I sat in the garden of Eden and it was beautiful it got a little hot up there but the managers and some of the staff brought out fans but the experience was beautiful I celebrated my birthday and the music wa fire the DJ she didn't me a showout Keke that's my name

Me and my friends had an awesome brunch! We were seated upon arrival and greeted by our waiter very quickly. They food was good and they give you your money’s worth. They grits were very delicious. The bottomless mimosas were a great deal. We enjoyed the music from William Davenport and the whole “Soul” experience!

I was disheartened by my recent experience. I'd visited this location previously as a guest of the owner a few months ago along with my family who own a couple of restaurants in Chicago. Although I did not eat at that time, I enjoyed the experience and recommended the location to other family/friends. I patronized the restaurant recently w/ 12 more of my family visiting from out of town for a cousin's reunion. The reservation process and the front-of-house interaction were great. They were personable and it was a limited wait to be seated. Once we were seated the experience took a turn for the worse. We sat for 20 minutes before being greeted by a server. I had to stop a server to ask for someone to come to our table. She informed me that she was our server and asked for someone to bring us water. She took our food and drink order and other employees ran the food to our table. 2 people in my party received cold food, 2 more people in my party received what tasted like spoiled seafood (they ordered fish), 2 more people never received their food and 1 never received their drink. I asked Nicole the manager several times to approach the table so that we could alert her of the issue and she ignored me until the very end. No one apologized for the issues, the ones who never received food ordered 1 drink and no one offered to comp their bill. I was disappointed in the difference in the level of service I received from the first time as a "VIP" guest and my recent visit as a regular guest. I'd hate to think we were dismissed because we were regular guests, but additionally, I observed that Dr. Umar patronized the business earlier that day- I'm sure he received quality service. The lack of customer service and cold food were unacceptable. We were there for 2.5 hours (mostly sitting around waiting for server/manager) and enjoyed about 45 mins of our time there. We were not the only ones to complain that night. Need to work on consistent customer service and hot food.

I brought my sister here from Memphis, TN for her birthday and it was amazing. We enjoyed the food and the live music. The scenes was beautiful and the host was so wonderful. The lamb chops was 🔥🔥🔥We will be back.

I’ve been to Soul three times and each time the food we ordered was not good. It tastes microwaved. My daughter tried to eat broccoli and when she bit into, nothing but water came out and the actual broccoli wasn’t even edible. All you could do was chew on it like a chew toy. The food is too expensive for this. Also, I’ve made reservations twice and both times I got there, staff was surprised that I made a reservation and we had to wait to be seated at the last minute and there was still not really anywhere for us a reserved party to sit. It was makeshift. And the staff was frustrated, being smart with us as if it was our fault. Lastly, we came for a watch party that was advertised on social media as Soul having 21 TVs. We got there and the staff was lost again. Wasn’t even sure we could get the tv turned to the game. As a matter of fact, we helped the staff find the channel for the game. Actually taking the remote and finding it ourselves. This was after we had to change tables to get closer to a TV that they could find a remote for. After we moved, we didn’t get waited on for a nearly hour. I absolutely LOVE the ambience in Soul! I love the vibe! But these areas need some serious improvement.

We made a reservation for 8:15pm and were told their reservation system was down. We were told we could wait or sit in the back . We opted to sit in the back and after that we were forgotten. We ended up leaving. They need to hire better management. Bad service is trickling down from the top. This place could be great but things are not being executed properly.

Reservations was at 6:45 but wasn’t seated until 7:30. Host had to tracked down server just to get us water at 8pm. Only ordered drinks because server didn’t ask if we wanted to place an order until around 8:25. Then we weren’t seated at an actual table. We were seated in front of the band with a small end table that doesn’t move and came to my knee area. Drinks didn’t arrive until 20 minutes later at 8:45. Been at this place for 2 hours by this time. Left around 9:30 couldn’t take the bad service any longer. The band was great though. Had to leave an order food at another restaurant because service was extremely bad. This was our anniversary night and was very disappointed. I even included that it was our anniversary in the reservation. We ate dinner at Hattie Bs since other restaurants were closing after we left Soul. Will never return again.

Came here visiting from STL MO and everything about this place was amazing. Beautiful scenery, music, food, staff. I loved it. Whenever I visit TN SOUL will be my first stop. Keep doing what you all do!

The vibe in Soul is great! There was live music and it's great for pictures but most of our food came out cold. Not to mention they brought out everything in pieces to the table so everyone was eating at different times. They rushed the food out as if they were bringing out hot food and that was not the case. Other than that everything else was fine but they really need to get that kitchen in order.

We went because of their live music. While the band leader (who was a their house band) was good, the featured singer was HORRIBLE! The atmosphere (decorations) was just so busy and the food was just mediocre at best. With all that being said, our waitress was great and checked on us several times.

We reserved a table for 715 and was not allowed to get a table. We got there at 6:30 waited until 830 and we left. No one was concerned. No one tried to help we were totally ignored. It was first come first serve so if that’s what it was then that’s what we should’ve been able to do and not to reserve something and then not get what we reserve bad business I had folks coming from Hendersonville Antioch to all come together, and we were totally ignored.

My party of 7 was looking forward to experiencing SOUL for the first time. Our reservation was set for 145 PM. We arrived on time and immediately had an issue with parking. Luckily some of my party was able to park across the street. We walked in and loved the decor of the restaurant. However, before we could even look around we were greeted with a wave of heat. We weren’t acknowledged by the host until 2 PM. When I let her know we were there, she said she would “be back.” A couple of minutes turned in 30 minutes. We later found out by the host that the air and WiFi went out which caused a backup. At 245 PM, an HOUR after we arrived, the host tells us that it will be a few more moments and that she will get us a table. I was hoping that at least management would’ve at least attempted to correct the issue

The first time my book I had a bad experience, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt however, I booked over a month ago and they let a party of 45 take our seats and anyone else that had booked through OpenTable. A couple was waiting from 5:00pm till at least 7:30pm when I was there, maybe longer. I’m so disappointed in our people! I love supporting my own but reasons like this set us back!

This is a pretty cool place to check out - but I will warn you that the music is very, very loud. Probably better for a late night, party type vibe. I would not suggest going here for a casual lunch as you will not be able to hear the person across the table from you.

The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable about menu items. I have been there with a party of 2, a party of 4,and a birthday party with 20 guests. The staff adapts and is always accommodating. I like the vibe, the decorations are surreal. When I leave I feel like I’ve returned from another place. This is not the place to go for conversation. You can only hear if someone is speaking in your ear. The music is to be enjoyed. Local entertainer William Davenport performs most Saturday afternoons. He pleased our group of senior citizens, as well as my millennial goddaughter and her friends. They thought I was cool when I took them there when they visited Nashville.

Soul was a true vibe!! It was good drinks, food, and music! I will definitely be back. It was a good time. I made reservations for a large group and upon walking in we were seated. The band was a vibe as well as the DJ! Go see yourself!!

When we first arrived we had to wait about 15 minutes and I had a reservation. And then we finally got seated . And it took about 15 to 20 mine for us to get a waiter . But the waiter she was sooooo good! We absolutely loved her! So she made the whole experience GREAT!!!! But the vibes were absolutely GREAT! We will be back though . The food was ok . But overall we enjoyed SOUL
