   Our waitress was so nice and helpful! The food came out fast and was hot! All of our food was good i just would have liked my Mac and cheese cooked a little bit longer for a crisp top!

   My experience was nice the young lady that waited ms Heaven was kind. I ordered the stuff chicken with side of Mac n cheese. The flavor was vey good but the garlic butter was swimming in my plate. I joke but it was like eat cholesterol lol. If they lighten up on that the dish would’ve perfect. The 18% gratuity I get it, but the menu is limited during dinner so it’s not a lot of options. So the importance of making sure your staff is tipped well is the benefit to them.. I just think that should be bumped up to parties more the 2 guests. But that’s my opinion I would try them again but likely the to go option. You’re paying for an experience thats for sure. Live music was very nice. All I say check it out for a nice date night or girls night out.

   I highly recommend this dining experience with Soul Shack!I felt like I was in 1920’s in real time,and boy did I certainly enjoy that.From the food to service this place was a 10/10 for me.

   Outstanding service from the entire restaurant team! The oxtails had a good flavor and was an abundant serving size. The yams were good but a tad bit sweet (personal preference). The peach tea is so yummy! The ambiance was everything. Please go. It’s the perfect Harlem Night. 😉

   Food is ALWAYS fresh and HOT! Taste of food is GREAT! Service is PHENOMENAL! This is my go to spot for sure. I’m a FAN!

   The service was horrible. We had to keep reminding our waiter (the manager) to bring us our orders. The runner brought our large appetizer without plates. My friend never got her Martini and the bar closed. The waiter kept trying to upcharge me on my lamb chop to Parmesan when I ordered Jerk. It was a birthday dinner. No birthday song sung and no complimentary birthday dessert. He (the manager/waiter) told us that he had never heard of complimentary birthday desserts. The food was plated horribly and mediocre. We won’t be returning.

   Pay close attention to the up charge if ordering the lamb - $2 for jerk and $8 for parmesan (tiny print that I missed). Lamb was good but the presentation was lacking.

    Despite making a reservation, I was seated at a dark back table in the very back next to the restrooms with little lighting and an obstructed view of the entire restaurant. The host said that she had already seated too many “walk-ins” before us but there was still plenty of tables available and that was her problem. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to cause a problem. So while other guests enjoyed their dining experience, we sat in the dark shadows in the back corner. The food was average nothing amazing.
