him because of the wait - nice gesture on his part. Our meal was super delicious, enjoyed the company of folks at the table beside us. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. When we left, people on the bar side were having a Ball.
Our reservation was for 6:45, we got seated promptly but it took over 15 min for a server to greet us, let alone to bring us water. Ordering drinks was ridiculous. We ordered our drinks and those took forever to come. We both ordered steaks, but I wanted double the vegetables instead of potatoes and veg (hubby wanted the potato and veg). When our plates came, I had the additional vegetables as well as potato. Hubby only had steak and veg, nothing else. We couldn't get a hold of a server, so we ended up just switching our plates and steaks ourselves at the table. We ordered another drink and once again it took probably 15 min to get.
The food was great, but the service was terrible.
Prior to our recent visit I would have definitely recommended sorentinos, but our last visit was Very disappointing. It was Dec 31st and obviously the management was trying to capitalize on the evening because tables were crammed in. The corner of our table was literally 5inches from the back of a seat of another table. The server was even frustrated having to navigate around our table to get to the table he was serving. After being seated I asked our server if the usual Monday special was applicable, he simply said no....as I was finishing my meal, I got to hear the server tell the table next to us of the specials for the evening, frustrating part was...I would have ordered both!!! I was looking for fish on the menu, but didn’t like the description of the salmon, so picked something totally different. Also it just so happened I looked for a sangria, didn’t see one and decided on a different drink...ugh sangria was the special! We had long finished our meals and our server was nowhere to be found....finally another server offered to help and boxed up the rest of my pizza. We then made our way to the exit and explained to the host (who I believe is the manager or even owner) that we were tired of waiting for our server to return to our table and that we would like to pay. He processes our payment with apologies and did give us a significant discount. I will visit again, but I will specifically ask to be waited on by a good server, possibly even ask for Vince.
Kelly our server, was great, the only challenge is that she ended up getting so many tables she could not attend to us. We did give her a most excellent (an outrages tip) tip, as it was our 43rd anniversary and New Years eve. But we felt some what rushed as the next reservation was soon expected for our table from what we understood. Spent over 220 dollars for two persons, had no problem paying that, but was slightly disappointed. The food was awesome… I had on of the best New York Steaks ( it rivals all the steak houses) . My wife had the seafood risotto it was excellent to use her words. I do like that fact that they will recork your bottle of wine and let you take it home. My wife had just had surgery and could not drink or eat much. So that was nice option.
This was our first time at the Stony Plain location. Very nice restaurant, great service. Would like to see gluten free dishes on the menu.
Thank you. It was a good night for my mom’s 82 birthday!
Everything was lovely - good service and great food
It's absolutely a pleasure to enjoy a great meal and great service!
We’re regulars at this Sorrentino’s but haven’t take the opportunity to provide a review. We when with extended family (9 in all) and had exceptional service and tasty food. Servings were large and we all took something home that we couldn’t finish. Always enjoyable.
Disappointed in the steak, cool not hot, sauce was too much when you enjoy the steak taste. Apps and desert were good and pasta very good as always.
Quiet dinner, with delicious food and drinks.
We came for a family celebration and, as always, were pleased with the quality of both the food and the service. The whole family enjoyed their meal, and we were put in a private room so we could laugh and move about. Overall a wonderful experience!
Excellent service. We all enjoyed the meal we chose. The spacious room was appreciated wry much.
Everything was good but this time our food was exceptionally salty. To the point that I couldn’t finish my meal. It has never been like that in the past.
Very very good food, average server. Found that the manager was coming around more and was more helpful than our actual server.
We often go here with friends to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and any occasion to have a good meal. We are never disappointed and my husband looks forward to the mussel soup - he swears it is the best.
Overall a fine dining experience, albeit it was rather cold in the restaurant. Temperature should have been at least 4 degrees warmer.
I went here with my girlfriend for date night and we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be going back again the food was amazing and the staff was friendly and available when needed
