Found this gem on Dundas west. Excellent food, personable and friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Winner all around. Highly recommend!

The food and service were excellent. The waiters wore masks all the time that we were
there. They were helpful and friendly. On another day when the weather was sunny and
warm we ate on the patio. Another big plus for this restaurant is that there is free parking behind the restaurant! They also have take out.

A classic neighborhood Italian eater of the highest caliber. Fresh homemade pasta is divine and their tomato sauce is worth writing home about. Orata pan-seared was a great daily fish special and the Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare was worth coming back for. Wine list is decent and well-priced. My wife says the cheesecake is the best she has ever had - made by the owners mom with a family recipe. We will be back, again and again.

Sorsi e Morsi has officially become my favourite Italian restaurant. The food is to die for!!!! Butternut squash with sausage risotto is amazing and i have no words that could possibly explain how exquisite the Chilean sea bass dish is. The food was fantastic, all fresh and with a gourmet homemade taste. Rocco and his staff are super friendly and go the extra mile to make sure that you’re made to feel like you’re at home. Excellent food! Excellent service! Great experience! Will definitely be back!!

Our second time here and we LOVE IT!! Wonderful food and great service. If you want authentic Italian food, you go to Sorsi e Morsi.
And their Negroni? Absolutely delicious! We’ll be back.

What a great find! I was looking for a place with great ambience and food, so really thought I would have to venture into Downtown Toronto but I was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be regulars!! The food was fantastic, the service wonderful and the atmosphere was cozy yet buzzing. I highly highly recommend!!

Amazing new place

Lovely, caring and attentive staff.
Attention to little things - split the Caesar in the kitchen; made a makeshift sleeve for my ‘to go’ Americano.

We aren’t locals but the patrons seemed familiar with the spot and seemed so happy to be there. Everyone greeted as family.

I wish I had a neighbourhood place like this!!

I took my wife here for her Birthday. We were very pleased with the choice. The food was top notch. I had the cornish hen and was very impressed by the plating and taste. The staff was the right amount of friendly. They brought desert and did NOT sing "Happy Birthday". My wife enjoyed the Vitello Tonnato and said it was just like she used to get in Rome.

Based on this experience I would not recommend but might return to give a second chance. When we arrived, it took a very long time before we were tended to... Felt almost as if we were a bother...as the evening progressed two other staff members arrived ( perhaps one is owner??) and service / attention greatly improved with new arrivals; they were much more engaged.

This was our 2nd visit to Sorsi e Morsi and the food was very good and the service as well but there was a very noisy party and it took away from our enjoyment of the evening as it was very difficult to maintain a conversation.

With Vince you simply cannot go wrong. He is so very attentive and passionate!

Overall, a great experience - we will be back. It was a busy evening with no empty tables and we ended up feeling a little forgotten for a while, but service was good once we were noticed. The chicken parm special was excellent with flavours I haven’t experienced before.
