Unfortunately, there was a delay in getting our food out to us so we waited over an hour to receive it. Some kind of mix up with the ticket getting to the kitchen. Our waiter was delightful though, Alay, and he was trying his best to make it better.

Wonderful every time we go. Yummy food and drinks. The calamari is some of the best we’ve ever had and the fresh mozzarella with Tuscan bread is a must every time we go!

This is the 2nd time coming here and the food and service were terrible! The food had no flavor. The Kalahari restaurant videos they play in the hotel room over and over were very misleading. Our server came to our table twice, to get our drink and food order and then to give us our final check. He never checked on us or refill our empty drinks, it was bad service. Not to mention he gladly gave himself the added tip because we were a “bigger” party since we were a family of 6. We will not be coming back.

Celebrated my sons 5th birthday and chose Sortinos over Double Cut due to the pizza, pasta options. As a first time diner it was anticlimactic; ambience was nice but no one acknowledged my son’s birthday, which was the reason for the “season”. Food was brought out before dirty dishes were cleared away, making it almost impossible to sit any of the food down. Towards the end of our dinner the waiter was reminded that we were there celebrating my sons birthday, he brought out a menu and said he wouldn’t be able to do any “free desserts” his manager didn’t allow it; he again never acknowledged my sons birthday as this would have been more than enough. At a $300 bill, a $14 dessert isn’t “free” it’s a “thank you for choosing us for your celebration” and a “I hope you chose us in the future for your dining options”. It creates loyalty and solidifies the sense of care. I guess the Italians don’t celebrate or acknowledge birthdays-sucks.

The only complaint I have, I sat at the bar and a party of four men sat next to me. The gentleman immediately next to me apparently is employed by the Kalahari Resort and was commenting on how they up charge all of the cocktails and really sell them. I really could care less about your business, and honestly as a customer I don’t want to hear how y’all “up charge the cocktails”. Just bad etiquette. The bar tender was nice and the food was good. The indirect company to my left—thumbs down.

I ate at Sortino’s because I was at a conference and didn’t want to bother leaving the resort. Mistake. The wine list is limited and very pricey. The antipasto salad was not bad and a half salad is huge. The Alfredo was awful and the shrimp I added horribly overcooked. Skip it and leave the resort!

It was our first time visiting Sortino’s and I wish we had gone sooner. We were promptly greeted upon arrival and our reservation time was met without additional wait. Dorian was our server and he exceeded our expectations with top notch service. For drinks we tried the house Cabernet and Sangria. Both were excellent. For appetizers we had the fresh mozzarella, meatballs, and the sausage with peppers. We still can’t decide which was our favorite so I suggest trying them all. For our main dishes we had the Seafood Al Diavolo, Chicken Parmigiana, and Braised Lamb. All were great but the lamb was everyone’s favorite. We’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I went to Sortino's for our 35th anniversary. Everything was fabulous. From the complementary valet parking to the attentive host and servers. The food was soooo good. The music in the background was perfect for the location. A big thank you to the staff at Sortino's for making our special occasion perfect.

If you love Italian seafood dishes, absolutely order the seafood Al Diovolo. It’s spicy and full of lobster, shrimp, and other shelled seafood. The flavor is amazing! We also ordered the lamb shank, the chicken Marsala and the spaghetti and meatballs and all of it was delicious!

This is our second time eating here and we love it. I highly recommend the house sangria. I like the red. We tried the pasta mafia, Caesar salad, kids chicken fingers and pasta, and the chicken parmigiana. Delicious! Our waiter was great. We really enjoy this restaurant.
