We always love eating and drinking here. The food is delicious and they always have some kind of special drink available. The service and setting is wonderful. I would recommend to everyone. This was our first brunch and there was lots of options. We also love to go out for dinner here in the evenings.
Best Mediterranean Pasta EVER!!! Switched Penne for Angel Hair though!
Made a reservation which was for a large group. Service was moderate. Prices were moderate. Food was ok. Male food and beverage manager was a bit rough with his table side manners. We were checked up on towards the end of our meal by the owner which was a nice gesture. All in all just a moderate experience.
The Garlic festival was on and it is a must for garlic lovers (Garlic festival is over for this year). We visited on a Monday night and it was quiet. Service was attentive but not overbearing given the lack of customers. The starter we chose was garlic stuffed risotto balls. These were lightly breaded, delicious morsels (3) served with a garlic marinara and perfectly cooked. For a main I chose Garlic Risotto with cold smoked salmon and my spouse had a Linguine with chicken and of course, garlic. Again both were cooked perfectly. I would not have thought cold smoked salmon and a hot risotto, along with capers, would go together but I was very wrong. It was superb. The capers were not overabundant and lent a perfect tanginess to the salmon, which went very well with the risotto. My wife's linguine was done al dente, maybe just a shade more on the softer side, which is exactly how she enjoys her pasta. A very enjoyable patio meal!
My wife and I met friends for brunch and all of our meals were excellent. Service was great as well. We will be back.
Excellent service as always. Will be going back
We always go to Sorrentinos's for the garlic fest and once again it was great! The garlic infused appetizers and entrees were delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. We like the Wine Wednesdays where you can bring your own wine with no corkage fee. Would highly recommend Sorrentino's in Stony Plain!
New restaurant , wonderful atmosphere, visible authentic pizza oven, great food, nice sized portions, creative drinks and special, great service. I would highly recommend trying this place for any event or just for a night out.
Our evening was great from the beginning to end...our meals were large and full of seafood...wine and beer topped all off...we will be back
We had the kind of evening we were looking for. Enjoyed some appetizers (which we normally do not order) because we wanted to take our time and just enjoy the evening. The chef's (meat and cheese) plate is certainly generous, and tasty. We enjoyed a bottle fo their feature wine, which was modestly priced (and saved me $30 over what I was going to buy), and it was serviceable. Our mains (mushroom chicken risotto special, linguine piscatore) were served nice and hot. The mussels and clams in my pescatore were relatively small, and mushy; not up to the standard set in Spruce Grove. Dessert was tasty, but not outstanding, and for the price; small.
However, all-in-all, we enjoyed our evening and received excellent service.
Great food, good wine, excellent service from Angela and Glen
We had a big group (10 people) and the food and service were excellent. Everyone in the group was very pleased with their food. Thanks for the great experience.
The service and food are always exceptional. Have never left disappointed. Highly recommended.
Excellent service, good wine, great food... what else’s is there
The ambiance is good, the food is excellent, the service was superb. Highly recommend!
Main course was not to the standard we have come to expect from Sorrentios. We don’t dine out often and we’re disappointed. Will probably not go back
Always fantastic! This time was no different.
Called them that we were going to be late and they said no problem and kept the table on a busy day like this.
Food was great
We were there to celebrare our 50th. VALENTINES DAY AS A Couple. SORENTINOS resturant totaly made our dinner a delightful experiance. The staff were very helpful and curtious. We think the restaurant must be quite new from the clean and shiny appearance. The prime rib was at least fourteen ounces and medium well as ordered. My wifes seafood dish was also very delicious, I got a lot of tastes.
I love this place. Delecious food, amazing staff and a beautiful design.
We had a great time to connect with some old friends over a meal.
We enjoyed the dinner. I suppose it depends on what you order and what you prefer. This is the dance. I chose the Linguini Pescatori with Spicy tomato sauce and after having the mussels with white wine sauce, I would have the Pescatori with the white wine sauce. I thought the spicy tomato sauce lacked depth, slow cooking etc. Anyway, it was lovely and the service ambience and all that stuff was great.
High quality meal and service. Barely able to finish my excellent halibut and tiger prawns due portion size. Would not hesitate to go again
Wonderful food, very nice ambience and very good service - a wonderful dining out experience and would definitely go there again. Note of interest - at least 50% of the menu options are different at each Sorrentino’s - and it all tastes great so gives you even more selection to choose from
Good as always
Fantastic as usual.
Excellent food and service. Feature wine was delicious.
Was a relatively quiet evening with very good service. Great choice of wine very good food. We will visit more regularity.
Excellend food, service and value. So nice to have a fine dining venue in the area. We will be back.
The steak was cooked rare and when it came back it was burnt. The risotto was so salty, I needed water to be to dilute the salt.
We had a pretty good experience, besides there weren’t enough servers in for people and she couldn’t keep up. At times we had no drinks, no Parmesan cheese for our dinner but it was again not her fault since she had way too many tables that night.
Our reservation for 5 to celebrate an anniversary gave us a reasonably quiet table. Conversation was not drowned out by loud music. Our server was helpful and expedient, though there were only 3 other tables being served.
The food was a little disappointing. The Buschetta served on pizza dough lacked flavor and the carbonnera didn't have the smoky bacon flavor which is what I was seeking.
Prices were predictably high, but I was willing to pay since we have a paucity of true dining restaurants in the Stony Plain/Spruce Grove area.
The brunch menu looks interesting.
The overall experience was good. I've dined at various locations many times. I ordered the pollo Portofino as it's one of my favorites and I've prepared it myself. Unfortunately that night the chicken was much too dry as was filling and the reduction was scarce and not as piquant as I remember. The pasta side was adequate but somewhat bland. Otherwise my dining companions were well pleased with their selections. I am still a sorrentino's fan and look forward to patronizing your restaurant in the future.
Super food and service, made for an excellent anniversary dinner. Rudy didn’t rush us, it was very relaxing. Will definitely be back!
Great to have a local restaurant that is a little more classy for a special occasion. O
2nd time there and it was as good as the first. Wine list has changed so beware of that, but the food hasn't. Fresh bread appie was great. The meal arrived fairly quickly and was absolutely delicious. Wait staff was exceptional. An overall great experience!
Everything was great, the booth we received was nice and cozy. The Caesar with dill pickle vodka was amazing. The charcuterie for two paired great with the Malbec. Dinner was delicious, cooked perfectly and the carrot cake cheesecake finished it off. Great time. Look forward to visiting again soon.
It would have been my parents 68th wedding anniversary, if my dad would’ve still been alive. We didn’t get the type of table that had been requested when I made the reservation. The table we were seated at made it rather difficult for us to visit due to the distance from each other and the noise level (my mom had hearing aids). The food was good. The servers seemed to be unable to adjust to dealing with an older person, but it was adequate.
Delicious food. Warm and friendly service. Glen and Jimena took such good care of our family.
